What would you do if you suddenly had super powers? I’m sure we have all fantasized about it. I know I have! That’s exactly what happened to our main character, Miranda. We follow her as she struggles with her new found powers and living her life. There is a classic comic book feel to the story and I could appreciate that. There are some pretty cool characters. This book is about Miranda, an aspiring actress from Olympus City who randomly gets powers similar to Super Man. She struggles between pursuing her budding career and being the hero for people in need.
If you like super heroes and enjoy a strong (physically) female lead you’ll enjoy this book. It was a quick and entertaining read.

Daniel Sherrier is a writer based in central Virginia. He is the author of the novel "The Flying Woman." A College of William & Mary graduate, he has worked for community newspapers, written a few plays that have been performed, and earned his black belt in Thai kickboxing.
