My first love was my brother’s best friend.
A lead singer in their band.
A picture of rugged perfection.
And a drunk soul mate who couldn’t commit.

My second love was an arrogant baseball player.
A player in every sense of the word.
A smooth-talking, reliable best friend.
And a chance at something beautiful and true.

The problem with having a first and second love?

What is about Ella Fields and angst. She excels at it and also at driving me freaking crazy. Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. My heart and nerves couldn’t take it. Serenading Heartbreak is just that. Heartbreak and hurt but those emotions only come because you feel. You love. And that’s exactly what Stevie did. She loved so fiercely and so deep. She loved two guys and they loved her back.
Serenading Heartbreak is a love triangle and Ella Fields doesn’t hold back telling and exploring Stevie’s jour

I will write a sensible review closer to release but PLEASE get this one on your TBR.

This was an ok read for me. Its hard for me to write this review without spoilers because there’s things that bothered me, but I can’t say them without giving away the plot, so please bear with me.

This is a well written story about Stevie and her love for two men. They both came at different times in her life but in the end she needs to pick only one. The guy she ends up with was not my favorite, but I respect Stevie’s choice even though I didn’t agree with it. This book is very ang

It's no secret that I am a sucker for a good love triangle, so when I heard one of my top fave authors was writing one, it was like music to my ears! (see what I did there *wink*) I knew I was in for a ride because Ella has mastered the ability to bring "all the feels" with her stories, so I knew that this one would do just that. SERENADING HEARTBREAK truly was an emotionally breathtaking story about not only finding your first love, but also being lucky enough to find a second love and then ult

Ella Fields knows how to take the reader on a journey. Even it’s a journey the reader doesn’t necessarily want to go on. I’m that reader. She tests my boundaries and I willingly let her. Her stories are are just that good.

I’m not telling you much about Serenading Heartbreak because you deserve a spoiler-free review. You can kind of piece together a few things from the blurb. I will tell you that Serenading Heartbreak is an amazing but bumpy ride. With characters that were both beautiful and fla

I don’t have the emotional capacity to write a full review right now. I’m still reeling.

This book...poignant, bittersweet, and beautiful.

Thank you so much for gracing us with this story, Ella Fields. It’s perfection.

Longer review to come.

You’re gosh darn right I traded in sleep to stay up and finish this book. No regrets either-this was one of the most beautifully heartbreaking stories I’ve read. I’m truly in awe at just how all around talented this author is-there’s absolutely no one that can stomp on my heart to the point of no recovery, then suddenly revive me to where all is right in the world.
This book was everything. I’m not giving anything away, but just know this was the absolute best love triangle story I have ever rea

Oh man. The feels. This is one of those soul wrenching realistic stories that yanks you in and holds you hostage throughout the entire journey. The characters are somehow all achingly familiar and yet so fresh and different. Each one of them. I knew that I was walking into an angst fest, and yet I still wasn’t prepared. You just can’t prep yourself for that level of intensity, it’s not possible.

You see, this author managed to deliver a new kind of love story. This one entails some seriously agon

‘Do you think you can fall for two different men, I mean really fall for them, and love them both at the same time?’ – Stevie

Stevie Sandrine’s first love was the boy across the street, who just so happened to be her brother’s best friend. Everett Taylor was the bad boy who couldn’t commit. The lead singer in a band, Everett felt like he could never be enough for Stevie. Stevie loved him fiercely, but it was never quite enough. Fast forward a few years and Stevie meets Aiden Prince. I'm so struggling on how to write this review as my emotional capability has been rendered by Ella Fields. Each book of hers is tragically real. It's raw and pulls on your emotions. It makes you read her words and reread the words because they are touching. They make you feel all emotions on the spectrum. Serenading Heartbreak delivered on all of these counts. If you follow me at all, you know I was promoting this book like no other book. Ella is one of my unicorn authors and I devour anything s ...more

One of the best of 2019 and one of my favorites from this author.

I knew going into this story that I was going to be on one hell of an emotional ride. I just was not expecting it to be through Splash Mountain at Disneyland. Holy hell, this book hurt. A LOT. Screw that, this book hurt A WHOLE HELL OF A LOT. This author just took angst to a WHOLE new level. This book is the closest that I have ever come to wanting to flip to the back of the book in order to maybe ease my miserable and conflicted h

I hate myself for reading this book. I hate that I didn’t listen to my brain and yet again, went with what my heart wanted. I’ve told myself countless times “VANESSA YOU’VE ALREADY ESTABLISHED THAT YOU DON’T DO LOVE TRIANGLES! YOU F****ING HATE THEM!” So, if I know that, why did I read this book? Why in the hell would I put myself through this again? I mean, am I a masochist, do I really enjoy pain that much to go through this again? I guess I do, but that’s not the real answer. The real answer ...more

Ella Fields has ruined me. She sliced open my heart with her beautifully tragic words. And I am left with a scar that will forever remind me of the masterpiece called Serenading Heartbreak. The overwhelming feelings choking me and pressing painfully in my chest are the best kind of high you can expect. And it is too much for words. Serenading Heartbreak is an experience. The brutally honest and epic story of love, friendship, sadness and hope is one of the best stories I have ever read.

