The heart revs harder with gasoline in the veins.

Tesla’s love for dancing runs deeper than her toleration of her father’s MC lifestyle. That’s why she left the Razorblade Tumbleweeds motorcycle club in the first place. The academy seemed like her best bet, but all that fire in her heart and hatred in her soul keeps her dancing in a fit of rage instead of elegant grace. Realizing she can’t escape her past, she heads home to try and face all the heartache she thought she’d left behind.

Link is the new President of his MC. It’s been years since Tesla, the princess to the Razorblade Tumbleweed throne, stomped out of his world on her way to dance for fancy rich folks under bright spotlights. Of course, when things didn’t work out, she headed home. Now, not only does he need to harness all those hidden desires, he also has to help her with her new strip club idea, which means pissing off the locals, the cops, a rival MC, and some sick and twisted reverend from a religious cult.

Rye is about to turn eighteen, and in his religious community of Red Chapel, that means he can start to choose his wives. Life seems good until he finds out the young woman he loves more than anything in the world is betrothed to The Reverend, their sadistic religious leader with an insatiable appetite for power, pain, and pleasure. His only escape seems to be that ruthless band of outlaws he’s always been warned about. If he can only convince Grace to join him and Link to accept him.

Bikers, strippers, and religious zealots collide to create the Calm’s Storm.

Love is not always patient. Love is not always kind. It cuts deep, and it scars. It sometimes hardens a fragile heart. CM Genovese spins sexy tales that pair bad boy alpha males with tough, wild, and feisty women. Both with quick tongues and fiery tempers. Neither with a hint of inhibition. Real romance doesn't take place on rose petals. It happens on the hood of a car. This is romance in the raw.

If you haven't already, go pick up a copy of Anger's Fade, a free prequel to the Razorblade Tumbleweeds MC series by clicking here: Anger's Fade

Under the pen name Chris Genovese, I write romantic books that aren't quite as dark. Under the pen name Carver Pike, I write horror and dark fantasy. So, CM Genovese is right in the middle. It's edgy, gritty romance.

How do you make a MC HEA mix with a slightly gore-ish horror story work? Just ask CM Genovese. I've read MC books and there is violence and blood and bad people doing bad things. Then there is this book. The secondary story line is so twisted it's brilliant how they come together.
The characters - Link, Tesla, Grace, Rye tell their story in such detail and description it's like you're right there in the book with them. Chris is a natural at creating a world that draws you in and shake you up.
I love Tesla. As her name suggests, she's pretty electric, fiery. She's everything I want to be when I grow up. Sexy, smart, bad a$$.
Link is like the guy who brings it all together; Tesla, the brothers of the club, the outside influences that have an effect on the club. He is relentless in his pursuit of making everything work and will go to the ends of the earth for the people he loves. His motor is always revving because his dipstick is always wet. lol
Tesla and Link have a past but they ignore the inevitable causing lots of built up sexual tension and frustration on both their parts.
Rye, like the bread, is grainy. He's conflicted. He's rebellious against his religious way of life but not sure about his new life, at least initially.
Grace is like an angel. She's got a light that shines from within her. She's on a course toward a horrible life but one of obligation until Rye gets her out of that life and brings her along with him to a new freedom.
There's lots of great supporting characters in T-bone, Frankie, Peg, and Piston. They add a good dose of comic relief in those times of tension and seriousness.
This is a book you can not put down. It's well paced; not to fast, not too slow - actually I can't recall a slow spot in the book. I was always wanting, needing, to find out what was going to happen next.

HOLY COW, I can’t begin to tell you how captivating Calm’s Storm is. What an amazing MC ride. It’s jammed packed with intrigue, excitement and packing enough heat to set the pages on fire. It’s emotionally explosive, filled with characters that will come to life right before your eyes. This is a very well written storyline that will capture heart and have you rooting for the Razorback Tumbleweeds and those who lives they touch. We not only deal with the personal lives and struggles of Tesla and Link but the brewing troubles with a rival club, the Brimstone MC and the Red Chapel Compound.

