It was an awesome start to the Epic Zero series! I enjoyed it so much!
It was very entertaining and it tells you it is not always good to be a superhero! I love what he did!

I suspect that some older kids into fantasy would like this book. Many children, particularly boys, will enjoy the character portraits and powers. They remind me of trading cards.
Having taught for 31 years in grades 2-6, I can assure you that few kids in the 2nd and 3rd grades possess the ability to read and comprehend this story. The vocabulary and sometimes violent storyline are much more appropriate for older elementary students.
There are some excellent messages and themes, such as perseverance and believing in yourself. This is the first book in a series. I would recommend that adults preview the book first. While some kids would enjoy the good vs. evil theme, I thought the story was okay. I won't be buying any of the other books in the series.

My son received this book as a birthday gift from someone who always seems to be "in the know" on things like this. It was a hit. Easy to follow story, exciting enough to keep interest, characters you care about. Some unexpected events... not everything is a rosy ending. My son always wanted me to keep reading which is a good sign. We will have to pick up the next one.

Epic Zero is about a boy named Elliot He’s got no superpowers but his family does. The fun part is when he goes to different universes to stop a bad thing called the Blur. I liked that a lot because it was exciting and full of surprises.
Elliot is cool because even though he is not a superhero at first, he tries really hard and becomes a hero.
But I did not like how much the book talks about the orb of oblivion. I felt like it was in every part of books 2 and 3.
Even though I did not like that part, I still liked the book. If you like adventures and superheroes, you might like it too!

This book is about a 5th grade boy named Elliot who is part of a family of superheroes that are part of the Freedom Force. His mom, dad and his sister have superpowers, even his dog has superpowers. One morning he wakes up on his birthday and does his tests to see if he has any superpowers but ends up with a belly flop on his bedroom floor.
My favorite character was Elliot because he makes the book more relatable. This book is obviously not super relatable because it is about people with powers and as of now I have none, but the author does a good job of making Elliot have situations where you can relate to him. Another reason that Elliot is my favorite character is because it is funny sometimes watching him bite off a little more than he can chew in different scenarios.
I really enjoyed this book because even though I am not big on superheroes it got me roped in at different times. I also liked that there was two siblings which made it relatable when they sometimes work together really well and other times can’t stand each other😆! Another reason that I liked this book was because there were pages just telling you about the characteristics of each hero or villain and that was very interesting to me.
You should definitely read this book if you like superheroes but I encourage you to read it even if you don’t. I know that anybody that likes action will also enjoy this book. This book is appropriate for ages 10-15 in my opinion, but if you are older than that and are still a child at heart then you would enjoy this book. I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars because I think it is a very entertaining book but I do not love the magic that it talks about.

You should definitely buy or rent this book it is well worth it. The best part is it comes with 1-3 so you don't have to and rent or buy the second one. I have just finished reading the whole 3 books and it was so much fun. My favorite book was 2 it was so cool my favorite part was when Zero was told he is going to fit for his planet or it will be destroyed. And he was like ha what are you sure and what do you mean ow ow like that ya. This book definitely brings you on an avenger. The first book was like ow snap when Zeros best friend seed I am an alien. he was like my whole life is a lie no crying. And the first chapters of book one were funny. Like when Zero told his dog he can feel it this time and jumps off his bed and goes uncoches. The whole thing you can see in your head I mean I could definitely see Zeros whole family living in a space station. My favorite superhero out of the hole 3 books has to be Zero like this 12-year-old does not give up he is like Germany in WW2 no surrender. So overall this book is an ovule 5-star review for me.

I didn't know what to expect when I started reading this series. I was gladly surprised when I noticed how it captured my attention. I found many references to certain movies, but the author managed to turn those similar storylines into something new. I recommend these books to 6th graders and up, no age limit.

Epic Zero is my favorite book and they are thrilling and have so much adventure. it's about a kid that his whole family has powers but for some reason, he doesn't. he has to stay at home when his family is out fighting bad guys and eventually, he gives in and tries to help. these books helped me through my childhood and there are so many that when you finish the last one you can just restart!

My son loved it!
My son result related to Elliott's feeling of being a zero. He is dyslexic and often is made to feel inadequate in reading. He learned from this book that we all have a hidden super power. He also enjoyed the fast paced action, super heros and Elliott's wit. Very much recommended

Review from my 11 year old- it's a bit all over the place and reminds me of a knockoff of other established fictional characters like Batman, Silver Surfer and Galactus. It was good and an easy read (I finished all 3 books in one afternoon) but more original characters would have made it better.

The epic zero series is amazing because it has cliff-hangers at most of the chapters and it is was easy to read and because I read it in the holiday I have to wait to tell everyone about it (whyyyyyy is the world so mean to me!!!!!!!)
