god, I love this series so much: it's just so addictive and I really can't get enough of the antics and lack of remorse this throws out there.
It just makes such a refreshing change to be following and rooting for the bad guys and that they are staying true to there inert natures: really adore that about this particular series: how it dabbles in that murky in-between almost in the grey of things.
So the first two books here follow Lucifer and Mavi and are told from there POV this one zero's in on

WOW Just WOW, Can this series get any better, that is a big fat YES! I absolutely loved the first two books but this was just as good if not even better if that is possible.

This series is so addictive that it has you routing for the bad guys every damn time, the intricate plot that Claire weaves has you on your toes though out as you never know what is going to happen next, the world building is just phenomenal and the plot that unfolds you have no idea how it will end,it went in directions that i

In this 3rd installment of Claires amazing Cease Fire series we get to spend some quality time with Raziel. We find out about what happened when he was a young kid that lead him to end up being the right hand of the devil. Plus we get to see more of Lucifer and Mavi! (they are still so HOT). So, in this book Mavi and Lucifer need to find a nanny for their precious angel. They have already been through a few and are in desperate need of a vacation. Luckily they find Jane. Jane is a rainbowed hair ...more

Note: I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

After the amazingly sexy adventures I had reading books one and two in this series, I did not expect to like this book as much. They always say that nothing lives up to the original, but that is not the case with this story as I actually loved it just that little bit more. In true Claire Marta fashion you will experienc

Wow this series just keeps on getting better, the world that has been created is so all encompassing and well thought out, that every little detail is planned and perfectly executed. I am constantly in awe of how Claire Marta is able to pull off such an amazingly complex world with such deep characters. If you read

This is book 3 in the series. From Ashes and Embers is different though because this one is told from Raziel and Jane's points of view, not Lucifer and Mavi. We still see Lucifer and Mavi but From Ashes and Embers Focuses on Raziel and Jane.
Jane has been hired by Lucifer and Mavi as a nanny to their baby. When Jane arrives there is an instant spark for Raziel. Lucifer warns Raziel not to do anything with Jane, he is not to touch her. An order which Raziel is finding extremely hard to abide by.

This series has been incredible and I have loved every twist and turn that Claire Marta has thrown out when it comes to these books and yet again, this book is no exception. She has managed to do an amazing job and has left me wanting more, seriously once you read her work you just end up being hooked. As soon as I started reading this book I was completely absorbed in the story and I had to keep reading until the very end. By Claire Marta.

A superbly written novel that incorporates politics, religion, mythology and an understanding of how people's fears and emotions can be manipulated, controlled and be used as a guarantee of total submission.
This book has a mixture of everything you could possibly want from a multi levelled action packed novel reminding you of how quickly and easily people’s lives and dreams can be changed through the actions of another.

Dark Angel Raziel’s story burns white hot

Book 3 of the Ceasefire series brings us into Raziel’s world. From his tragic youth through his allegiance to Lucifer as his right hand man, he’s had no time for a real relationship. And he’s always seen woman as playthings to use up and discard.

Enter Jane, the sweet and innocent, rainbow haired fae hired as Lucifer and Mavi’s nanny. (I know, right? Lucifer has a nanny!) I wouldn’t say it was love at first sight but soon they can’t deny the pull.

This is the type of book that makes me immediately want to reread it. Claire Marta weaves an intricate plot that pulled me in. It almost defies logic how she is able to continually surprise the reader throughout the novel.

The character development was extremely well done. I especially love how she not only kept previously introduced characters’ personalities consistent but also continued to add layers. The main characters in this one were a powerful combination. The feelings just dripped off th

I bloody love this series. It just keeps on getting better and my mind is blown more and more with every new installment.
I absolutely adore Raz. He is just the perfect example of dark and delicious. I felt all of his pain, his anger, his joy. He is honestly one of my favourites, ever.
And Jane...she is so perfect for him. His light in the dark. His strength, passion and fight. I really can't enough of these two, everything about them had me melting.

I liked Raziel from the very first moment we met him, even though he does a lot of things that aren't all that great. I mean, he is Lucifer's right hand man, after all. So, reading his story was something I really enjoyed.

I like Jane. I think that she has a lot of strength that people don't necessarily see at first. They just see this Fae with the rainbow hair, and nothing about what's inside her, and I don't necessarily mean any kind of physical strength, but mental and emotional strength. The

I so, so love this series!!! This book focuses on Raziel and Jane, we still see the characters we’ve come to know and love- Mavi, Lucifer, Cassy and Gabriel but they take a back seat. From the beginning I was totally engrossed in this book and with all of the twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat! Raziel has been the Devil’s right hand man for centuries. Living under his laws and abiding by his rules never questioning until Jane. Now Raziel just can’t abide by the one, most important ...more

Huh! What a read! It was full of everything - anger, love, lust, jealousy, misunderstanding, and twists that would keep you on the highest alert.
This book starts just as an OK read. Knowing the author style I knew I would get something more than I wanted and didn't know I needed.
Raziel is the right hand of the Devil. He was with him for centuries. He never disobeyed any order. Great warrior.