Tesla is the Princess of the Razorback Tumbleweeds MC who left the MC lifestyle to become a dancer. Leaving her father and Link, the man of her dreams, behind. But when she doesn’t make it as a dancer she returns home to get the money her father left her upon his death. But she soon learns the money comes with stipulation that she stays home and lives the MC life and earn a monthly allowance. But Tesla doesn’t want the MC life, she wants to open a strip club with her friend Frankie. Her staying and living at the clubhouse seeing Link with a steady flow of women in his bed is something she just can’t imagine doing. Little does she know Link has lusted after her for years. Link wants her to stay but more than that he wants Tesla for his own. But can these two stubborn souls figure out they are meant to be?

While this is going on we have Rye and Grace. These kids have been born and raised inside the Red Chapel Compound. They are only allowed outside the gates on Saturday to sale their wares in order to pay the Knock Knock Man (the guy that knocks on their door to collect the Reverend’s dues). It’s at a Saturday fair that Rye meets Link. Rye starts to question the only lifestyle he has ever known. Especially when he accidently sees what the Reverend does behind close doors. When his girl, Grace, is chosen to be another of the Reverend’s wifes, Rye loses it. He convinces Grace to run away with him. When the stumble upon what they think is a bar they meet Tesla. When she hears their story, she knows she has to help them, as the Reverend has already threatened her and her club.

This book is full of action. The Red Chapel and the Brimstone MC may get a fight when they threaten the brotherhood of the Razorback Tumbleweed MC. But when they threaten their Club Princess and their women they’ll get an all out war. Is it one they can win and come through unscathed? Will the Reverend’s Flock find Rye and Grace and bring them home? When Tesla and Link finally get together fireworks happen and they become a force to be reckoned with. I can’t begin to tell you how amazing a read this book is. I can only suggest you grab it up and do so ASAP. This is a start to what looks to be a phenomenal series, one you don’t want to miss out on. 5 HUGE STARS (I’d give it 20+ if I could) and 2 Thumbs Up for this Absolute Must Read.

h runs away from MC’s life, H (already having feelings for h) did not do anything, H did not chase her not fight for her, instead, to mend his broken heart, fucked a whore for three years straight, saying he had no feelings for the whore but appraising her pussy all the time and still doing it when h comes back. H still fucked the whore and other women with the hypocrite excuse he is fucking out h image, not my cup of tea. H is a fucking cheating bastard, coward, hypocrite, etc. etc. h is a dormant to take back H and forgiving him so easily when he did not even chase her or fight for their “undying” love, forgave him for fuck around when they had already feelings for each other. NOT NOT NOT.

What an interesting twist to an MC story - club rivalries are expected, then throw in a Religious Cult. This story although mostly about Link and Tesla provided wonderful incite to the rest of the club brothers as well as Tesla's friends.

This book kept me interested throughout the entire story and I read it in one sitting. Now I'm curious to see if the pairings that I am predicting will happen the way I expect or if there will be surprises along the way.

This is my first book by Chris Genovese/CM Genovese and I look forward to seeing where he takes the Razorback Tumbleweeds next.

Raw and Unexpected

This is the first time Chris Genovese is gearing towards the MC book world and he absolutely blew my mind and most definitely found his spot in the MC world. This book has it all...romance, mayhem, alphas and the very unexpected. On top of it all its raw and gritty. Written from 3 points of view this book will take you on a rollercoaster ride. Although the story is written about a MC a second story evolves within the book introducing Red Chapel, a religious cult that takes mind control and torture to a whole new level. The way this book is written and on how the two worlds collide is genius. Just when you think you know where the story is going another twist is thrown in that will leave you speechless. Calm's Storm clearly shows how versatile Chris Genovese is as a writer. He can write any genre and give you a book that will blow your mind. Absolutely phenomenal!

