What is UP with this “Mate” shit?
“Mate goes with panther.”
“Mate is hungry.”
“Mate needs cakes.”
They sound like damn Neanderthals.
Mate has a name????

All this constant “you’re my heart. My soul. My will to live. The air I breathe, the cum that stains my walls.”
Needs to stop.
Okay that last proclamation was a little too far.
But you get my point.

Thank the heavens this book has humor.
Class’s attitude still sucks.

I’m still wondering myself why I continued with this series. But alas, here we are.
This IS the last installment and I see most things through.

If you find Cass’s attitude cute or endearing, you have far more patience than I.

I’m still quite puzzled by the choppy, Neanderthal dialogue from the men? Are they okay? Someone should check on them.
????

The drawn out war cries and speeches were on a repeat loop. That could have been 2 pages not an entire chapter.
Just kidding, nearly two chapters of rallying.
Ridiculous.

The ending dragged.

It was awful.
Mainly because I sincerely CANNOT STAND HER ATTITUDE.
If you’re into bratty MC’s, here you go. Read this shit.

So glad it’s over.

YES!! This ending was everything I expect from Meg. It was an insane, crazy ride and it kept me on the edge of my seat. I devoured the words and then would curse myself for reading it so quickly. I didn't want it to end. Cass as a dragon was even better than I expected. She is fierce, stubborn, independent, and funny. I can't forget the moments of humor because it's one of my favorite things about Meg's writing. Her characters are witty, and I love it. I was also happy to see that she got to eat plenty of cake, lol. I can't even look at cake without thinking of Cass anymore. It's a charming part of her and about the only thing that can stop her in her tracks when she is on a rampage. I was happy to see that even after Cass became a dragon she maintained that blend of rebellious teen/siren/bad-a** chick that I have loved so much. I love the way her men are always behind her, no matter what, and make everyone else back off, too. Without giving away any spoilers, I'm not really sure what else to say. There are tons of surprises, tons of action and fighting, tons of humorous interactions and sexy scenes, too. It's a very enjoyable read, and I can't wait to see what Meg's imagination will come up with next.

Cass never gets a break. Her life is always in danger and people want to use her powers for their own benefit. The only ones she can truly count on are her mates. These men would go thru Heaven or Hell to keep her safe.

This book concludes the series. The story includes plenty of action and adventure and lots of heat among Cass and her mates.

I really liked that Cass stays true to herself and never lets other make choices for her. She continues to stand up for those in need and would never betray a friend. She truly has the best interests of others in mind and puts herself at great risk.

It doesn't feel the end of her and her story and I hope we hear more from them in other books.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

Great ending.

This book was just as impactful as I hoped it to be. The author kept on delivering right up till the end.

There should be a higher rating than 5 stars

Wow wow wow what can I say about this conclusion it was intense and mind numbingly freaking amazeballs!!! I have loved Cass and her guys the entire book but this one we see all the answers to our questions and presented in this perfect HEA that makes me both ecstatic and sad for the completion of the series. Meg has once again led us down a rabbit hole we want to never come out of, I cannot praise her books highly enough they are beyond any expectation and deserve all the recognition they can get. I will close with myn and a fellow Meg Xuemei fans new hash tag that we feel strongly displays our love of her books #mycupoftea

OMG! The ending was epic. All the crazy double crosses you start to lose track of who's really on Cass's side. Hades' pure insanity that he thought he could control his daughter and do his bidding nearly had me in tears I was laughing so hard. I did love that because Cass defended Medusa when no one else ever had, she protected Cass and her mates. I really enjoyed learning the real truth behind Jezebel and what she did to Cass and why. Cass certainly doesn't forgive and forget which all her enemies learned much to their detriment.

'I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily reviewed it.

I finished this series because the original plotline was interesting. That said, I'm glad it's over.

This was an Amazon recommended book and I clicked in having read only
the main plotline synopsis. I didn't read further to see that it's marketed as some sort of sexy/erotic series. I don't mind erotica, but if I'm going to read it, I will choose an author who is well versed.

