Kenzie is a void witch. Only a handful have ever existed. And now she's trying to find out where she belongs in the paranormal world. Thankfully her mates have never cared about her witch status. They love her for her - even if one of them is playing hard to get. Kenzie plans to make Hunter beg.
Meanwhile they still have to bring down Bradley Davis. But there are complications to their plans no one could have foreseen. Will Kenzie be able to handle her newly discovered abilities and any threat until she can master them? Will they be able to take down the jerk who cursed her sister after finding out what he's really after?
I'm very happy with this ending. The ending itself. There was a little more I wanted from the story before the end and it didn't happen. But I'm still happy with the way this series closed out.
The beginning of this book starts off where the last one ended. Kenzie and her guys have to recover from that cliff hanger ending in book two. And they definitely do. Kenzie starts learning more and more about her foxes and more about herself as well. I won't say what more I wanted from the story because it's kinda spoiler-y. But it definitely left me wanting. Then the ending came along and I was happy with the way things were wrapped up.
This was so good. And it's definitely up there on my list of favorite RHs! :D
I’m sad this series is over as it was such a fun read. Compared to the previous two this book was also super hot. When I think of hunky shifters, I’ll be honest I’ve never once thought of foxes. But holy shit does this book have me second guessing myself because this trio of guys are no joke. The buildup between them all finally explodes and I’m floored. Let’s just say the guys and Kenzie are all about free love and once they all hook up in the shower, well damn if that wasn’t one of the hottest scenes I’ve read in awhile 🤤🤤 This time around Kenzie and her men are taking down the sleezeball Brad once and for all. Honestly I thought the takedown was a bit easy but they did it via electronic means mostly and we all know how easy it is to ruin someone’s life on the Internet. Grams gram once again stole the show as only old ladies can lol. I really enjoyed the added family dynamic on both sides, Kenzie has her sister and grandmother while the guys have one another but also their extended raccoon family. I mean Kenzie has to basically threaten gram gram not to sleep with the raccoons, too funny. There’s more push and pull between hunter and Kenzie but only because they are both trying to push one another to give in and tormenting themselves all along. Once they get together and all give in to the bond, things ignite from there. I really would love to see an offshoot series from here, maybe her sister or the raccoons, so many possibilities and I’m here for it. This series has been so fun, interesting and now thanks to this one, fucking hoTTTTTT. Loved each book and can’t wait to see what the author will come up with next.
**There is MM content in case that’s not something you’re up for reading. A week ago, I didn’t read books with MM, it wasn’t my cuppa, buttt I’ve slowly started getting into them. This book goes all the way with MM, you’re forewarned, but it’s hot 😜**
This trilogy kept me interested the entire time! I loved Kenzie! She’s a freaking bada$$. There was laugh out loud moments and serious moments. The action was well written and you could picture the scene perfectly as if you were watching a movie. I really enjoyed this authors writing style and I’ll definitely be picking up more books from her! I loved Gram Gram and I hope Selene gets a story of her own. I was secretly hoping Selene would end up mated to the raccoons but who knows, hopefully we will get a book about them! There was nothing left open ended and the storyline was concluded perfectly. I like that it ended almost “normal” with them getting gifts, as if they were receiving wedding gifts lol it was cute.
GREAT trilogy.
Reread: May 2021. Still as good as I originally thought!
Well what can I say. this one was my favorite. It was full of action. the characters really blended well and the story line was great. Gram gram just kept making me laugh. The ending was sweet and also fitting. It's nice to think that Kenzie can have the life she deserves after all she's been put through.

I listened through this trilogy because they're free on Audible. I would not have spent any money on these books.
You never get to actually know any of the characters, and there's some unnecessary stuff. Like the fmc is this superhero, is trained in most fighting styles, but she freezes up and can't fight when the action gets real. It's annoying and unnecessary.
I feel like this last book was a little bit too easy. Everything fell into place except the one small snag at the very end. It was still enjoyable but I just think it was kind of boring.
These books are so much fun to read. Kenzie and the foxes are funny and smart and have a great bond. Also, even though there aren't a ton of romance scenes, they are extremely well done! This wrapped up nicely and I hope there are more books for some of the side characters.
I loved this series from start to finish, but this ending was perfect. This book wrapped up everything neatly, but still managed to give several big surprises.
