I’ve been trying to follow the “law of attraction” and believe the positive affirmations I repeat to myself, but it’s hard to do when I keep tripping, falling face first, and running into men who I should stay away from.

Conducting inventory the morning after a one-night-stand is not something I should brag about when I planned to be happily married at this point in my lif

Milkman is the 5th standalone on the Man Cave romantic comedy series. If you enjoy outrageous and over the top novels of humor then I would recommend grabbing a copy of this one when it goes live. When I first began reading it I felt like I was reading a book based on The Office (from TV) as the heroines new boss had a few screws loose. This is one of the main reasons why I sat down and devoured the book in one sitti

Madelyn seems to have bad luck when it comes to her career choices; she goes from one job to another quite quickly. So when she gets a job fast with a start-up advertising company as a fashion stylist, she is excited. This should have made her suspicious, but she needed a job as her finances were looking bleak and in the red. Wesley Moon was a child model who was only known for one thing - the Got Milk? Kid. He was the cute childhood model with the milk mustache. After that, his resume was fille ...more

Milkman is book five in the Man Cave series but it can be read as a standalone. This one started off a little confusing for me. It started with a prologue from Wesley then we jumped Chapter One with Madelyn' s crazy life but once I saw the connection, I wasn't confused anymore.
Wesley was a child model for a milk commercial. After he has has second rate modelling jobs. . Being a model is not his dream job. Madelyn just started a new job at an advertising company. Her new company is crazy. Her bo

I am loving the Man Cave series by Shari J. Ryan. They are fun and over-the-top reads that are just fun to get lost in! In Milkman we get a story that will have you laughing out loud and wanting to know what will happen next. Maddy and Wesley are fun characters with so much chemistry and wacky moments.

Maddy and Wesley have been struggling with who they are and who they want to be separately. Believing their luck is changing with their new opportunity at a new company, they instead find themselv

Shari Ryan gives us yet another installment to her Man Cave series with her new release (Book 5) Milkman. Although Milkman is a part of a series of marvelous men by Ryan, you don’t necessarily have to read each of these as a series in order to meet Maddy and her milkman, Wesley.

Ryan created a unique slow burn of a romance between characters whose main message was to work on yourself before sharing a HEA. Both characters are searching for what they want out of life. With that comes a lot of hard

Milkman was a funny and interesting book with a unique and somewhat comedic story line. Both Wesley and Madelyn are down on their luck in terms of life and their employment status when they end up meeting through a mutual job oppportunity. The chemistry between them is there from the start, but they have a sort of slow burn friendship turned more. They both ultimately learn that you have to work on yourself before you can be the best you for someone else. I enjoyed the ending of the book.

Hands down my favorite Shari J. Ryan’s book that I have read to date!

Wesley & Madelyn has some hilarious banter that kept me laughing! And Madelyn’s roommate Layla had some of the best one liners throughout the story.

I love a book that can have me laughing and the next minute make me feel for the character. A great story and I look forward to more!

I voluntarily reviewed this book.

Good Story Masked by Childish Humour.

I see lots of people reviewing this as the funniest thing they've read. Maybe if you're 13. I barely cracked a smile. Definitely more ridiculous than funny, in my opinion. That all said, there's a decent story in there and that line in the bad towards the end "It was nice to see you again, Madelyn" actually made me cry!

This is book 5 in The Man Cave series and can be read as a standalone.

I have read the book and I have to say, and I know I may be alone, but I was a bit let down with this one. I had such high expectations from reading the last few. I saw the blurb and who doesn't like a beautiful male model advertising milk. Milkman, though well written I was just not as happy with it. The pace was a bit slow, and some jokes I didn’t get.

Wesley Moon got his start as the Get Milk kid. You know the one with the

The Man Cave series is one of the funniest rom-com I have read lately. Milkman had me laughing throughout the book. Wesley was a child model who is known for his commercials for milk. He is now an adult model but really wants to do something different. Maddy is trying to find out what she is suppose to be doing with her life. After losing her job, she thinks she's find the ideal job working for a start up advertising agency. But the job is not what she expected but she feels that she has to cont ...more

This is the 5th (4th that I’ve read) standalone book in Shari J. Ryan’s Man Cave series. It’s an oftentimes over the top rom-com with more milk puns than you’ll ever find in one place! Madelyn’s work situation and how she handles it was arguably my favorite part of this book, it was funny and so crazy, it’ll just suck you right in. The romance aspect of the story didn’t totally do

Milkman is the fifth installment in Shari Ryan's Man Cave series of standalones, and it's another romcom full of laugh-out-loud moments, awkward encounters and a slow burn between the two main characters.