Amazing start to this new series

How do you know when a book is hitting all the right spots? When you read it the second it downloads to your kindle and don’t stop until you’re done.

Link and Tesla’s story is gritty, dirty and romantic in that MC way. No hearts and rainbows for this couple. CM Genovese does a great job painting the picture of what life is like in the Razorblade Tumbleweeds MC. There’s no sugar coating here.

The story CM Genovese has laid out with all of the MC members, cops and dancers has left me wanting to hear more about each character and where they fit into the puzzle

Ryes is my guy. I want the best for him and Grace. They are the sunshine in the gray skies of the MC.

The Reverend and his followers are disturbing characters I need to know more about. What and why were the questions running through my head while reading.

A fabulous start to his new series.

A MC, love story, rival club, and religious cult all this is combined in this authors first book in this series and it was the ingredients for a awesome book. There was moments of wanting to beat characters, and there was moments of wanting to hold characters to help them through life. This book had it all and then some. Each of the characters were developed to where you want more of them, and that didn't only go for the main characters it went fort he supporting characters also. I love it when I find myself wanting to physically hurt one of the characters, because that means I am invested in the story and the characters in it. And well that is what I found myself doing while reading this one.
I have read quite a few MC series over the years and I will say this will be a series that I will be wanting more of.

Calm's Storm, the title alone exudes the motif at hand. An adjective which possesses a noun is cleaver and truthful. He does the same with the prequel, Anger's Fear. Genius! The titles exude a sophistication which traditionally is not seen in many works. He not only breathes life into the titles, but he also hits the literary home run with them.

Link and Tesla's unique relationship presents a paradox of sorts. Link exemplifies confidence with all that his lawless, restless, and unrefined behaviors. While Tesla shows promise, purity in an unpure society, and freedom. Their ties create a bond which holds the glue together for the MC, but is it strong enough when you throw in a cult, runaways, and a plethora of business deals which could be powder kegs with one misstep? The brilliance in CM Genovese's details and infusion of literary tricks makes this a read not worth missing!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC. This book is unlike any other MC book I've read. It was beautifully written. My review won't do this book justice. Absolutely mind blowing. All the characters are great but I really love Tess. I've never reread books but this one is worthy of that. This book will cause a book hangover. A few words to describe this book are compelling, riveting, intriguing, page turner. Will keep you hooked from the very first page until the end and leave you wanting more. Good thing there are more coming and I plan to read every single one of them. This became my all time favorite MC series. There's even a few unexpected twists in there. Again, read it to find out.

This is the first book I’ve read from CM Genovese and can I say WOW!! Just WOW!! The first book of the Razorblade Tumbleweeds MC was extremely gripping and intense. When I first started it I was a little confused as to how the characters Rye and Grace and the Red Chapel were going to fit into this MC story. I was completely blown away by how well it blended together as the story line progressed. Link and Tess are wonderful characters and I love how strong they are. And trust me when I say that their strength is needed when the Red Chapel decides to take matters into their owns hands.

Just wow!!!

Calm's Storm is by far better than five stars. This book had me spellbound to each page. Link is the alpha President of the Razorblade Tumbleweeds MC that is loyal to his club and the people that are important to him. Tesla is strong and determined to make her dream come true. The sizzle between these two is off the charts. The romance is hot and gritty. The mc action kept me on the edge of my seat with all the unpredictable twist and turns. There's characters I loved, characters I hated, and some I just wanted killed off. I want more of all the brothers. Great job. Just added another favorite author to my must have list.

I thought this book was freaking AWESOME!
I was completely hooked from the first chapter straight up until the very end of the story!
This was my first time reading anything by Mr. Genovese and I gotta say I’ll be checking out his other books under his other name Chris Genovese because I want to see if they are as good as this book is.
So it’s a big HECK YEAH I most definitely do recommend this book to anyone who’s searching for a fantastic story to crawl into and get completely lost within its pages.

