When a sassy and disillusioned phone operator gets a hold of the power of Cupid, watch out!

A mysterious caller…

Locke Casey is nothing special. Sure, her job as a phone operator job is a little unusual, but it pays the bills, and as a broke, twenty something college student, she doesn’t have much room to be picky. She is used to odd calls from strange men thanks to her job,

Battlefield Love is the first book in the new adult operation cupid series by Skyler Andra & Mila Young. The operation cupid series is a mythology and fantasy romance, that has a really cool premise. You all know I am a sucker for anything mythology, and I love Mila Young's Gods and Monster's series so much, so I was extra excited to see what they would do with another mythology series. The coolest part of Battlefiel

So, I read this because the premise kind of reminded me of Raven Kennedy’s Heart Hassle series (Signs of Cupidity and Bonds of Cupidity), and I really like that series. As with Kennedy’s books, Battlefield Love is categorized as a reverse harem, and both have elements of humor and steamy sexy times, but that is where the similarities end. Whereas Kennedy’s books seem to have a more light-hearted feel to them, Battlefield Love was a little more dark in nature. For instance, while Kennedy’s cupid ...more

Lord this book put me through a wild ride.

I was so skeptical at first. Gods? Avatars? It ended up really surprising me in a good way. Onto book 2!

Amazing!!

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect with this book after reading the blurb but I was far from disappointed. I absolutely loved this book!! So much action, suspense, love, and lust and I loved every page. I enjoy Locke as a female lead but she infuriates me a lot with her stupid and reckless decisions. I love Byron, Mads, and Rane. They all have differing personalities so it will be interesting to see how the authors pull this into a RH as the series continues. This book also has a health

Battlefield Love is Book 1 in the Operation Cupid series by Skylar Andra. The world building and character development are great. The storyline is unique/original and I found myself engrossed in the story and turning pages wanting to know what was coming next. Locke, FMC, is a phone sex operator whose life is turned upside down when she receives a weird phone call and men in black suits show up and try to grab her. Apparently because of the call she is now Cupid's avatar and has powers. She is s ...more

Battlefield love

Locke is a phone sex operator, she is most definitely not your typical heroine. One night she gets a call that freaks her out, guy knows her real name, she hangs up seeing a bright light and wham everything changes. Men break into her apartment another rescue her. Now she supposedly has become avatar of Cupid who has gone missing. Ares avatar, Hermes avatar both call to her, but trust is not easy. Byron a man she cared for in college is who she runs to for help . Bad and good guy

This book was so good! I loved it! Locke, was a great character, and totally relate-able. Locke, is your average call girl, trying to make a living. One day she gets a call from a guy who seem spurned from Love..He asks her about love? Locke, asks wtf but answers hi question anyway. She gives her honest opinion, and he tells her that her answer is perfect. She hangs up, and she shuts down her call girl service. Except the guy calls again, and she doesn't know how he was able to call. Locke, goes ...more

wow, I was not expecting this. I read this book in one sitting. I love this book.
Locke is your typical woman, well just about. She's struggling in life, no one to turn to and just trying to make money to support herself. Cupid strikes, but not in the usual way. This leads to terror, screaming, some romance, but mainly to thugs in suits who want bad things.
This was a brilliant and interesting read. The characters are well developed and has a great storyline so far. I cannot wait to start readin

Such an interesting story.

I was captivated by the entire story, the only complain I would have is Locke running away from her problems. It doesnt always solve everything, but I mean I can't blame her much, her trust issues and fear stem from a very messed up childhood. With an alcoholic and abusive mother who allowed Lockes step father to molest her. I love the guys, and can't wait to read more.

YES.
Y E S!

I was starting to lose faith in RH books because I couldn’t find any that were actually good. This was basically my last hope and ALLELUIA it did not disappoint !

The MC is witty, strong and uses her brains thank lord. I love her!
The guys each have their very own personalities and they’re very easy to adore.
The story is good, moves along at a very good pace and is over all super entertaining.

Really loved it!

