This book is the third in the series Phantom Riders MC and follows with the known elements of the stories of motorcycle clubs. I like the author's writing and I hope that she continues the story of the other members of the Club.

I really like this author and series (read 3 books so far) because there is no cheating when H/h gets together and Hero remains celibate even when the H/h get separated. The plot may be formulaic as it is generally about this badass biker who falls hard for a civilian (someone who knows nothing about mc world) and H wants to protect h so he pushes her away or H has some intimacy or trust issues and he feels he doesn't deserve to be happy.

All in all, I like this author's formula because H locks on the h no matter what and he is usually protective. The heroines normally are not TSTL and can follow instructions for their safety. I also like that H pushes ow and club whores away once they meet the h.

The chemistry between Big John and Daisy is off the chain. Even though I havent read the other books before this one I was able to get right into the story and enjoy it. There was just the right amount of heat and steam and love/hate going on that I was able to get right into this book and didnt want to put it down but Ihad to get some sleep. This was my first Tory Richards read but it wont be my last. I will be getting my hands on some more of her work.

Daisy has just gotten out of an abusive marriage when Big John, Enforcer for the Phantom Riders MC meets her. She has no idea how an MC world works, but that doesn't matter, all she wants his him and his persona of being a bad boy. Big John on the other hand just wants to protect her and if that means staying away ..... well then. Of course Daisy has other ideas.

Page turning from the start, this is a fabulous unputdownable read.

Tory Richard Does it Again!,

Absolutely loved this book. Daisy and Big John have great chemistry. He’s the Enforcer for the MC with no plans of taking an old lady or settling down. She is running from an abusive past with desire to have a bad~boy in her life. Best laid plans don’t always workout. Definitely recommend this book. You will enjoy this storyline.

I started out giving this book four stars but changed it to three. This book is worth reading, the fault was it just seemed to drag at several places. I prefer books that just make me want to turn the pages faster. Read it or not Shirley

I enjoyed this story, lots of hot sex and suspense. Better than book 2 and maybe as good as book 1. Big burly biker tries to resist a relationship with his future woman. Finally when she fights to stay alive because of her ex, he realises she’s it for him. Love the HEA

WOW!
I'M IN LOVE WITH BIG JOHN! Lol. He's a big gorgeous hulk of a man with 12 inches in his pants to match. At first he has a hardened heart, he keeps his heart guarded and swears off any kind of commitment until he sees Daisy for the first time. She owns a beauty salon and Big John needs a cut and a shave. Daisy is a little thing but built like a brick shit house with beautiful black hair. Her exhusband was an evil asshole. He mentally and physically abuse her, constantly belittled her calling her fat and when she finally divorced him he wouldn't accept it and wouldn't let her go. He continued to come around whenever he wanted and would take whatever he wanted so when Daisy has finally had enough she packs up and leaves. The first time she lays eyes on Big John there's an instant attraction between them both. Big John says to himself that he will have her. He asks her out to a club function and then when he sees her getting along so well with the one old ladies he freaks out and pulls a bonehead move by trying to get rid of her quick so he sets her up to see him with a sweetbutt rubbing up on him and let's Daisy believe there's one thing going on and let's Daisy walk out. What really gets to me is how easily these women let these men back in their lives. Aaahhhh! So anyway, John slowly starts to open up and Daisy is confused and falling fast but this relationship seems to be all about the all consuming, fast and hard, rock your world Smokin Hot sex which Daisy loves and they both crave but Daisy needs to know it's leading to more but Big John is fighting it. Until he can't anymore. When Daisy gets a call from her ex she knows something's coming but doesn't bother to tell Big John. When the shit hits the fan I have to say I was so happy that Daisy finally stood up for herself and for her best friend Jasmine. You get to see what little miss Daisy is made of. At times I couldn't control the tears running down my face and at times Daisy's friend Jasmine had me cracking up laughing out loud. The ending was perfect and as always my only complaint is the books aren't long enough. Don't get me wrong, they're complete books they just always leave me wanting more. Lol. I really hope Tory makes the Wild Marauders and the Dark Menace MC's into series also. I highly recommend this series to everyone.
