This was a great read, it had me crying and laughing.
The writing just wasn't very good in general, it was heavy-handed and overly dramatic, the dialogue was especially stilted, and there wasn't much to the storyline. My biggest beef with it though was that after their first interation (when the male lead is thinking he needs to be sure to court the girl and make sure that everyone in town knows that he is doing so), the action then suddenly jumps ahead six months! An ok lunch hour read.

If you are looking for an easy read for a lunch hour, journey or beach, something where you won't become too invested and don't need to concentrate too much on a complicated plot then this is great. But it is a book of contradictions, there are pages of descriptions where a brief outline or history would do and then other areas seem rushed with minimal information which leaves you looking for more. Connor and Kelly are ok characters but there is little to draw any passion o
