"The Black Madonna: A Pope's Deadly Obsession (DeFoix Historical Mystery)" by L. Lee Kane is an interesting story. Ever hear of the Cathars? They are a key to this story. In the 12th and 13th Centuries the Cathars apparently had something to do with Tarot cards. This ties into the book because when Luci de Foix was nine her parents were killed in a car accident. Interesting story, but it was told in a very confused style. Sometimes I felt whole sentences or paragraphs were missing. Grammar was iffy, verbs and pronouns did not match. Overall, it was a good read, but required a lot of concentration to keep going.