First, Cass never really grows up. We get it. She's sassy. The sophomoric one liners are not necessary. Stick to the story, not the juvenile inner monologue.

Second, what's with this "mate" crap all of the sudden? Instead of her name, they start calling her "mate?" And if that then becomes her name, why not capitalize it?

Third, the "sex" scenes. This is what tanks the series. Perhaps it's sexy to those who find Fifty Shades of Grey (cough Twilight fanfic cough). However, anyone who has even put a toe beyond the line of the blandest of vanilla sex will recognize that the author has certainly not ever left the Court of Missionary and Vanilla. The scenes are laughable in the first two books. They get more and more cringe-worthy as the series progresses. Ultimately, they become so ridiculously bad that I sprained my eyeballs when I rolled them. "Write what you know" was certainly not applied here.

To wit: Here is an actual line from one of the "sexy" scenes. It's not a description. It's dialogue. "Your pussy clenches me begging my cock to fuck you harder and drive deeper, baby."

What? Really? This is supposed to be spoken out loud during sex? Someone (the author) needs a lesson on dirty talk. Repeat this drivel for a few pages and you have every sex scene in the series. They seem to be inserted (no pun intended) after the book was written. There's no flow, no transition. At times, they almost seem as if they're written by someone else; perhaps a 12 year old boy who is trying to prove that he knows all about the sexing. Absolutely dreadful. I dreaded the sex scenes.

I will most likley (99.999999%) never read this author again. The plotlines don't outweigh the writing. That's a dealbreaker. Two stars only because of the interesting plotline. Otherwise, zero.

My review is on the series as a whole not on each individual book. I purchased this series via Audible I’m not sure about the performance but overall liked the series.

So..., there are four books in this complete series. Obviously another fantasy reverse harem and they are quite fast paced. There is so much sexual tension in the first book but no actual sexy times until toward the end of the second but you know the saying about once the seal is broken, well girl couldn’t get a break not that she wanted one when it came to her mates.

The main characters each have very strong personalities and in some cases I felt were a little overwhelming. So the main female character, Cassandra, was locked in a cage for the majority of her life, she is a little naive but outspoken. There were a few time through the books that I would roll my eyes at her but then remember that whilst she maybe fully mature she is only 16 years old and has experienced life through others dreams. Cassandra has four mates, there is an instant attraction when she meets them and through each book her feelings for them grow. Cassandra’s mates whilst are ancient beings get a new lease on life when they meet Cassandra, they will do anything to ensure she lives a happy and long life. Obviously being the centre of a prophecy foretold that she would end the tyranny of the gods by ending their lives. Not that the gods would take that threat lying down and peruse her, their mistake!

Each book adds its own twist to the overarching storyline which kept it quite interesting. I felt the story wasn’t just about ensuring the survival of each of the main characters and Earth but the growth in maturity of our main characters as well.

War, Betrayal & Redemption!!💥💔🙏💜 4.5 Stars 🌟
(Read using Kindle Unlimited)

The final book in this series is epic. Cass learns how far the betrayals against her, from the start, have gone. She gets a huge shock that one of her biggest betrayers was actually betrayed first & wasn't complicit!!😱😢 Hades place's a spell on her so she'll turn on every one once she's killed the Olympians.😡

The War begins & her more betrayals occur that will end Cass!!😭💔 Her mates refuse to leave her side💘 Punishment is coming 😏😎💥

I loved this book & series. Cass & her Mate's HEA was brilliant 🙈😂🔥 So was Amber's 💕 I really liked her choice of punishment, she showed humanity which the other Gods & Goddesses had lacked!!🌟

Wow! I thought the last book had a lot of action but it has nothing on this book! Seriously Cass is thrown from one thing to another and she was amazing. She handled everything like a goddess. Her men were also amazing. They let Cass be herself. Never once trying to change and I loved that... because quite frankly she was a lot to handle. And the ending was so good!!! I am so glad we learned what happened to the gods. I was afraid they would just be floating in the abyss and that was going to be the ending. But no! Cass found the best solution for them.

