After reading some emotionally-heavy novels, I needed a bit of a palate cleanser, and this book was perfect for it! It was a fun, fast-paced adventure with some fluff romance, some soap-opera-esque drama, and some over-the-top heroics. If this were made into a movie, I would assume that Jason Statham would play the lead. Ha! Seriously though, it was a fun, adventure novel, perfect to curl up and read before bed.