After reading the first 2 books in this series, I KNEW Raziel was gonna break my heart. He did. He picked Jane instead lol.
Raziel is the Devil's second in command. His childhood will break your heart. It's a wonder he's even sane growing up the way he did. But it's also made him who he is today. Part Angel. Part Part Demon. Part man-whore lol. Yeah okay he's that 100%, but he does have a heart. And he protects those he loves. Hmmm... yummy right!
And then we have Jane. Aka Tinkerbell. She's sugar

Resident bad boy, Raziel, just gets hotter and hotter as this story continues. Talk about a range of emotions! It's so good that I woke up my husband from a dead sleep screaming no at my kindle. My heart broke for Raz in a couple of spots. I'm trying really hard not to give away any spoilers, but holy smokes you're going to want this book. Raziel does some amazing transformations, does some back sliding, but totally redeemable. Then there's the revelation! Well, actually, there's more than one r ...more

WOW..What a book.

This genre isn't something i would generally be drawn to but Claire has completely blown that out of the water, i loved it, i devoured it in one sitting, every page better than the last, drawing me in, i needed to know what happened but never wanted the book to end.
I love how dark and twisted Lucifer is but how strong and grounded mavi makes him.

I adore raziel and everything that he is, he makes the book one that i will never forget and i cant wait to get my hands on the next on

I just love this dark paranormal world that Claire Marta has given readers. It’s so complicated yet I follow it easily. You must read the previous books to follow the storyline and it’s very addictive.

This third instalment of the series tells the story of Jane and Raziel and it’s equally as dark and gripping as the first two books. Jane is not who she seems and is off limits to Raziel because of Lucifer but that just makes it even more sexy and engaging.

Lots of suspense and debt to the story.

This is another fast paced, action packed story. This one focuses on Raziel, Lucifer's right hand man, and the new nanny, Jane. Their chemistry is intense despite her innocence, and their scenes are seriously steamy.

There are a lot of secrets, everyone seems to be hiding something and they are revealed throughout the story along with some of the characters background. As always the story is brutal and erotic and the characters from the previous stories make appearances throughout, including Cass

Powerful writing from Claire Marta! I absolutely loved the first two books in the series and this is a fabulous continuation.
Raziel is the ultimate bad boy after the devil himself, but once he sets eyes on Tink, the new nanny to the Princess From Hell, he develops a soft side - well, at least for a short while anyway!!! He just HAS to have Tink! But it's not plain sailing by any stretch of the imagination. There are plots within plots, twist and turns and jaw dropping moments from start to finis

5 intriguing stars!!!!!

Raz and Janes story is messed up, a little on the dark side and pretty steamy. I love this story so much!! Of course you see the attraction at the beginning and it takes a betrayal to bring these two very sad souls together. Lucifer is such an ass and has not softened from having Mavi, I think you really start to see some of his other moods, a bit scary. The relationship is not as dark as Mavi and Lucifer’s (that one was epic) but the story was interesting and I did not wa

This series is just so damn good!!
The world building in this book just keeps getting better and better! The characters revel in their darkness, making no apologies for their actions, and yet you cheer them on from the sidelines. Raziel is an ultimate bad boy, second in command to the Devil, he thrives in his role. Tink, poor Tink. She comes into Raz's life as the colourful nanny to the Princess of hell. The journey these two take is filled with pain, lots of pain, lust, torment, betrayal and wel

Oh my word can this series get any better.

This installment is to do with Raz and Jane. Jane is a temptation to Raz who has been warned by Lucifer to keep his hands off her. Jane pull is to great for Raziel to ignore. The more time he spends with her the more he wants her. Who would think this sweet innocent Fae could be so dangerous.

This is a book that is difficult to put down. You are captured from page 1 to the end.

Claire you rock woman, I cant wait to get into the next installment.

Loyalty and promises collide

Raz is Lucifer's right hand man and Jane is Lucifer's nanny. Ray is told no touching and Jane is a rainbow in the underworld. No one can resist a rainbow, no matter how hardened you are.
You must read the previous two books to get the whole story and follow along at some points.
The twists and turns that Ms.Marta throws in is reminiscent of the earlier books, and oh so keeps you on your toes!

No rest

Seriously love Marta's books. She doesn't show the Devil having human emotions, like we think he should have. Even with the people in his family.

Raz and Jane are in that family. Lucifer doesn't give them any slack. It wonderful how depraved and steamy this book gets.
