Scarlet Town

Rate this book
A HIGH ROLLER TOWN IS NO PLACE FOR A PREACHER'S DAUGHTER TO FIND ROMANCE.

When Barbara Allen first set eyes on the small river town of Munroe, Georgia, her heart sank at the sight of its saloons, brothels, and dance halls. But she'd made a promise to herself to make things work for her father, the newly appointed reverend of the local Methodist Church.

Barbara immediately got busy with a plan to close the "bawdy houses" of Munroe's "Scarlet Town." But she was up against Will Sweet, the handsome and equally determined owner of the Scarlet Town's most profitable brothels.

Will Sweet was the last person Barara should fall in love with. But she did. And, even more surprising, Will fell in love with her.

But their passion would be sorely tested. As they plunged heart-first into a tempestuous romance, their minds continued to take opposite stands- in battle of wills that proved more complicated than they'd ever dream.