Madelyn is working at a start-up advertising company -- one that has very loose morals -- when she meets Wesley, a model who was famous as a child for being the "Get Milk" kid. There are a few starts and stops for the two before they get together, but even once they do, their romance is on shaky

It all started when I got a new job, which came with a new guy. That’s when I managed to cause an unforeseeable disaster, which took down an entire company in less than a week.
The new job, the new guy and a big mouth led to another giant mistake. Then, one more for good measure.

Flash forward a couple of weeks, and ... I’ve got milk ... because I’m dating the milkman, and yes, milk did his body good.

Not only do milkmen still exist, but I’ve come to learn that some women hire a milkman to deliv

Shari Ryan has done it again with her Man Cave series--Milkman was hilarious and just what I needed!

I have adored all the 'man' stories, but this one tops them all. Seriously, there were moments I literally laughed out loud while reading it. Wesley and Madelyn's story was to die for--I kept shaking my head, asking myself how does Shari Ryan come up with this stuff! A long-time fan of the author, I love when Shari puts out a romantic comedy because she's just so dang good playing her characters b

Milkman is another wonderfully charming, hilarious, and steamy romance in Ryan's Man Cave series! Both Wesley and Madelyn have career and life goals that keep alluding them. Madelyn is living with a friend who uses her to start up new businesses and Wesley had a mom who forced him to use his looks instead of his brain. They are stuck on a path that is frustrating and they don't know how to change directions. No matter how hard they try to fix their situations, things just never work the way they ...more

Who is Wesley Moon? What does he do for a living? What is he best known for? When interviewed about it, what does he say? How does Jules, the interviewer, try to spin his comments? Who is Madelyn Wall and what does she do for a living? What is Virtual Generation? By Chapter 3, I was shaking my head in disbelief about Mick. Madelyn's roommate Layla is plain crazy....I'm not sure if that is good or bad. Wesley is a trip! I really like him. This was my first book in this standalone series and now I ...more

Milkman is the 5th book in the Man Cave series, but I had not read the others before reading this one. This didn't effect my understanding of the story, so you can definitely read it as a standalone. This book had me laughing out loud in parts and wanting to scream at characters in the other. Madelyn is a bit down on her luck with jobs. Her search to find herself and what she truly wants to do is so relatable. It's so hard as a young adult navigating the work force and trying to figure out who y ...more

Brace for it, the puns are strong in this one. Maddy is fantastically snarky, and I loved her for every sarcastic comment. Wesley was just an utter sweetheart. The pair of them end up tangled in a situation I just can’t even begin to describe. Social media nightmare? Check. Career-ending possibilities? Also check. Funniest, most ridiculous thing imaginable? Double check. There were moments that Wesley and Maddy didn’t completely “gel” for me, but the bad puns, the almost dad-level bad jokes, and ...more

Shari J Ryan's rom-coms never disappoint and this was no exception. I laughed, I loved, I rolled my eyes, I swooned. I fell head over heels for Wesley! I love his and Madelyn's banter. Every wall that she tries to put up, he tears it down. As a model, all he is ever seen for is his body and desperately wants someone to get to know the intellectual man behind the sexy body. Madelyn is ready to set the world on fire and check some goals off her list and that doesn't include the sexy model that tri ...more

Shari made me appreciate milk in a totally different way in this hilarious Rom-Com. I don’t like milk, but let me tell you, I will get over it to have him deliver to my door. This cover is also perfect. You won’t want to miss this if you need a laugh and lots of swoon worthy moments. I am loving this series by Shari Ryan.

This book was such a fun read with so many laugh out loud moments. It was a fast paced read. Once I stared I couldn't put it down. Wesley and Madelyn's relationship was slow burn. It started out where they ended up working on the same project gone wrong. To becoming kind of friends by default to a undeniable chemistry that they couldn't deny. This book was filled with chaos, crazy side characters and a lot of sexiness. But Ryan did sneak in a little bit of

Milkman is a sweet, fun romance! Being young and in your twenties is a time to discover who you are and what you want to do with the rest of your life and that is exactly where Wesley and Maddy are in their lives.
This book is filled with fun and weird dating moments that will either have you happy you don’t have to date anymore or wondering how you will navigate this crazy world of dating.

Another great book in Shari J Ryans Man Cave series. This story can be read as a complete standalone though.

In this story we are treated to the delights that are Maddy and Wesley. Maddy has had a run of bad luck with her job prospects, so when she's offered a new, almost perfect job, just like that, over the phone, it almost sounds too good to be true. Well her suspicions should be right! Enter crazt receptionsist and slight crazier boss... In fact the whole office are a little odd!