Fantastic read

This story is just WOW. You get drawn in this world and held tight. Each character has you loving them. This is one journey you don't want to miss. I usually fall head over heels with the guys, but this time it's Tesla. She is one awesome chick. The writing and flow of this book is remarkable. I absolutely recommend this book.

If you are looking for a safe read? This is not your book.
This book is down right dangerous, it is raw, dark, gritty, extreme, steamy.

Begins with two dual stories, intertwining becoming one.
POV from, Link, Tesla and Rye..

Writing so vividly you see a mental picture, as you turn each page.
The story keeps you on the edge, until the very end...

This is a good story but is a little confusing to follow at first and has a slow start. Your reading about Link & Tesla and then it goes to Rye & Grace but, as the story goes on it starts to blend together and picks up. It does end with a cliffhanger but still a good story.

I finished but boy was that something and not in a good way. This was all over the place, random thoughts from characters, and just plain stupid at times. I am honestly surprised that I finished it. Well, to be honest I probably skimmed the last 30%.

WOW.... this one is a bit different than most MC romance that I've read. Some good stuff and some that I really didn't like. This is raw and dirty.

Tesla is the MC princess who is ready to leave it all behind and go to dance school. All it would take is the older man and VP Link to ride in and declare his love for her and she wouldn't leave. Needless to say she went to school. He never even showed up.

Link has been there for Tesla like a big brother since she was a young teen. A drunk dad who was the president and a mother who was too high to take care of her daughter. Not long before Tesla went to dance school is when Link really noticed she had grew up into a beautiful woman.

What I didn't like was even though Link was trying to get into Tesla's pants he was still having sex with another other woman. The men in the club cheat and can have girlfriends there but Old ladies and wives are not welcomed.

I did like that Link was a different person with Tesla and wanted out of the illegal stuff. He says he is a faithful man but who knows later on.

The more I think about the way things are in the clubhouse it makes me not want to read the next book but at the same time I'm curious if things might change.

Okay so I know I am late with this series, but seriously I’m trying to catch up on my TBR list. Don’t judge me I have seen or heard about your list. Calm’s Storm is the first one in the Razorblade Tumbleweed MC series. And holy hell I’m not surprised I loved it one bit. Seriously C.M. Genovese gave me my love of the genre back to me. What I loved so much about this book besides the phenomenal writing is all the characters that come into play. The bikers, the crazy lunatics, the world in which Genovese created. So many worlds coincide with this book that you get a look into each of them. Link and Telsa story was slow burning, and honestly I’m glad it was, because if it wasn’t I don’t think I would have been gung ho about it. Even though this could be read as a standalone I have my theories for what is next to come and might be holloring and swearing soon enough. This book kept me on my toes and had me yelling hell yeah. Well I had to keep it clean but you know what I mean. If you haven’t picked up this series or haven’t read anything by this author for sure check him out and see why he is in my top three favorites.

Wow. Just ~ wow. I am completely blown away and captivated by this new MC writer and his new series. LOVED IT!!! I’m hooked and will definitely be following this new series.

A lot of books are coming out with dual point of views (POV) now but this is one of the very, very few I’ve read that contains 3 different POVs. This may sound confusing but this talented writer pulls it off so that there is absolutely no confusion to the story and you actually get an even better story by having it written and “seen” through three completely different characters.

I was afforded the opportunity to read the prequel, Anger’s Fade, which was a brief introduction into the new series. That initially captured my attention and had me wanting to read more from this author and their venture into the MC series world.

Me, being an MC book addict myself, I am always cautious when trying new writers of MC because it takes a special talent to pull it off without it looking as though they are trying too hard or that they have no idea what an MC addict likes in their bad boy books. This author pulled off brilliantly.

Tesla ~ What can I say about this MC princess? She desperately tried to get away from the MC and become a professional dancer but she never quite fit in and never made the cut. Devastated, she comes home only to collect the money her late father had put aside for her should this happen. She’s ready to start her own business now and follow a new dream.

