The Story of Uma Preman who was selected as one among the 100 best women and met the President, her complete life was told through this book.
How she was deceived and ditched by her mother and her step mother.. Her interesting tale of meeting the great " Mother Teresa".. Her greatness of wanting to serve the society, the trait she got from seeing her father " Compunder Balan"..
Her fangirl moment with MGR, her story of speaking with confidence against her teacher not to punish her, her idea of asking the girl of her same age to be let outside (the girl being a widow), Imbibing the bharatiyar kavithaigal (especially achamillai achamillai) to her bestie thangamani, Accepting of her kidney transplant to a stranger, her enduring life with Preman - who had all the behaviours and characters of a patriarchal man however understand her and life during his death bed..
She started Shanti information centre in Kerala which served as a.major information bureau and provides all possible medical care and information..
