I recieved this book from the author is return for my honest review. Which I must add an extra thanks for my personalised signing. This has in no way affected my review of this book.
Twisted Fate follows the main character Laina, a bookstore owner who is still struggling to cope with the loss of her brother and cannot get her childhood sweetheart out of her thoughts, dreams and mind. Fortunately she has Preston her best friend, roommate and co-owner of the bookshop to get through everything.

Laina is hardly living. She barely gets out of bed every day and the only reason she is functional at all is because of her friend Preston. Her brother has died and her boyfriend just up and left. When he forces her to keep her commitment to attend his cousin’s wedding with him she barely cares but once there she ends up as an emergency bridesmaid. What’s even worse is that the woman she is replacing was very pregnant and the dress, well – it doesn’t fit. Laina looks ridiculous but who is going ...more

I received this book from the author in return for my honest review and I'm thrilled I was picked for it as I’m now a proud owner of a gorgeous signed book on my bookshelf :-)

It took me a while to get into a story at the beginning, but after a few chapters all just clicked in and I got through the rest of the story in one sitting.

It’s a wonderful love tale with a deep message of how ungrateful we are about things we have in our lives sometimes and how we go without appreciating other people and

Laina Jorden owns a struggling bookstore, is dealing with a tragic loss, estrangement from her mother and can’t let go of her first love, Jared, who moved away years earlier. Luckily she has her best friend and roommate, Preston, who drags her out of bed and to a wedding at the story’s beginning. That’s when fate brings Mason into her life, despite her funny, yet cringe-worthy behavior at the wedding. They start dating (after several failed attempts at a first date) and he brings her to the Baha ...more

Are you a big believer in fate? I am not sure if I do. I believe very much in karma but I have never had a palm reading or anything along those lines. I do also believe that when things hit rock bottom, they can only get better.

I got into Twisted Fates very easily, managing to read the book in two days while working a full time job, go me!! The first c

I thought Twisted Fated was enjoyable contemporary. I'm not sure I would classify this one as a romance. It's more a contemporary story about a woman who believes fate has put her back in the path of her soul mate. The book involves Laina whose life seems to be falling apart. When she meets Mason at a wedding, she thinks it could be a new start. Until she joins Mason in the Bahamas for his step brother's wedding. The groom happens to be her old love who she never thought she would see again. Is ...more

3.5 Stars! - Twisted Fate was a good book I really enjoyed reading. It was a sweet, quirky, and charming romance story and I really enjoyed it. This is one of the few romance books I've read but definitely one of the better ones I've read. The characters were beautifully crafted, and the plot was engaging and interesting (which is something I find lacking in most romances). But going back to the characters, I loved them! Each and every character was so different and unique, and they felt very re ...more

Twisted Fate has all the components of a great contemporary romance—loveable characters, romantic obstacles, witty dialogue, and an exotic location to boot. I read it a few months ago (but forgot to post my review—oops!) and I still think about it from time to time. I really enjoyed it! It’s a fun, flirty read that would make perfect beach or poolside reading. I flew through this one—once the drama started to unfold, I couldn’t put it down! I highly recommend adding this cute romantic debut to ...more

This story felt like a romantic comedy movie In 90's or 00's. I really enjoyed it. It is fun relaxed story. Writing is amazing. I just finished it one day. You don't need much time to get in to the story because it so simple. It is really great book to overcome your reading slump state

For me this was an easy-going fun read that I could get lost in wondering what was going to happen next and what Laina was going to do about her growing problems including her friends, family, failing bookstore and relationships. It was well paced and quick to get through, it didn't feel like it dragged at all while also not feeling like it went too fast which I appreciate as it's not often done well.

Laina was presented as a well-rounded character with her fair share of baggage which got unpacke

I got the amazing opportunity to work with Dana Miller on her debut novel "Twisted Fate". I got sent this book in exchange for an honest review and that's what I'm going to do now. I'm going to bring up a lot of aspect of this book so sit back and relax. Firstly my personal star rating is 5/5 stars. This book was amazing. It told a story about friendship, first love, grief and so much more. "Twisted Fate" checked all the boxes for me. It was heart warming, funny and heart wrenching in the best w ...more