This series was so much fun. I didn’t like Cass in the first book but she grew up fast and now I love her.

Wow. It was just one wicked twist after another! This was an incredible ending to an awesome story. And that last epic battle was just that, epic. Things I didn't see coming and things I was hoping for! Loved it

I loved how the plot resolved all the issues with Cass, Hades, Gaea, and the Olympian Gods. There were a few twists I did not see coming . I loved that Demeter and Persephone stick together and help Cass. Even when it looked like Cass would not make it, the Earth people still fought for her. Turns out she doesn't die, but had to be tricked by Gaea in order to become truly immortal. I was glad that she got some closure with her mother, Jezebel, and found out about Gaea and Hades deception and curse.

And revenge? Well, Cass gets her revenge on the gods and Gaea

There was one thing I did not care for in this last book, which is why I rated it lower than the previous books. Cass' mates sound like cavemen in this book. "My mate gets cake," or "Mate has a tight p××××."
Lorcan is very intelligent, Alaric is tough but clever, Pyrder is mischievous, and Reys is sweet, but every time they have s€x they turn into cavemen. They may as well be grunting or beating their chests. I realize they are now mated but the men have become rutting beast with little of their personalities that made me love them left.

I would recommend this series for the plot (and its twists), a bratty but tough heroine, hot s€x with 4 hot men, and the crushing of the patriarchal Olympian Gods.

Good series wrap up

I really enjoyed reading this series because there was so much happening and let’s be honest here, Cass is one bad*** chick! I loved how the story revolves around Greek gods and Goddesses and there plan to destroy earth in order to stay at the top of the hierarchy. They were all power hungry and it ultimately lead to their downfall.

I did have a few complaints with this book including the conclusion of everything with the original earth goddess. While the final scene where they battled the Gods was very detailed and dramatic, I hated reading about all the double crosses and back stabbing. While it was exciting and thrilling to read, the constant change in loyalties made me question literally everything and made it difficult to keep it all straight. I’m not saying it was bad, it was just a turn that I wouldn’t say I loved or enjoyed to read. I also noticed that scenes seemed to change rather abruptly at times that had me somewhat confused. The smooth transitions were just not there at times which would throw me off and leaves me wondering what exactly happened.

Overall it was a fantastic series and a great final book that brought all the pieces together. I don’t recall seeing any context or content errors so that’s always a plus in my book. I encourage anyone who enjoys drama, action, kinky sexy times, and RH to give this Series a shot.

This has been a whirlwind of a series! There is so much happening! It's fun, complex, romantic, sexy, all the elements of an incredible story. Book 4 picks up where we left off, and we get to see what Cass is going to do with the information she has learned. She proves to be a force you don't want to reckon with! The Gods have their hands full, and not one is safe. The fight scenes are action packed and are so vivid, you can picture it all in your mind. Zeus, Hades, Ares, Apollo, you name it and they are there! There are some surprising allies, and the love meter remains off the charts for Cass and her four mates. You will love how it all turns out!

Victoria Mei finishes out the series with an amazing performance. Not only does she shine in this series, but it just shows that with a challenge of so many characters and so many different types of scenes that she can narrate anything! I loved her portrayal of characters, she has so much vibrancy and emotion that you could feel the story. Loved every minute!

This series! Just oh my gods it was so good! I can't say enough good things about it. I was completely blown away and on the edge of my seat through all these books down to the last words! The characters were amazing, the story was amazing, the battles everything all were! I really couldn't get enough and it's been a long time since I've been this upset to be done a series I really enjoyed these books. It was so great to have such a strong female alpha character and have a happy ending with her relationship and life just getting better! Ill most likely reread these that's how good they were I'm going to miss it.

I can't say enough fantastic things about this entire series. Every book was awesome and kept me glued. The final audiobook was even above and beyond the other books. The ending was a shock but the author did a great job wrapping up everything throughout the entire series which really means a lot to a reader/listener. To be honest I don't want it to end. I would love more books or different POV 's with these characters. I don't want to be parted from them!!! Victoria Mei really gave life to each character and was perfect throughout the entire audiobook series. Absolutely amazing narrator, she helped me love this series even more. Encore!!!

