I have read every book in the Windsor Falls Series and must say I can't get enough! I've been hooked since Coming Home! Kat and Sebastian were wow! That's the only word I can think to describe their characters. Such an amazing story I can't wait to see what more Kimberley comes out with!

Kat De Luca has grown up working in her family's bakery and she loves it but she also wants to spread her wings and bring new ideas and recipes into the bakery. Unfortunately her father is extremely opposed to the idea and Kat is torn between following her own dreams and doing what is expected of her.

Sebastian Walker is a cardiologist who works with his best friend, Flynn, who is engaged to Kat's best friend Katie. Sebastian grew up id a dysfunctional family with is parents each having several marriages and it taught Sebastian not to believe in love and he wishes he had a sibling.

As Sebastian and Kat grow closer the differences in how they grew up creates tension between them and Sebastian is confused on why Kat wants to follow her own dreams instead of following her father's dreams. Can Sebastian understand where Kat is coming from before it's too late?

This is another good book in the series and it looks at two different perspectives on family and marriage.

I liked Kat and I really felt bad that she was struggling so much with her dad. I was surprised he was so against her trying new things as she had gone to school in Paris and now all of her training was almost useless. She had such a talent for creating new things and her dad wanted to stick to what they had always done. Kat didn't want to hurt her dad but she needed to follow her own dreams and she was so torn. I was so happy for Kat when things happened between her and Sylvia and I hoped this was the start of good things!

Sebastian was such a smart man yet he watched his parents marry so many times that he no longer believed in marriage, yet he believed in family. He was a very dedicated doctor and when Kat's dad had a heart attack he was right there to help him and save his life.

There was an obvious chemistry between Kat and Sebastian but Kat didn't want a relationship with Sebastian while he was her dad's doctor. Yet due to their respective friendships with Katie and Flynn things began to get heated between Kat and Sebastian and things progressed past a friendship level.

My heart broke for Kat when she returned from being away with Katie, Sebastian and Flynn. I knew why she had kept things to herself and I wasn't surprised that there was a blow up but I was shocked at how big it really was. The things her dad said to her blew my mind and I was mad at Sebastian after for the things that he said to Kat.

I loved the scene where Kat went back to the bakery and caught her family!! Such an awesome scene and it really made them understand her more.

The end was great and I am glad Sebastian realized the error of his ways!!

Kat DeLuca has grown up in Windsor Falls. Besides going to Paris to learn French cuisine, she has remained in Windsor Falls. She works the family business, a very Italian bakery, baking the same thing each day. It makes her dad happy, but she wants more. Then in the early morning hours, a customer shows up early wanting to buy some baked goods. Enter Sebastian Walker, who unbeknownst to Kat is her friend Flynn's best friend. When her dad suffers a heart attack in the bakery, handsome Dr. Walker is there to help. What Kat doesn't realize is Dr. Walker is not only helping her dad get better, but also that not every guy is Mr. Wrong. But Dr. Walker has his own baggage with dating and love. He doesn't believe in love, all thanks to his dysfunctional family. A friendship begins and soon Sebastian is close to breaking down his walls and taking a chance with Kat. But there is a problem, he does not understand her relationship with her father and her need to become something more than baking the same thing every day. This is the one thing Kat can't let go.
I have loved the Windsor Falls series so this book was a no brainer to read. Kimberley O'Malley has a way of bringing her characters to life and creating stories that draw you in and have you cheering for a HEA. Kat and Sebastian's story is just another fine example of Ms. O'Malleys talent. I will be sad when this series ends. Thank you Kimberley O'Malley for another chapter of the love fest in Windsor Falls.