But once she gets there she finds out that there are certain “conditions” to getting this money. She has to stay there and make the club and those in it her family, her home. She was not happy about it in any way, but in order to start her own business she had to do it this way. What made it even worse was that the man she had a crush on as a girl and grew to love as a teenager was the guardian to the money, the new club President and was currently shacked up with a girl she used to call friend.

Link ~ He was locked up the day Tesla ran off to dance school to pursue her dreams. He didn’t regret how he ended up in jail ~ saving Brozie, Tesla’s father and MC President, from ending up there the night before she left but he did regret not having the chance to say goodbye because he really wanted to ask her to stay.

3 years later, she’s back and getting under his skin in a way no woman before ever had and he’s not happy about it. He had the perfect life...come and goes as he pleases, climbing into bed with whoever he wanted (but mostly with Mel), no one or nothing to worry about except the club and his brothers. Until Tesla waltzes back into his life and blows it all up.

Rye ~ Rye grew up in what is really a deadly, religious cult. He was ok living in the Red Chapel with his family and their god-fearing ways because he had Grace. He grew up and fell in love with her and was waiting for when he could pledge his love to her and ask her to be his first wife. Yes, I said first wife. (Cult, remember?) But he wasn’t quite fitting the mold and began questioning if he would or could take other wives and also if he could share Grace with The Reverend, their religion leader, should he demand it. But once he finds out what The Reverend has planned for Grace, he knows they must escape. But to where, and how? Could he try the bad motorcycle guy who spoke with him once at Saturday market? They were the only people who he knew lived close by.

This book has it all. Love, betrayal, action, bad boys with guns and bikes, brotherhood and a strip club. What else can I ask for? Oh yeah, the next book!! LOL I am thrilled at having found this series and know I will be a definite one-click fan for the remainder of this series. Now, what to do until the next book comes out... 🤔

Slow start for me, then BOOM!

This was a slow start for me, I got a little worried, was this going to be another Hades Hangmen? No, it's not. Razor blade Tumbleweeds stands on its own. This is a gripping and gritty MC story. I recommend it to readers who like the dreadful anticipation if a character will cheat or stay loyal, or even if they will live or die. The author offers many points of view and I feel he does so very skillfully! Each characters thoughts were unique to them. I'm really looking forward to reading the entire series.

Tesla’s love for dancing runs deeper than her toleration of her father’s MC lifestyle. That’s why she left the Razorblade Tumbleweeds motorcycle club in the first place. Link is the new President of his MC. It’s been years since Tesla, the princess to the Razorblade Tumbleweed throne, stomped out of his world on her way to dance for fancy rich folks under bright spotlights. Rye is about to turn eighteen, and in his religious community of Red Chapel........His only escape seems to be that ruthless band of outlaws he’s always been warned about.

Telsa was the princess of the Razorblade Tumbleweed. Unfortunately while growing up in the MC world she saw a lot of things she did not like. She started crushing on Link when she was younger but as she grew up that crush developed into feelings. The problem was Link had a long list of women warming his bed. If there was one thing Telsa knew about the club, its that the members were not faithful. Their ole lady's had to either deal with it or leave. But Telsa knew she could not live like that. She ran away to become a dancer. When things didn't go as planned, she had no choice but to come back home.

Link always watched over and protected Telsa when she was younger. Unfortunately as she came of age and turned into a woman, his feelings started to change. She brought light into their MC's world, especially with Link and her father. When Telsa left she took her sunshine wither her. Link felt she turned her back on the club. A few years went bye before she even came back. Even then Telsa just wanted to get what belonged to her and keep moving. Only things did not go as planned.

