Eliza: My life is perfect. I have a luxurious apartment and my dream job. I also have a sister willing to sign me up for a dating app against my better judgment. I promise her one week before the app is deleted forever. All it takes is one week before I’m matched with two amazing men and my perfect life becomes a perfect disaster. Murphy: I needed a drastic change and I got it. My move from the middle of nowhere to the city lands me in a classy part of town with an upscale job. All I need is a personal life to match. So, I join the masses and download an app.A match with the woman of my dreams has me considering a future. The only problem is that I’m not the only one wanting to make her mine. After all, 425 Madison is the perfect place to fall in love!
Just Swipe Right is the third book in the 425 Madison series, and it’s a great addition to the series. If you have enjoyed the prior books in the series, you need to give this one a read. If you have yet to read the prior books, know this one works perfectly fine as a standalone novel.
Before starting Just Swipe Right, I was a wee bit tentative. I’m not the biggest lover of love triangles and feared this one would fall into the trap that leaves me unable to deal with them. Fortunately, this one was well done. We did not get lots of pointless drama, we had minimal back and forth, and I was more than happy to devour the story as it played out.
In fact, I devoured Just Swipe Right in no time at all. It was an insanely addictive little story, one that sucked me in deep and refused to let go. It was sweet and fun, leaving me curious about the author’s other work. In addition to continuing the 425 series, I’m going to have to have a look at Allie York’s other work.
Without a doubt, this is perfect for those wanting an enjoyable quick read.
I have really enjoyed the 425 Madison Avenue books I've read so far and this one definitely joins the ranks as a great one!
I loved the premise of using a dating app to find Mr./Ms. Right. Plus this book had a Relationship Columnist, A Chef, an ugly dog and a H and h with senses of humor. Perfect recipe for a great book.
There was a bit of a love triangle or maybe even square (lol) being that both Eliza and Murphy were seeing another person while seeing each other. But honestly in this day and age that felt normal/acceptable and nobody was bed hoping so it worked well in the story.
I'm so glad I gave this author and book a try, I'll be back for more from her and also the 425 Madison Ave series!
A very sweet light read. A good plot and interesting characters. I wish they would have had a little more emotion. They were kinda boring people. The love scenes were not very steamy. The H/H seemed to lack chemistry. I like my H a little more alpha although Murphy was my favorite character. Eliza came across as indecisive and a little weak. The sisters lived in a very upscale building ( the whole premise of the series) but no mention on how they could afford a million $ apartment. Same with the ending. How could the couple afford their new place? The lack of detail and emotion in the book left me wanting more. What happened to the threats made by Stuart?

Allie York has written a fantastic, romantic, and cute novel about a big handsome chef named Murphy and an advice columnist named Eliza. Piper, Eliza’s sister (and roommate) talks her into downloading a dating app to meet men, whereas, Murphy decides to give it a try after hearing about it from his best friend and roommate, Derek. Eliza and Murphy meet randomly several times, often walking their dogs, and finally match up on the app. However, they each meet other people also, making things a bit complicated despite the instant ease and chemistry between them.
I loved Murphy! I mean, loved this man, lol! He was sweet, kind, romantic, sexy, and most of all – exercised a great deal of patience. I liked Eliza also, but couldn’t help but worry that she would break poor Murphy’s heart once everything was said and done.
The secondary characters were also amazing, although Piper confused me at times, quickly going from encouraging Eliza to date multiple men to pressuring her to dump Stuart and just date Murphy. And the twist with Derek at the end was absolute perfection 🙂
Just Swipe Right is a light-hearted and romantic read that further enhances the 425 Madison series. My only complaint at all, and this is minor, would be that the resolution seemed a bit rushed. I went from being sad thinking that Eliza and Murphy wouldn’t work out, to being even sadder worrying about her little, ugly dog Dudley, to realizing that there was a perfect “happily-ever-after” ending in a very quick time frame. Nevertheless, I loved this one and highly recommend it to fans of contemporary romance with a touch of humor. If you’re a dog lover, even better!

Eliza has the perfect life, or so she thinks, she spends her days penning an advice column and spends her nights enjoying her luxurious apartment. But her sister thinks she is missing a vital part of her life, a love life, and she is determined to convince Eliza that using the dating app she signed her up for is the perfect remedy to that situation. Eliza has her reservations about using the app, but after her profile begins to light up with hits, she begins to see the appeal, and starts the dating game. Never expecting it to bring her not one, but two suitors who want to make her their someone special!
