I enjoyed reading Chosen by Paddy Bostock right from the first page. The author writes cleverly. I especially love his style of writing. It’s witty and funny at the same time. Also, he builds his characters gradually and you get to “live with the characters and experience life with them” because of that.

The book tells the story of Jeremy Crawford, a very successful man who has everything he wants but is suddenly not happy. He’s not happy that he didn’t choose his life. He then goes soul-searchin

Chosen by Paddy Bostock
Remarkable Book! When I started reading, I had a very basic idea about this book but after a few pages, I was without any doubt addicted to it. “A human can never be satisfied” Main character is living example of this phenomena, he have everything any human might want but still not satisfied. Why? Because he does not feel free. None of us are, and this book beautifully portrays how Jeremy work towards his freedom, to finally choose and not get chosen, with the help of his

Couldn't put it down...

Someone once said, ‘nothing has any meaning other than the meaning we give it ourselves.’ And, when an event or moment comes along that disrupts our fundamental assumptions about life, the result is a search for the deeper meaning of it all.

The story-line and plot of Chosen was amazing. From beginning to end, the author holds the reader's interest. As always, Paddy Bostock does a great job with character and story development. He's so prolific, so inventive, so exactly wha

Fantastic read!

Chosen is the story of banker Jeremy Crawford; the man who (on the surface at least) appears to have it all. Jeremy has the career, the success, the wealth - things people dream about, or work towards all their lives.

But Jeremy comes to realise that something is missing in his life.

He realises that his life has no real meaning, and that he doesn’t want to continue to live the privileged but monotonous existence he’s lived for years. He begins to question his current life, his de

After reading The Hanging by Paddy Bostock, I was thrilled when I got the ARC for Chosen. I like the unique style of Paddy where you not only have a good storyline and character building, the writing style itself is very enticing.

The story revolves around the MC Jeremy who suddenly realises that he's never Chosen anything in his life so far. He has conversations with his Pet Pig Pete about how his life is ... one-sided of course!

What he does and how he takes charge of his life, or does he is t

By Paddy Bostock

In this wonderful political fantasy story, Paddy Bostock is back with a book that is unforgettable and mesmerizing. It is a book that I couldn’t put down, once I started reading it.

It is a story that most of us can relate to. We all get bored with our lives, regardless of what profession we are in. And sometimes, we feel that we have to make fairly big changes just to have a little bit of bliss and freedom. Jeremy Crawford wants to live a life that he chooses and not one

An entertaining Kafkaesque fantasy. Pragmatic Jeremy Crawford is successful, wealthy and has everything laid on his feet. A genius in his work and a force to be reckoned with, until the day he wakes up with a jolting realization. He suddenly recognizes the ephemeral life he's lived over the years. Meaningless and all readily provided to him. None chosen of his own accord. Questioning himself and his actions, Jeremy withdraws from the outside world and engages on philosophical conversations with ...more
