Yeah, Kris doesn’t either. But since his ship got stranded above earth, and an antigravity accident left him with flying reindeer, he’s decided to make the legend come to life. The presents he brings aren’t the traditional dolls and rocking horses. Instead he finds kids who need help— serious help— and gives it to them. Cancer cured. Houses fixed. Parents healed. There’s one little girl he helped years ago who he’s kept tabs on. And she’s grown into a beautiful woman. He’s forced himself to keep his distance, but when an equipment malfunction gets him stuck in a chimney, Blitzen brings her to his rescue. Will she be able to accept him? Or will the truth of his identity drive her away?
In Love With Alien Santa Claus is standalone, science fiction holiday romance story that features a loving human female and a generous alien. This page-turning science fiction romance story has no cliffhanger, no cheating, and a guaranteed happy ending!
Be aware: contrary to the cover, Alien Santa is not, repeat not, red!
Heroine is a nitwit of the highest order, and in the normal course of things I'd be outraged that she got Alien Santa. But he was a moron, so have at it!
Some edit issues, with weird fragments of first person POV intruding.
Listen, I am exactly the market for a batshit convoluted scifi romance that barely makes sense, and I could have enjoyed it for that. Some goofy pseudo-science to make Santa "lore"...."make sense" (so many air quotes I apologise lol). Anyway, stuff like matter reducers! something in the atmosphere makes him age slower or stop altogether! Fine, I'll run with goofy, I love aliens! Considering the title and premise it was better written than I might have expected, even if all that "lore" was very info-dumpy.
I couldn't get behind this as a love story, because our heroine (Jessica) has been carrying a torch for Santa for sixteen years, to the point where she's doing her PhD dissertation on folklore...for Santa.....In this economy?! And she's NOT independently wealthy! Anyway---she had leukemia as a child, SUPER awful, of course, and Santa healed her, she woke up during the process and has always maintained her belief. So it feels weirdly hero-worshipy, parent-ey, even before we add in the fact that her birth parents abandoned her and her relationship has a hundreds-of-years age-gap.
Now on his end, Santa...literally knows when Jessica is sleeping since he's been watching her for sixteen years. The author obviously wanted to make the book shorter so she needed a reason for instalove--to be fair I quit at like 56% so maybe she makes something up later, but at least for the first half it goes something like, when healing kids, they didn't wake-up....except Jessica! So of course Kris (the titular alien Santa) develops a "connection" with her that "only recently" turned to something more.
I think what truly killed this for me was her being a virgin because come-ON I can eat so much shit but I will not, cannot keep reading once it becomes clear our heroine basically 'saved' her virginity for Santa, maybe I'm just a party pooper but not one boy Jessica? You're at least 22 and a somewhat sexual being, not one dude caught your fancy?! It just makes it worse that Santa's been stalking her this whole time....
Which reminds me, she mentions a "creepy" neighborhood stalker, which I guess is supposed to juxtapose unfavorably with peeping Santa? That should've been my last straw but it was early enough in the book I wanted to keep trying. But like, anyone watching you this much (an elf mentions Santa checking on Jessica daily...and it's basically a video feed....is Santa the FBI agent in our webcams?!) is freaky. Yadda yadda, modern feminism is letting women decide for themselves what is right, I agree, but this book is a rushed gimmicky santa book not a thoughtful considered mediation on privacy and boundaries....so I reserve the right to criticize.
Anyway, anyway! It was almost fun? Happy Holidays!
When Jessica was a little girl she was real sick but on Christmas Santa came and he cured her. Her foster mother wouldn't believe her but Jessica knew what saw. As she got older her career path lead her to folklore and Santa was what her work featured. Kris was drawn to the woman he cured when she was a child. He has followed her all of her life and now he knows that she has to be his. When Santa "Kris" gets into some trouble doing his work one of the reindeers goes for Jessica for help. What will Jessica do once she sees her Santa again?
