Love this book! Lots of little essays you can read and learn things from. Garienos has it and whenever I go to his house I read another chapter on another bit of the UK we have visited. I've been visiting for nearly 6 years and I still dipping into the book, just wish they would make a paperback.

The photographs are lovely, the writing varied and informative, and the maps somewhat useful. Together, they provide a good overview of the landscape of England.