Cass Is Going to Hell

Hades wants Cass to come and take her place as princess of Hell. When a battle breaks out after Cass refuses, some of her mates guards, die , while defending them from Hades demons and other creatures. Then he takes Cass's fae prince and her best friend back to Hell with him. Afterwards, Cass is so destroyed by one of her mates being taken, her escape from the agony overwhelming her. Cass's body starts to shift into an animal long extinct. Her remaining mates try to make her remember who she is and to come back to them.
This book is her journey to get her mate back and destroy the gods. But nothing is that simple..

Fabulous Book & Series!

This is the 4th and last book in the series,
"War of the Gods."

Having read the full story, I cannot put into words just how much I love this author's work.
I've read nearly everything that Meg Xuemei X has written so far, and I've enjoyed it immensely. So much so that I wonder what I'm going to read once I've completely read the whole catalogue of her work.
However, I can't recommend her work highly enough to other readers, except to say that if you don't try some of her work, then you will have missed out on a rare treat! Happy Reading!

Don't stop writing Meg as I'm a lifelong fan! 🙂

Sad to See it End but What a Great Adventure!

From the beginning and to the end, this series sucked me in. I absolutely love Cass's kick ass attitude and vulgar mouth.

I love the world that this author has created and how Greek mythology intertwines with a modern post apocalyptic world. Cass remains awesome to the end.

The love for her mates and their love for her is very real. I love her mates and how they are constantly there for her but know when Cass needs to do her own thing.

Great relationships and the story is incredible.

Incredible snarky and ironically funny heroine!

I'm usually not a fan of series because they usually leave me hanging. Instead, I was sucked in, laughing and cheering the heroine on. I couldn't stop reading and read the entire series in one day! Believe me, you won't be disappointed!
If you like snarky heroines and devoted alphas this series is for you. You can see how each character grows emotionally and how their dynamic with the heroine helps her win over their enemies in the end. There was also an awesome twist in the storyline that I never saw coming!

The plot was great. The concept about the Earth goddess that also has death and dragon magic was even greater ( even though I never understood how Earth magic was different from wind and storm magic which is implied). The only thing that drive me crazy is the personality of the main character. I understand that she was young and she was a goddess so she wanted it all - but should she sound like a 5 year old brat in a women's body? The only saving grace is that through the 4 books she matured a little; but first 2 books I wanted to strangle her myself.

A Fitting End to the Series

Everyone wants to use Cass to do their bidding. It's interesting to see how that turns out for them.

Things have been gearing up for war and war is what we get in this final installment. The arrogance of the gods against the foul-mouth brat and her men comes to a head.

This book had many great unexpected turn of events. Things didn't always turn out as they seemed but that made it an interesting read.

Read and find out what happens to Cass, her men, the gods, and the fate of the Earth.

The last two books in this series saved it for me, because if I was to rate it on book one and two, we would have barely made it to 3☆.

Thank goodnes I am stubborn as a mule and pushed it through (mainly because I purchased the box set).

I am relatively liberal minded, but in the first two books I couldn't get the fact that she was 16 out of my mind. In the 3rd & 4th books she began to mature and I was finally able to over look the fact that she was a kid having hot sex with 4 hot as hell men.

Not bad

Nice way to end the series. I did almost cry. I really enjoyed how each MC evoled during the series. I loved how Cass was so wild, I never know what was gonna come out of her mouth. Cassie still the wild crazy goddess from the first book, but she has changed as well. Her mates are still the same. I really liked the very ending and I'm hoping a spin-off book/series will come from it.

A good ending.

This final book in the series was full of action, and I kinda liked the way it ended. It was unexpected. However, my old complaints about this series stand. Cass is annoying and whiny and immature. Her character never really improved. She seemed too prefect, always having just the right power, or learning just the right technique too quickly. I would have liked to see more flaws in her. As my first ever Reverse Harem book, it was pretty good though.
