The novels in Marguerite Kaye’s Matches Made in Scandal series have all been linked by the presence of the mysterious Procurer, a woman whose business is matching people who have seemingly insoluble problems with someone who stands a very good chance of helping them to resolve them – and that person is usually a woman to whom life has not been kind and who deserves a second chance.

In A Scandalous Winter Wedding, readers are finally given more than a glimpse of the Procurer and we learn more of

Truly awesome book, I dont know how our author does it, but each new book surpasses the last, though the last still remains amazing.

As always I will not give spoilers but will say that though there are many twists and turns on this captivating roller-coaster of emotions, I will say also that its brilliantly written, has just the right amount of naughtiness and our Heroine and Hero most definitely earn their HEA.

Thank you for writing this awesome book xxxxx

A Scandalous Winter Wedding (Mills & Boon Historical) is the fourth book in the Matches Made in Scandal series by Marguerite Kaye. It can easily be read as a standalone story.

I have read the other books in the series and each one has been a pleasure to read, all about how women who find themselves, through no fault of their own, shunned from society, or down on their luck. The Procurer matches these women to the needs of gentlemen who hire her to 'make the impossible, possible'. Such as one

I received this ARC from the author in return for a honest review, all thoughts are my own.

This was an absolute fantastic book, and a fitting end to what has been a brilliant series, and for me I can highly recommend not only this book but all the others as well.

When I think back to the first book and all the other books, I was always curious about the Procurer, mainly why she started and what circumstances lead her to this profession, because as we know for a woman to have a career and earning

This is the 1st time I've read a book by Marguerite. I loved the story for it had a air of mystery from start to finish. I had a hard time putting it down when bedtime came. I liked how Kristen Blair took a bad situation and made it into a useful way to live. Cameron Dunbar had a problem that only Kristen could solve because of the work she did. I loved the way Marguerite wove the story. She had some action in it as well as some mystery going on. She had past characters drawn into the story maki ...more
A Scandalous Winter Wedding is book four in The Matches Made in Scandal series. I have read book three His Rags-To-Riches Contessa and really enjoyed it. So I was excited to read this book that tells the story of the Procurer. It was alright, not as good as book three. When Kirstin Blair agrees to help an old love, her life is turned upside down. Can she keep her deepest secret from him? I found myself periodically skipping through this book. I felt there was too much dialogue and that the story ...more

It is with a sad heart that I am writing the final review of this wonderful series, over the last three books we have been slowly building up to this book; The Procurer’s story and this is a fantastic and very satisfying end to this magical series. But Ms Kaye has finished with a real hum-dinger in the form of this; A Scandalous Winter Wedding. I have loved the whole concept of this series, it’s imaginative, stylish, romantic all with a touch of mystery and intrigue.

As we have seen over the last

“Kirstin was not given to wild imaginings ...She reminded herself that she was The Procurer, the keeper of secrets, that there was no reason whatsoever to fear her secret might be discovered.”

The fourth and final book in the ‘Matches Made in Scandal’ series finds Kirstin Blair, the mysterious Procurer who assisted the couples in the previous books, taking on the case of a missing young woman, and finding herself unexpectedly reunited with the man who changed the course of her life six years earl

The Matches Made In Scandal series have all featured women down on their luck through no fault of their own, offered a second chance by a mysterious woman known only as The Procurer, who specializes in resolving problems beyond the skill of anyone else.

In this, the fourth and final of the series, we get the story of the mysterious Procurer herself, Kristin Blair. Approached by a desperate client, Mr Cameron Dunbar, who needs to locate his missing niece, Kristin cannot turn the case down out of c

I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review.

Finally, we meet the mysterious Procurer! This is book 4 in the series, but apart from a few mentions of past characters mostly, it can be read as a stand alone book.

I love the cover of this book, though the title has too many spoilers... unlike the previous books in this series, we learn less about the secret past, though the end makes up for this mostly.

Kristin Blair is our Procurer, a woman with smarts and who has made survival som

London - 1879

Kirstin Blair is shocked to receive a letter from Cameron Dunbar, a man who had come very close to destroying her. She has not seen hm in six years and he only knows her as The Procurer, not her real name. It has been difficult for her not to think about him and how she would love to see him again, before once again putting him in the back of her mind.

As The Procurer, she dresses completely in black. A mysterious woman, she deftly makes impossible things happen. Wondering if he reme

I loved this book. It often seems that my most favourite book of a series is the last one.
Kirsten has been a feature of every "Matches made in Scandal" story and it was exciting to get to her story. She had history with Cameron and this makes her consider her previous actions and wonder if they were justified.
Kirsten has worked hard to create a meaningful business and is a successful employer. She's content with her life and is realistic about how a romance with Cameron will change her own sit

Another winner from Marguerite Kaye. This is from the Matches Made in Scandal serious & when I realised it was the story of the Procurer, who features in the other books I was delighted! I love meeting characters again. As usual, Marguerite delights with her storyline, attention to detail and delicious descriptions. The twist in this book really caught me by surprise. Highly recommended. 😊😊❤❤
