True story: I used to cut up bodies. No, not for fun, you sickos–for work. After reaching the age of majority and fleeing the clutches of an overprotective mother, I went to university like a good boy.
More than a decade later and an alphabet soup of letters after my name, I found myself looking down the double-chamber of a microscope at an eyeball. Feeling ironically introspective, I decided that it was time for a change.
After seventy plus novels and more than a million copies sold, I’ve found my true calling, one that also includes a plethora of letters. Hopefully you see something in my catalog that you like, something to feast your eyes on.
I also have two spooky podcasts that are appropriate for ALL ages, so long as you like to be scared: P.T. Logan's Five Minutes of Terror and Camp Fear. Both are FREE and available on all podcast platforms. For MATURE audiences, I've created two fiction podcasts, Nightmare Residue and Bad Priest.

This was a heartbreaking story for all involved. While it was sad it gives us the backstory of Chase. It’s a must read if you want to know what happened to both her and Georgina. I loved seeing where Agent Stitts fits into the picture!
These girls were searched out. They were going to be grabbed at some point. They were both victims. When I was growing up we were taught don’t talk to strangers but how do you get away from 2 grown men? I used to go to the Air Force camping ground on my own to watch the planes or swing on the swings…..I could have disappeared there….it was outside the base. I walked home miles from school if I missed the bus. I was in elementary school. I had no fear. My children I put the fear in them. My granddaughter is 7 and she tells me everything. She knows I’m the safe person she can talk to that doesn’t get mad at her. You have to start teaching them when they are young of the dangers in life. Too many children still go missing in this day.
We are going to see Georgina again. It will a wild ride I’m sure!
These stories are scary real. I've never been let down. O truly start 1 finish it and go on to the next one. But its Dec 11 and I have a dozen Christmas hats to make.
I may have to try having them read to me. Thank you for putting so much joy in my life. It does feel like Patrick reads to my soul. Again you keep writing and I will read them All
Chase and Stitts have done it again. They've solved another difficult case in spite of fighting their own demons and each other. I couldn't put it down - tellin myself "just one more chapter", until suddenly it's 3:30 am!
Another excellent book by Patrick Logan filling in more details of what happened to Georgina...the missing years. You have to read the complete series (so far). He is a great Canadian writer that I have read for a long time.
Maybe this should have been revealed sooner so that some understanding of this maniacal women would occur. I still don't like her and she needs to clean up her act but this short story sheds a bit more light on her destructive personality.
I can see how this would happen...all of it. How Georgina was brainwashed and still grew up happy and loved, while her real family was a shattered mess. Great story and I miss Chace.
This was acutally excellent. We get Georgie perspective on what happened over 30 years ago. We meet Chase's parents. I lol because her mother and father's dynamics reminded me of Chase and Stitts. As per the author Georgie will be back in future books, can't wait for that.
This book was very good, however, I was hoping there would be more about Georgina/Riley as she was growing up, getting pregnant and when Chase finally found her.
This story relates how Chase got to where she is at. It tells of the story of what happened one day at a fair in town and the event that lives on right now. Tells of what happened to both her and her sister Georgina and what happened after.