Zach was raised behind gated walls in a religious community known as the Red Chapel. He has always questioned things, but kept saying their mantra to help stay on the righteous path. He has been in love with his childhood friend Grace for years. Zach is coming of age and is preparing to ask for Grace to be his wife. Unfortunately, the Reverend chose Grace to be one of his many wives. Zazh is furious. Especially after seeing how the Reverend uses the other women of the community in sexual ways. Zach decides to leave and must take Grace with him.

This book was definitely five stars for me. I finished it in one night because I refused to go to bed before seeing how everything played out. I was on the edge of my seat for so many different parts of this book. I loved the members of the MC. They were all like big kids with a deadly side. The joked around a lot, but the always had each other back. The back and forth between Telsa and Link was fun to read at times. My biggest issue was the whole unprotected sex part. I mean really, how irresponsible is it to walk around having sex with multiple partners without wearing a condom. There was love, sex and plenty of action in this book. There seems to be a number of loose ends and unknowns that I cannot wait to read about. I don;t want to say this book had a major cliffhanger, but there is definitely some unresolved issues. I cannot wait to read the next book.

"If the club's involved, it'll be a lot easier for you. You know that."
"Right. I just have to sell my soul to the devil."
"Is that what I am?"
"No,"
"Then stop sending me to hell."

Let me start by saying this: I was never a fan of MC books. I knew they were popular with a lot of people, and I even read a few at the urging of friends. I never got it. Never connected with any of the characters. Never made it past book one. That. Stops. Right. Now! I absolutely loved this one! Link and Tesla are the bomb!! I couldn't put this one down and was glued to my Kindle!

Tesla grew up in the biker life - booze, sex, violence, drugs, and when she left the club - left HIM- to pursue her dreams of dancing, she intended it to be for good. Now, frustrated at her lack of success, she's returning to the one place she swore she never would - back to the club. She just needs the money her father left her, and she'll be gone again - starting over. But, Fate has a strange way of taking any plans you have and scrambling them up like eggs in a blender. Her inheritance comes with conditions. Ones involving staying, which means, she'll have to face him. Link. She's always loved him, but she could never just be a notch in his bedpost. No, her man, when she finds him, will be all in, or not at all. Something he could never be. How long can she convince herself to keep her distance from Link? When she's on the verge of losing everything, is he helping her out of duty? Or love?

Link, President of the Razorblade Tumbleweeds MC club, watched Tess grow up. He always looked out for her. And now, she's back. All grown up and sexier than ever. Feelings he has no right having come flooding back, but he's no good for her. He needs to keep his distance, but the more time he spends with her, the more difficult it's becoming. She's one of them - one of the RZBT. He'll protect her at all costs, even if it means giving his life. When her life is threatened, that might just be what he does.

There is so much more to this story than an unrequited love rekindled. There's war with a rival MC club, a bizarre religious cult with a vicious leader with a kink of his own, runaway lovers, betrayal, lies, bloodshed, gunfire, death and mayhem! And lest we forget the hot and steamy scenes brought to us by Link. Holy Hannah!! What a wild ride!! I absolutely loved this book!! Did I say that already? Well, I'm going to say it again, and again, and again!! I have a mighty need for book two as soon as humanly possible! Maybe I wasn't reading the right MC books before, but I sure as heck am now!!

This review will be based off both Anger's Fade, the prequel to this series, as well as Calm's Storm. I am adding the review to the prequel because it's not actually on Goodreads, or any other site I could find.

First of all, I don't think I could love this series any more than I do. Seriously. From page one in both books, I was hooked. Completely transported into the story. The writing was absolutely incredible and the story line was perfect. I've read a lot of MC books, they are kind of my guilty pleasure, but this one really takes the cake. This was a whole other level of awesome that I can hardly put into words.

This books were about Tess and Link. Link had watched Tess grow up, he was quite a bit older than he was and always felt the need to take care of them. Naturally, when she became an adult, he realized she had grown into a beautiful woman and that he actually he had feelings for her. But then she leaves. Runs away to some dance academy and leaves him before he even had the chance to explore what could have been. Fast forward a few years and Tess returns, completely throwing Link's life into a tailspin. Yes, it does have the typical, they love each other but won't tell each other they love each other and instead they push each other away, but it was done in such a way that it wasn't tedious or annoying. It was perfect. I LOVED this story.