Finding Kat

I did not realize this was part of a series (book 5 at that) until after I read it. I don't feel like you need to read them in order as I had no problems following this. I will go back and read the others at some point. Sebastian is a cardiologist who stops at a bakery to take baked goods to a work meeting. Kat De Luca works in the bakery and opened up a little early for this customer, even though she normally does not do this. She feels an instant attraction and draw to this man, and he feels the same thing. Unbeknownst to them at their meeting, Kat's best friend had been trying to set them up on a blind date for months. This is a story of opposites attract. Kat grew up in a loving, close knit Italian family and is working in the family business. Sebastian had parents who divorced and then kept making bad decisions, so he had sworn off love. Kat's dad has a heart attack when Sebastian was in the bakery, so he quickly goes to work with CPR. This jump starts the relationship. Kat has what Sebastian always wanted, a loving family full of traditions, but Kat yearns to bake more than the tried and true Italian specialty's De Luca's is known for. She wants to put to use her Parisian training. Will they end up together? Can they put their differences aside and find happiness together? Read it to find out!

Kat was a strong independent woman. She was fiercely loyal to those she loved, even putting others wishes before her own, but she wanted more. She loved creating yummy goodies but was stifled by the family traditions, same old same old. She wanted what her best friend had found, the true love of a good man. She only found duds. Katie had tried to set her up with her fiance Flynn's best friend and partner Sebastian but somehow they had never met. When Sebastian came into her family bakery they had no idea who the other was but there was an instant attraction. There was only one problem, Sebastian was a confirmed bachelor, growing up a product of nasty divorce and revolving step parents had left him with no desire to try marriage. The attraction between them was almost combustible but it was a small town and their best friends were getting married Not wanting to take the chance of things ending badly and then being awkward Sebastian tried to stay away from her but Kat was like a sirens call. After a trip to Saint Lucia where Katie and Flynn eloped things were heating up until they came home and things blew up with her dad and Sebastian only made things worse. As we know, love doesn't make everything easy for two people. And it's worse when both parties are stubborn.

Finding Kat is the final book of the Windsor Falls Series. It is sweet and romantic. This book is Kat and Sebastian's story. I loved the backstory of this couple. The way they came together wasn't the most traditional but it was perfect. Kat and Flynn were made for each other.
I enjoyed seeing Katie and Flynn take the next step in their relationship when they travel to Saint Lucia to marry. Kat and Sebastian go with to the brides maid and best man. During the trip these two both find something more. Kat wants the loving relationship her parents had. While Sebastian doesn't want a relationship because of his parents being unstable & selfish. Sebastian with support from his friends, he was able to fix a mess he made w Kat. While Katie helps him realize that he is nothing like his mom and dad. He was then able to get past his fear of relationships and was willing to anything to share his life with Kat. Both Sebastian and Kat got to have their HEA.

*I'd love to see the author write a novella for this series. Marco De Luca and Sylvia who owns the inn have their own story and a HEA.

Kimberley O'Malley, Thank you for writing another beautiful story for the Windsor Falls Series. Finding Kat was my absolute favorite out of ALL 5 books.

Kat works at her family's bakery. Her papa is old school Italian and stubborn. She wants to try new things while he wants everything to stay the same. While Sabastian comes in one morning to order pastrys her papa has a heart attack. Thank God Sabastian the hot heart dr was there. To help save his life. Sparks fly between Kat and Sabastian. But those two fight it tooth and nail. Sabastian came from a home where his parents couldn't stay with one person for any amount of time. He had givin up on having any kind of relationship with any woman. Til he saw Kat and started to wonder and her and him. My favorite part is when he decides that it's time for him to stop being stupid and go talk to Kat and try to fix things. Love this book. Love the romance and sparks that flys. The family dilemma is 100% true. It happens every day. Ya'll this is a must read.

Omg!!! I love family drama in a book. Ekaterina aka Kat is a young single baker that helps run the family business. The bakery is all she’s known but always wanted more and never knowing how to get more. She and her best friends are always together and when Katie met Flynn and planning a wedding Kat has heard it all and about Flynn’s best friend that Flynn and Katie have been trying to get to meet but something comes up. Sebastian is Flynn’s best friend and hasn’t had the best role models for happily ever after and marriage. So he isn’t into one person, but when he runs into her bakery while closed and asking for help since he needs pastries for work. Sparks fly but unbeknownst to them these two were destined to meet. As the story goes on it gets more entangled and feelings develop them never been like before. Great book!!!