I had to take a day after finishing this book just so I could process it and be able to write this review.

I know you might have heard this from me before but it's still true - I have never read a love triangle quite like this one. And just to think Ella was afraid it was just gonna be another love triangle like any other... boy she has no idea. This book was I don't even know how to describe was a masterpiece. Serenading Heartbreak

I was curious about threesome written by Ella Fields, so when I saw the blurb of 'Serenading Heartbreak' I know that I must read this book.
And now... I love it!

One day Steve Sandrine met Everett Taylor. She was always thinking that she will have a normal boy and normal life, but this wish was only a dream. Everett stole her heart from the first sight.
Then he become a lead vocal in garage band, where her older brother Hendrix plays.

All of the emotions. Every single one of them. I was instantly drawn in to the story and it kept me wrapped up until the very last page.

This is a story of not just one love but two... at the same time. Stevie meets Everett when she is 15 years old. He's just moved in the house across the street and he became fast friends with her older brother. Everett has things haunting him about his past but he seems too have found some solace with the family acros

God where to start with this review, what a book i would have to say this is one of my favourites for 2019 absolutely loved it all.

I couldn’t put this book down at all read it one sitting and i don’t care that i didn’t finish it way past my bedtime i needed to see what happened. I do have to admit that when it comes to Ella Fields words i just get so sucked in and the way she tells a story is just so beautiful.

This is the first book from this author that has really left me with a broken heart. I love reading love triangles and usually I'm okay with the way they end but I wasn't okay with this ending.

God damn does this author know how to write a f*cking good ass heartbreaking story. I was left in shambles.

I guess I could say I was really torn by her two love interests. I get why she was so hung up one guy more than the other but I felt like she didn't give one of them the chance he deserved at all and

Fighting For Forever Love
An angst-filled romance about love and letting go. Get ready to put your life on hold while you become consumed by this heart-wrenching love triangle. The author delivered a story that will keep invading your thoughts long after you turn the last page.

Stevie never imagined she could love two men. When her heart was taken by her first love and then smashed, she never thought she could love another. She learned the hard way that your heart just grows. Love has no bounds. H

This book is breathtaking!! To me Ella Fields has done it again. Ella unfolds this story that will captivate you with so much heart and emotions. This book is full of so much angst and I felt like my heart was going to beat out of my chest with wanting to know what was going to happen. You know the book is phenomenal when you start it in the evening and can't put it down and you fall asleep after 4:00 am.

It's been a few days since I finished this emotional and heartbreaking story, and I still don't know how to properly convey in words how I feel. Especially because I struggled with this story at times, and that has never happened to me with an Ella Fields book.

I did enjoy this story - but I couldn't get to the point where I loved it. And trust me - I really wanted to. And I think it's because the person that truly held Stevie's heart and soul wasn't my favorite. Both men hurt her and walked awa

Well there goes my heart. Ella Fields just delivered one of the best love triangle books I've ever read. Can true love a exist with more than just one person? Ab-so-lute-ly!!

Unlike with other love triangle books, I loved our heroine, Stevie. I want this girl to be my bestie so I can experience it all with her. So many feels. So many damn emotions. The author didn't write a book about easy love, but she delivered a book about the brutality that love sometimes delivers.

I loved Everett, and I love

Life and Love are messy.
It's easy to pretend that it's not when romance novels tell you about the hot, sexy, charming, sweet alpha males.
This is why I adore Ella Fields' stories. They are real and ugly and messy and you don't always feel great about them or the decisions that the characters make but somehow by the end, you just know it ended the way it should be.
This story was no different. There are no good/bad guys. There are enough bad decisions to go around. It pulls on your heartstrings. My

Everett and Stevie’s story trore me up from the inside out. I couldn’t have imagined this story ending the way it did. The whole story from beginning to end made me cry and want to scream at my kindle. I think I even threatened to throw it after reading certain parts of this fantastic book. I could feel Stevie’s pain and torment for loving two men at the same time.

This story deals with a lot of different life situations that leave you wondering how they got to where they are with all that happe

The Queen of angst has struck again!! Gah, I know when Ella releases a new book I need to prepare myself for heart palpitations and a box of tissues. She didn’t disappoint with Serenading Heartbreak. My emotions were all over the place. One minute I’m rooting for one guy and another the next. Normally, I know who I want to end up together but I was so torn throughout this book. Ultimately, the ending I was rooting for didn’t happen but I’m 100% satisfied with the way Stevie’s story did end. I th ...more

I was not ready for the crying and I’m talking sobbing. I knew it was going to be angst filled, but damn my heart was in my throat for most of this.

The saying you always hurt the one you love, the one you shouldn’t hurt at all. is so true with this story. Love can be both a great source of happiness and deep sadness for people.

Seriously Pat Benatar says it best Love is a Battlefield. Truly look at the lyrics and it fits so well with this story.

Ella you broke me numerous times with this story.