It’s in this book that the mate bonds needed to be established between Kenzie and her foxes and she needed to learn about her new magical abilities.
I love how Kenzie finally gets to make the family that she needs, even if most of it isn’t blood family. In particular I love her demon godfather, who has taken her under his wing.
This books shows us who the foxes really are, we see them in all their twisted, feral, unbalanced glory and we can love them for it, in the same way Kenzie does. There is nothing they won’t do in order to protect Kenzie, and she feels exactly the same way. There is also plenty of heat in order to balance out the stress of everything being played out.
This series has been really well constructed from start to finish, the characters are well developed and consistent (which always pleases me), and the world building really makes me want to learn more about all the other supernatural races that we don’t read about in this series.
I will certainly be looking into the other books that are set in the same world, by this author, as I believe there are several. I always love it when I find a new author to enjoy.
Kenzie is one strong cookie, I can say that! To go thru everything she does, to deal with people who hate her because of the way she was born, who laughed at her. People who were meant to love her and have her back and help her live her life yet turned their backs on her....
And now. Now she becomes a void witch. None of the most powerful witches in the world, of which there had only been THREE registered since the dawn of time.
Kenzies true Friends show who they are.
Brad is brought to the council.... But is it enough??
Kenzies fox shifters have reached the point of no return when it comes to the feelings in the mating bond!!!
I LOVED the little side chapter that gave us the pov of Finnick of chapter one in book one where they're following Kenzie robbing Samuel!
Fantastic read - I needed a pnr read and something light and yours sounded ideal - and it was! My mood has changed but your books are in my tbr pot , thank you for the fun, cute, Steamy and enchanting read!!!

This book is an ideal wrap up to Kenzie's story. I love LOVE her and the guys, Selene and the racoons live up to expectations, and GramGram actually redeems herself a bit and exceeds expectations. The story is unique and interesting, complex enough to keep me guessing and hooked, but not excessively complicated. I have never wanted a demon friend but this author makes Eisheth a life goal.
Considering some relatively dark themes in the background of this series, the humor threads throughout made it a fun read, more fun than the last romcom I started actually. I would love to have this series on my shelf for spur of the moment rereads, it's just that good.
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
I have to admit that I almost did not want to read this book because then it would be over and what would I do without Kenzie and her foxes. Well now I have to find out because I could not totally stop myself from devouring this little gem and man was I not disappointed!!! There is all kinds of stuff going on in this final installment to this amazing trilogy as we wrap up all of the different things that have been going on throughout. Fantastic writing with characters that are now my BFF's. An absolute must read for fans of shifter RH. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
The bad guys felt a little background and sloppy but apart from that good end to a good trilogy. I especially liked the character growth of all characters, not to mention the M/M. That was nicely done.
I liked the game played between Kenzie and Hunter. Finnick was breaking my heart towards the end. Selena needs her own harem and Gram Gram needs a toy boy.
Favourite character still Eisheth. Plenty of sex, violence, death and magic. I need more of the raccoons, I wanna see who gets to put Chance is his place.
I loved this series. The fox shifters, the mystery and action and the slow build love affair. The author did a great job with ending the book. I just wish it would continue with Selene’s story. This book was both sweet and sassy, as Kenzie came into her unique power and cemented the mate bonds with her foxes.
I enjoyed this trilogy from start to finish. Strong characters, fantastic world building, love, loyalty, sex, suspense, action and family that is chosen. I need more!
I loved this book and devoured it in one sitting, only to be disapointed it was the end of the series, one that has been so addictive its held me spellbound throughout and looking for more. I've loved every moment of it and can't recomend it highly enough, 5 stars are just not enough.
I'm not rating this series. I skipped a lot of pages because it just wasn't doing it for me, but I was curious as to how it ended/if every villain got their just deserts
So I might cry now that I’ve read this whole series. I fell in love with all the characters.
I’m so happy that we saw so much more of Hunter in this book, that we saw his psychosis. His love for Kenz, Finnick, and Ash is really surprising given how his character is portrayed. I wish we would’ve gotten a little more from his POV.
We finally saw a completely different side of Finnick, even if it was just the end of the book. I thought him being feral meant he’d go all kamikaze and like murder a little more extravagantly? It was a little refreshing to actually get a deeper view into his brokenness. I think it rounded him out for the series.