Yesss, this books was so good. Ive never read a cupid book before and this was awesome. I was hooked from the first chapter and found it got better the more i read. Fmc is a believable feisty character who had me laughing in places. While the male leads create some very steamy scenes. The story has been well thought out and is easy to follow and understand. Im looking forward to book 2 and would definitely recommend this. X

I had no preconceived ideas when I started reading this book and tried to keep an open mind as I am not normally a fan of books around the Gods probably as I tend to get wound up by self-centred men who love themselves however this book was an amazing read especially as Rane ( Ares ) has a certain vulnerability that just makes you want to love him.
Mads is just adorable who doesn’t love a bit of mischief and as for Byron well I can’t wait for that mystery to be unravelled. Locke out female MC is

This was a great story about a girl who finds out she is an avatar for a god.

Poor Locke is having all kinds of stuff happen to her, I'm not sure I could handle any of it. And the pull to use her god powers in a bad way is interesting and falls in line with what I have always read about gods.

I like reading things about mythology so this was a good read.

Also there was some hot sexytimes.

Made me want to be a pho e sex operator!

I love this book. The characters are so real and relatable. Though imbibed with mythology this story has a distinct feel of an average woman learning to love, one man at a time. She does tend to run a lot which is frustration from the outside looking in. Her men are delicious.

Interesting spin on Greek mythology in modern times. With the cupid aspect in Locke, the FMC, who is slightly damaged emotionally. As she comes to terms with her new powers as she runs from those hunting her. Avatars of the Greek gods are looking for her too. Great characters and story line development with seamless co-writing. I can't wait to continue Locke's journey in the rest of the series.

Battlefield love

This book was excellent. I loved the idea of Greek/Roman gods having avatars and trusting their powers to certain people in the world. It’s an interesting concept. The writer has a way of making you feel all of Locke’s emotions good and bad. I felt like I was there a with her. Can’t wait to read the next book.

Really good start

I really enjoyed the writing style and story in this book. Love the concept of the gods having avatars. The MC is funny, likable, tough and damaged. My only complaint is how much she runs away from everything. I understand hat it's her defense mechanism, but it really takes away from the relationship development since she spends so much time running off on her own. I'm definitely reading the next book in the series. I can't wait to meet more of the avatars.

Tugs at the heartstrings!!

Wow this was a great read! I love that Locke is not a size 2 but still feels good in her own body! I felt connected with her throughout the story while her, Mads, Rane and Byron all pulled on my heartstrings. I love Byron and his sweet but also demanding personality. This book showed that some people show a lot mors on the outside than what is inside them. There is hearache, passion, love and anger in this book. I loved the take on the gids and cannot wait to see what c

I love this first book in the series. To me, its not just Locke finding out what and who she is..its more of her becoming who she is meant to be, in a sense embracing it even when unsure. Love her personality!!! Bring on number 2!!!!

Fresh spin on paranormal RH romance. Loved it!!!

I read all the time. And, this is the first review I’ve ever been compelled to write. This series is fantastic. If you like reverse harems (I mean who the hell wants to chose) and mythology, you will love this series.

I started this book last night at around nine pm. I figured I would read a few chapters and then head on to bed. But then suddenly the end of the book appeared and the clock read 2:15 am. Somewhere along the way I became so lost and consumed by this amazing read that time had slipped on by without my notice. Battlefield of Love is an excellent, unique take on Greek Mythology that will leave readers begging for more. Luckily for me, book two is already out and in my Kindle library begging me to d ...more

Yesssssss

At first, I wasn't too sure about this book...but thank Eros that I continued it because it was epic. I need more Mads, Byron and Rane like I need to breathe, okay? I am absolutely in love with Locke and how she handles her business. I'll be diving into book two now. ❤❤❤

Cupid is a girl

Locke gets the Cupid powers and runs away. I took a star off because I just can't get on board with a heroine who is always running away and not facing her issues. The writing was good but we are missing most of the back story. Hopefully things will be explained in the next book.

Awesomeness

Whilst this did take me a few chapters to get addicted, it's well worth the effort. Love this new rendition of Cupid. Must read more.