There is sex, blood, violence, and cussing (It's an MC novel what do you expect?) but none of it is over done. It's all written so well that you just have to turn the page to find out what happens. I even almost dropped my kindle into a pot of boiling water while I was cooking dinner because I could not stop reading it.

I'll admit, for a while I was actually burnt out on MC novels because they all seemed to have the same dynamic. This one has completely blown me away and has re-sparked my love for MC books. Will DEFINITELY be reading the rest in the series!

5 out of 5 stars (Though I'd give a hundred or more if I could!)

This story was amazing! I had read the prequel so I was all geared up and anxious to dive into Calm's Storm...I had to find out what happens with Tes!

The author took me on a journey of emotions- from laughing out loud (which scared my elderly mom and animals) to lusty yearnings, biting my nails from drama and danger- and had me thinkin "YEAH! HANDLE THAT $#!+"

Calm's Storm is about the Razorblades MC (don't call it a gang! It doesn't go over well! 😂) The members, the princess, the lifestyle.
Add a side story of a religious cult and you get a bunch of "oh CRAP!" moments that had me stuck! I mean...when my kindle died I went straight to my phone and used the kindle app! You know how your kindle has the whispersync setting so you can listen to the book while u make dinner or what have you? That crazy robotic voice that kinda drives you nuts? Yeah...that voice didn't bother me at ALL! I listened to this story and was completely enthralled!

Did you watch Sons of Anarchy? Did you like it? If your answer is yes...you should totally read this book! Well..even if you didn't watch S.O.A...you should read this book! I can soooo see this as a series! I am so ready for the next book! I need to know...about...well..yeah...it's not a cliffy... but it is one that left me with a "OH SNAP!"

Just go 1-click this now...Link and Tes and the rest of the Razorblades are waiting for you! Oh..and let's not forget the Reverend and Rye!
I'll let in on a lil secret - I was kinda really into the Reverand...I mean..don't get me wrong...Link and all the guys are definitely hot and drool worthy and Rye's heart...yeah, melted me...but in the beginning, the Rev...I was all like "Yep! Sign me up!"
Hahaha...wanna know more? Yep - you got it...ya gotta 1-click this bad boy!
You know you like bad boys!

First, I want to thank CM Genovese for providing me with this book so I may bring you with this review.

Calm’s Storm Razorblade Tumbleweeds MC Book 1 By CM Genovese was a unique title for this book. I found it was more razorblade tumbleweed feel than any calm storm. CM Genovese was a new author for me to read and I was very excited to try out a new author. His style was unlike I had ever read before and was not quite used to. That being said I read this with an open mind.

I will have to warn the readers though that this book has a lot of swearing and a lot of sexual language in it. I can handle that but some readers may not. Also, this book has story lines of polygamy and the husband is that of a Reverend. Sort of like a cult. There are explicit sex acts of him in a church with a rope around her neck. He looks as if he is about to strangle her to death. Some of these scenes were hard to read. If you are a religious person you may be very offended by this book as he talks about God and blood. This book is not for the faint at heart.

I really did like the character Grace. She had Blue eyes and Strawberry Blonde hair like me. She also did drawings. She seemed sweet and innocent. However, she was going to be the Reverends next wife. I did not want to see that happen after I read the scene of what he did to her mother. I am all for kinky sex but come on he almost killed the woman.

CM definitely has a very vivid imagination and I will give him that. This book was hard core on many different levels. So many different storylines within this one book. I got a total laugh the one scene where it was a fake porno like sex scene! The writing on that scene made me laugh so hard! That was priceless!! Never have a I read a sex scene where the woman was faking it and a man could tell!!! It was awesome!!