Eliza and Murphy's quest to find love captured my attention right from the start and had me flying right through the pages, and staying up well past my bedtime because I could not wait to see how their story would end! Just Swipe Right is a perfectly crafted love story that satisfies on all fronts, it comes with heat to curl the toes, emotion to tug on your heartstrings, and humor that'll have you smiling throughout! This was an impressive first read and wonderful addition to the 425 Madison series, highly recommend!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
This entertaining read had a cute plot, likable characters a plenty of emotions. I really liked Murphy and Eliza. I could easily feel their attraction to each other and the heat of their chemistry. I think fate and I would 100% agree that they were perfect together. The romance blooming between them was funny, sweet and genuine. I adored Dudley and Dozer the lovable dogs form the book and thought that Eliza's sister Piper and Murphy's best friend, Derek (who grew on me) added a lot to the story. I was not a huge fan of the whole Other Guy vying for Eliza's affections. Not because I am a prude but because the way it was written made me think Eliza was somewhat shallow. His appeal was all about being "The Shiny Dream Guy" and not based on what was right in front of her face. For me this threw some serious shade on what should have been an epic, predestined love story. Of my own choice I am posting a truthful review.
Just Swipe Right is the 3rd book in the 425 Madison Avenue Series, each book in the series has been penned by different authors. Book 3 was written by Allie York & it was the first book I have read by this author and I would be inclined to read other books by this author after reading this one. Just Swipe Right isn't as steamy as the first two books in this series but it's guaranteed to get readers smiling. Since it was easy to connect with the H&h, I wish it didn't take so long for these two to get to their HEA or I wish the book was a bit long so the reader was able to see where their HEA is headed. If you are looking for insta-lust & a steamy heat the pages read this one probably isn't for you. BUT, if you are looking for that slow burn, sweet romance with a swoon-worthy HEA, definitely one-click Just Swipe Right by Allie York, book 3 in the 425 Madison Avenue series. I did receive an advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my own opinion with my voluntary review.
Eliza and Murphy are just what we needed to read. A fun book about online dating. Just Swipe Right is so fun and there are dogs :) dogs make books better.
I loved so many things about this book. I loved the accidental meetings and I loved how Eliza was hopeful with every date she had and those all made me laugh lol. It made me super glad to be married and not put in this crazy dating world.
I’m not going to say anything more but it is a must read book in the 425 Madison Ave series.
SPILERS: It was alright, a nice quick read which for the most part was okay. My one big problem was Stuart's character. First off he really wasn't all that but until suddenly he was super aggresive right at the end, which honestly came out of nowhere. His behavior didn't really build up to that kind of reaction. Also, even though he got really aggressive and threatened towards Elizaat the end there, he didn't follow through at all. He kind of just dissapeared at the end there and nothing came from his threats. It was kind of weak there.
Much better than book two. Eliza and Murphy are a cute couple who keep running into each other and end up meeting on a dating app. They are both dating other people as well. While Murphy knows right off he really only wants to date Eliza he still dates Alicia for some strange reason. Eliza also is dating Stuart who she really likes but you can tell she gets a kinda hinky vibe from. Aside from them both dating multiple people and sleeping with each other right away I enjoyed their relationship. Eliza took too long to figure out Stuart was a douche though. Loved the dogs and her advice column.
This is my third book to read in this series and I have to say this is my favorite so far. I loved Eliza and Murphy, such great characters. I loved the secondary characters as well as the dogs. So funny. what I liked about this book is that it is so true to life. Really is a great book, I enjoyed it. Can't wait for the other books in this series.
This series makes my heart happy. The characters are lovable and their journey easy to follow. I loved Eliza and Murphy in this newest release that didn’t disappoint. It’s relatable, real and overall a wonderful read. I loved the flow of the storyline and fell in love with their story. I can’t wait to see what story the author writes next.
What an absolutely wonderful read! It is inevitable at this day and age that technology will help us meet our perfect match. Murphy and Eliza both have meddling significant others and signed them up for a dating site. What happens to each of their dates is a fun read with some laugh out love moments. Highly recommend this wonderful story!
I fell hardcore for Murphy right off the bat! I kept yelling at Eliza to just pick Murphy, but you’ll have to read it to see if she truly picks Murphy or if she goes with stuffy, rich Stuart! Dudley is probably my favorite, poor ugly little dog ❤️
Really enjoyed this book read it on one day The story line with Eliza and Murphy was good and a happy ending So far the 425 Madison series has not disappointed I recommend this book
I love reading all of the books from 425 Madison Avenue. I was glad to see she picked Murphy instead of Stuart. Piper found love with Murphy's best friend.
Good quick read as a "filler" between books. Small books like these help me out of a reading slump when reading other books. Love the storyline & the advice column bit.
A look into the wonderful world of online dating through the eyes of Eliza. Forced to join a dating app by her sister, Eliza decides to use her experiences for research. I enjoyed the sweet way Eliza found love
Just Swipe Right is book three in the 425 Madison Avenue series. I absolutely loved it! The authors in this series have all been really good. They make you feel like you actually live in the building.
When Eliza is coerced into dating through an app, she meets two different men that she has a connection with. But how will she ever choose between them? There's sweet, swoony Murphy and wealthy, commanding Stuart. Whom to choose?
This is a sweet, cute rom-com. It's not super deep or particularly steamy, but the characters, especially Murphy, are likable (make that lovable in Murphy's case) and fun. This series so far is a big win, can't wait for more of 425 Madison!