Finding Kat follows the the characters from Windsor Falls. This book mainly follows Kat De Lucas, Katie’s best friend and Sebastian, a cardiac dr and Flynn’s best friend.
The story follows Kat and her turbulent relationship with her father Kat works in the family bakery following traditional family recipes but wanting to experiment with her own ideas, ideas her father is not happy about. During the stress of arguing about the bakery her father suffers a heart attack and Kat is plagued with guilt over feeling responsible for his health vs trying to fulfil her dreams. Queue in more drama when she meets Sebastian, who has sworn off long term relationships after watching his parents destroy each other but wants to date Kat.
The story follows the emotional rollercoaster that Kat is going through, and continues Katie and Flynn’s story with their up coming wedding.

I have read every book in the Windsor Falls series so far, and I'm looking forward to the last entry in a few months. I've found that Kimberley O'Malley's characters seem to get better with each book - deeper, richer and more complex. Here, we have Sebastian and Kat, two people who could not be more different, in both personality and upbringing. He's terrified of commitment and complications. She is a true believer - marriage, family, children. How do these two connect with any real meaning? Fate steps in to bring them together, but not without some family drama, near death experiences, and a healthy dose of angst. I really enjoyed Kat and Sebastian's story and it was lovely catching up with earlier characters and the changes in their lives.

Finding Kat is the first book from this series by Kimberley O' Malley that I have read. I have to say that it was soooo good I now have to go read the rest of them. Through out the whole book it left me wanting to find out about the friends of the main characters Kat and Sebastian. She's a family orientated, white picket fence dreaming baker and he's a jaded about love doctor. They come from two very different views on just about everything and when they meet sparks explode. Try as they might to stay away from each other the connection is just too strong to deny. You won't be disappointed in this book I can guarantee that! Sit down on a cloudy day and let this sweet treat make it better!!!

I loved this story. This is book 5 in the Windsor Falls series. We meet Kat De Luca. She is a pastry chef at her families bakery shop. One morning she opens the door to a handsome stranger that needs pastries for his meeting. Sebastian  was the handsome guy. He works with with Flynn at ther cardiology practice. Kat and Sebastian are very busy people. Their friends keep trying to set them up on dates. Little do they realize it was to each other. I loved the romance between Kat and  Sebastian. I enjoyed the bickering between Kat and her father. So Italian. Such a great series!

Good read

Sebastian has gone through life not believing in love. After watching his parents split and marry multiple times its just to hard to believe there is just one person out there ment for you.

Kat is the opposite of Sebastian. She grew up in a house hold filled with nothing but love!

Does one last minute trip to De Luca's bakery bring them both together or can they not get over each others beliefs?

Two very strong and stubborn people end up meeting and sparks are flying every where, but one comes from a very tight family where commitment is a must and the other from a family that never stayed together very long before moving on to the next person. So when the two met they tried to keep it simple and not a thing but as time goes on and the story gets going you will love the way the author takes this story and ends it..

This was such an enjoyable read. The combination of great characters, heart warming storyline and emotions that locked me in from the opening pages. With each chapter Kat's journey from family traditions to standing up for what she wants and believes in, got stronger and stronger. Throw in a sexy cardiologist and you get the perfect read.

Deliciously Good

Being a baker, I know the passion that Kat feels for making mouth watering pastries. Her passion is what brings her and Sebastian together. It also may be what breaks them apart. This story is complex and romantic. It is also deliciously great. If you love a great HEA, grab your copy and start reading! From a True Fan... Pam James.

Loved this book. Kat works in her families bakery, and itches to use her Paris training to create new, exciting treats. Her dad is dead against it. She feels frustrated and unappreciated, under used in the bakery She is drawn to a cardiologist, and things heat up after he saves her dad, who has suffered a heart attack. They are polar opposites, and the chemistry is sweat heat! Recomended.
