Author Ivy Hearne brings us the fifth adventure for Kacie at the Hunters' Academy with Valentine's Dace. Kacie hasn't been feeling well as a matter of fact she really isn't herself and her friends and teachers as well as her boyfriend can see it. The villeins have implanted a parasite that has been controlling her. They know more about her than she knows and she frightens them. But as Kacie goes to the Academy doctor she becomes paranoid and attempts to flee but her friends and hunting partner recaptures her. This is a great novella and it makes you look forward to the next novella in the series. I highly recommend this series and as I said before I am looking forward to the next book.

I am so glad this one picked up where the last one ended. And this one is the heaviest of them so far. So much going on packed in tiny episodes. I just wish we could get to the HEA. At least i am hoping for an hea.

Valentine's Dance
I enjoyed this story, but it was too short, even for a short story, and was the reason for my rating. It only seemed to get interesting and it was over. I hope #6 will make up for it.

Great series but to short it keeps you hanging
I'm glad that kacie figured out what was wrong with her and I can't wait to see what will happen next for them. It was sad that a friend of hers died along with some other students and teachers.

In true Carrie fashion, the evil threatens the school dance and the MC once again fights against her own inner blocks to rescue those in danger. No buckets of blood but still an interesting read. All my reviews are always voluntarily written.

Ya. Paranormal. Mystery/Suspense. This one deals with Kacie being the spy. This one is by far my favorite. Still loving it.

Valentine's Dance, part 5 in Ivy Hearne's Hunters' Academy series, really shakes up Kacie's world. Everyone knew that Kacie was infected with something trying to completely overtake her.
