I thought this was a great read. When there is already so much to do to prepare for a baby, it was nice that this book was not too long that it didn’t take a lot of time to read each month. Yet it was not too short either. Each month’s reflection was just long enough to put me in a good frame of mind, to stop and think about my pregnancy on a spiritual level. I may go back and reread portions of the book while I wait the final few weeks for my baby to come as some sections really spoke to me.

I couldn’t recommend this book enough to other pregnant women! Deep Scriptural reflections are offered that not only affirm the journey of pregnancy but also raise her eyes higher to God’s call, as his beloved daughter and as a mother. Each reflection encouraged me and deepened my prayer and it was such a blessing to find during this pregnancy.

I was gifted this book by my mom, and I’m so very grateful for it! I had fallen very far behind in reading it month-to-month, so I found myself restarting it 2 days before my due date. I finished it in one sitting, and I think it was exactly what I needed to spiritually prepare myself for bringing my baby into this world. I feel ready, calm, excited, and like I have the Lord helping me through this journey. This was a great read!

Beautiful devotional! I would love to read it again, since it provided me so much peace during this new season and journey of pregnancy. I couldn't recommend this book enough to other pregnant women! Such a blessing to find this book as a FTM because God keeps encouraging me through prayer and the Scripture reflections found on this devotional. In fact, the best advice I could give any woman and marriage expecting a baby in their family: Do not read all the 1,000 books you find on parenting and motherhood, even if you hear about them from friends and family, just go get this one and trust me, your pregnancy experience will be awesome and amazing fact: you won't feel overwhelmed!

This is my third pregnancy having this book on my shelf, but the first time I’ve actually read the whole thing. The reflections are short, which is good because during pregnancy it’s easy to get overwhelmed with information. So much time goes by between the months that I can see how this book can easily get forgotten, but if you stick with the reflections month after month, this book really gives you some good things to consider about the spiritual side of bringing a baby into the world.

I give this between 3.5/4 stars as it isn’t normally a book I would have picked up, but I was given it as a gift. I liked the scripture, reflections and prayers for the 9 months of pregnancy/welcoming your baby. There were definitely things I hadn’t thought of before or considered. I will keep it on myself for encouragement during other pregnancies.

A beautiful book with short meditations and prayers for each month from desire to have a child to the dedication after the birth. A great way for mamas to intentionally enter into the amazing miracle God is weaving together in your womb.
I will worship through it each pregnancy (if the LORD should bless us with another) and tell my sisters about it!

THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! 1000/10⭐️

I highly recommend it to anyone pregnant (no matter it be baby #1 or #5) or desiring a child. I don’t know what type of woman I would be without having read these monthly meditations throughout my pregnancy. The fruits of this book are so sweet!!