I was surprised to find that Ash didn’t go off the deep end with the others at the end as well. It does make sense when you really think about it, since he’s not as destroyed as the others.... His past trauma and potential PTSD felt a little skipped over.
So I enjoyed all the man kisses. Not too shocking given my interests in other media venues.
I feel like we missed out on all that Eisheth’s character had to offer. I wish we saw more of him. And possibly more of Jessica too. I haven’t checked yet, but I’m hoping there’s a series all about her. *fingers crossed*
I enjoyed Brad’s demise. Profusely. Man-Bitch got what he deserved. *sassy z-finger snap, snap, snap*
The scene near the end in hell really left more to be desired. Is there another book in the series? Because I has questions still. I mean if this is the end? I get it. Brad’s gone. Martha’s a toaster strudel, without the yummy filling. But like wtf suspicious Takahashi or whatever her name was? I just gots some questions...
Would def recommend, even though all the questions I have made me drop a star.

I didn’t like the MM thrown in. It was not in the description of the first book and I only read the description of the first book in a series to avoid plot spoilers. I don’t like MM in my RH and that made me not enjoy this book. It went from not being in book one at all to a tiny amount in book two to being talked about, thought about and done a bunch in book three. I barely made it through this book and skipped large portions.
The story is great. It has some real intrigue and suspense. But the graphic sex scenes are honestly over the top, definitely porn-level graphic. They are also difficult to skip b/c they are so long, and if you skim, you find important magic elements or dialogue. These scenes do absolutely nothing for the plot. Just gratuitous porn that I hate. The whole novel would have been so much better without the multiple scenes.
Mackenzie was a great character, I absolutely loved her, she was sweet but massively badass as well and I loved how strong her bond was with her sister Selene. She overcame so much prejudice from her family and others and became a super strong person without an inch of magic, at least as far as she knew.
Her void witch powers are a cool take on balance and the only thing I didn't like in the whole trilogy was the fact that I hoped there would be more training and use of them, but I hope that, like Eisheth and Jessica James, Kenzie and her foxes will make an appearance in other books.
Even though Selene was everything her parents hoped for Kenzie to be, their bond was still so strong and Selene was a very sweet character with a secret spine of ice-cold steel.
The relationship that Kenzie had with Gram-Gram was awesome as well, I really liked Edith and her quiet love for Kenzie and how interesting of a character she was.
Her mated foxes were all darlings, and all such interesting characters and oh! what trouble all four were together! I liked how Kenzie's story was done in 3 parts because it made for getting to know all the characters a lot better then if it would have been a standalone.
Of course we cannot forget Eisheth, who once again was a brilliant drama queen and such an awesome person/demon in general, I really hope to see more of him since he's absolutely hilarious.
I really enjoy this writers writing style, this world they live in is fun and different and I hope she writes more about different characters maybe about her sister or the hot alpha white tiger shifter who was sniffing her & her sister because he’s looking for his mate!
We got the conclusion to her sisters ex boyfriends storyline and there was even a twist as to who he was working with.
I love her demon step father he’s such a cool character and now she’s kinda related to the hunter who is half demon half witch. Having never really had much family (her partner’s and great grandmother were horrible to her) so her new chosen family is sweet. Her sister & gram gram are the only people with her blood that are worth anything!
This book being the last was Hunters story with her and their bond. He was surprisingly adventurous when it came to sharing her and so extremely spicy 🥵 scenes 👌
This series ended well but I’m really hoping to see more stories from this world!
This is it. The conclusion to Kenzie’s story. I mean, not really. More like this adventure, but I’m still gutted. I had an internal war about whether to read this straight away or put it off because I hate saying goodbye to my favourite book characters. I ended up reading it straight away because of the plans the author announced for future series in the same literary universe.
Book 3 jumps into the story after the revelations of book 2’s conclusion. Kenzie struggles a little bit internally in this book, because of the revelations from the second book. Part of who she is has just changed in a big way. Not to mention she’s got a lot going on in this book with the foxes, her family, the contract. I can say I was pleasantly surprised at the end. It took a twist that I really wasn’t expecting, but the story was so much better for it. There’s still a fair amount of relationship and character development in this book, too, which is brilliant to be able to see new sides to everyone still, even in book 3. In the end, this book was a fantastic conclusion to the series, and one it really deserved. I’m gutted to not see more into Kenzie’s world, but I’m so glad Kenzie will be popping into other books. She’s too awesome to be finished here.
Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...
1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.
2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.
3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.
4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.
5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.
I had been putting off reading this series until it finished, not sure why but there you have it. A lot of people recommend it so when all three were available on audible I picked them up.
So let’s just start by saying 🖤sexy foxes 🖤urban fantasy RH 🖤insta-attraction but slow-burn 🖤stubborn, hawt heroine with the heart of a lion 🖤a bit of sword crossing ⚔️: MFM, MMF, MMFM
The main characters are fantastic and they are developed so well. There is so much pain and trauma in their past it’s a wonder how they can be open to having a relationship with each other at all but they make it work.
I had a skewed view on foxes before I started reading this series ya know, I was like “foxes are cunning and could possibly be hot but they’re no wolves!” I totally converted after reading the first book, it’s fantastic how Emma really entices you to change you point of view of Fox shifters.
The storyline is interesting and I’m glad for the HEA at the end but finding out the mastermind was not something I saw coming until it was too late. I love how the mysteries remained just that until they were needed!
I was hooked from the beginning and it was refreshing to find that I was engaged to the very end. There is something for everyone: 💋deep and meaningful 💋hot and steamy 💋funny
I got a little bored with this one and I’m not sure if it has anything to do with reading them back to back or that the story was feeling much slower.
With all the tension surrounding Hunter and Kenzie’s mating I was only slightly disappointed with how easily it went down. I wanted a tension filled battle between them, where the tension snaps and they snap too and it’s just epic. This one was good but not shattering like I expected.
The series as a whole is cute. But I just felt bored during this one, then at the end it picked up again. Which I enjoyed.
One thing forgotten was the Raven favor Hunter had. He totally could have used it at the back half of the book. But it was never mentioned.
Overall I did enjoy the ride. Though there’s still so much potential I don’t really understand ending Kenzie’s story here. She barely trained, barely explored what all a void witch can do. Idk.
I absolutely love this series and these characters. The not often seen mix of shifters the author writes is fantastic on its own, but add in Kenzie’s backstory and family drama, as well as the guys themselves, and it just doesn’t get much better. One of the things I love about this series is how the author focuses on one male member of the Harem with each book, giving the reader more info on them, but in a way that we still get time with the others. It never feels like they’re side characters or less than. The author does a great job blending the dynamic. This book still had plenty of action, mystery and excitement, as well as all the feels from the continued growth of relationships. I recommend this book and series, five big stars from me!
I really enjoyed this serious, as I said for the first book, it is a really great starter book for those wanting an intro into the reverse harem scene, and the second and third book was no different. I also think it's a great introduction for MM as well (Although I always want more juicy detailed scenes I still got my fill!) I was a little disappointed Brad was taken down so quickly towards the end of the book - I wish Kenzie had a little one on one with Brad instead of Kuna shadowing behind. I also would've loved another saucy group scene at the end of the book but enjoyed in regardless!
I am hoping we can learn a little more about Selene and the racoons (I wish they were mates!) Look forward to reading more by Emma Dean!
The beginning of this book very much had the same vibes as the second. By that I mean it was centred around her relationship with the men, and also involved their POV's a lot more. This was a good change up but I must admit, it did almost lose me as I really wanted some action.
Finally, we were granted some adventure a third of the way through or so and things started picking up speed. I wish the book carried a bit more of the ending in it - in the sense of action and showcasing her skills that she picked up when she was powerless.
But alas, a book can only really have so many revelations and *pew* *pew* guns blazing scenes.
Also, expect a dash of more spice! MMFM! Written quite well as well.
What a fantastic, action packed way to wrap up Kenzie’s story. I love these characters so much, it’s sad knowing there won’t be any more of this sexy Chaos coming. 😏Emma Dean is an amazing writer, the detail, sense of humor, the characters and story arc are all so amazing. As always I was sucked in immediately and on the edge of my seat the whole way through. As they wrapped up their contract, they end up dealing with more than they originally thought (yet again), but while reading I could actually see it all play out in my head perfectly. This wild, sexy, danger filled adventure was fantastic, can’t wait to see what Emma Dean has in store for her next project!