This is a great story and very original. It draws you in from the first page and captivates you until the end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
Because the summary is very straightforward about the details of the story, I won’t repeat it. I just want to say this is a delightful story provided by the author to remind us that there’s always room for a miracle in our lives – and kindness and love can come from anyone. In this story line, a sweet alien uses the gifts he has acquired due to his own “mishap” with a meteor storm and uses them to pass on the most valuable of all gifts – a real Christmas Miracle -- to those in need.
Our “Santa”, Kristarkon Clausarkar, was stranded on Earth after a meteor storm did damage to his ship. Aside from the effects it had on him, the reindeer he was studying developed the power to fly and increased intelligence. So when Blitzen heard the children excitedly talking about Santa Clause, Kris and Blitzen decided to do what they could to make the season special for children in need, just like the original Saint that the Santa story was based on, Saint Nicholas of Myra.
During the years of helping children, Kris developed a special bond with one of the little girls when he healed her many years before in the hospital. She had awakened while he was healing her and always believed in him. She was special and so he checked on her periodically as she was growing up. Jessica is now an adult, but when Kris ran into some trouble in the chimney when his matter-displacement device failed and he needed help, Blitzen knew who to go to, who he could trust. Will Jessica Lane come to help him? Or better yet, will she decide to stay?
This is an adorable and clever story that had me laughing and enjoying the author’s twist on Santa Clause. The characters were fun and likable. Grab a copy of this quick read and enjoy the Christmas season like never before!
Of course, from the title alone, I knew I would have to suspend any expectations for reality in this story and...for the most part, I was successful at doing this and able to enjoy the story. Overall, this was an interesting new take on Santa Claus and the story was done nearly perfectly! The only part that I had a hard time with was how this Santa got stuck in the chimney! I simply don't understand how he could have gotten stuck when he was capable of altering the size of other parts of his anatomy? I suppose it's possible that, in the heat of the moment, it didn't occur to him to do that...Just as it didn't occur to him to use his powers on the reindeer until it was suggested to him...because of the fact that he was so used to using his matter displacement technology every year before but it was one of those things that made it slightly difficult to stay fully immersed in the story. Perhaps if, after he first altered the size of his anatomy, his future Mrs. Claus had asked him why he didn't do that in the chimney and he explained that it didn't occur to him I might not have been bothered by that detail. If it wasn't for that detail taking me out of the story I would have given this an easy 4-4.5 Star rating for the creativity of the idea and execution of it! As it stands, because of that creativity and execution, I give this an easy 3.75 Stars and...even if I hadn't read the sample of Alien Prince Charming at the end I would have been excited to read more of her work! After reading that sample, though, I can't wait to finish reviewing this so I can borrow THAT book! Keep up the great work!

I received this book for free from in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
This was a really quick, sweet read. One that was over the top with the Santa myth. That said though it was so enjoyable! I must say that Griz was my favorite character even though he is a secondary character. He was great in that all he wanted to do was be something more than an elf. As far as the main characters go Kris and Jessica they were so wonderful.
Jessica woke while in the hospital when she was little on Christmas Eve. In waking she saw Santa and the miracle he gave her. From that moment on she believed and no one or nothing could convince her otherwise. Little did she know was that she made an impression on Santa as well. So much so that he has been watching and visiting her since that fateful night.
Now Santa is stuck and need help. Help that only his little human can give him. In helping him Jessica finds that even when you discover the person believed in ins't exactly who or what you thought they were, there is still magic. A magic that seems as though fate brought together. If you are looking for an amazing read that won't leave you hanging this is the one for you. This review was originally posted on A Lucky Grace
Jessica first saw Santa when she was five years old when he visited a very sick neighbor child. Later that child was discovered miraculously healed. So when she was diagnosed with Leukemia the next year she prayed for a Santa visit. Christmas Eve she was woken up when Santa was healing her. That started a bond and love for Christmas that she never outgrew. Now she is grown and studying folktales and legend and wrote her dissertation on Santa. Kris is an alien who was trapped on Earth heard about the legend of Santa. Since the meteor shower that crashed his ship gave him immortality and super healing powers, he decides to help needy people. He even had psychic flying reindeer. Even though he has visited hundreds of kids every year for centuries, Jessica has always been special. He keeps visiting her year after year and he has strong desires for the beautiful grown woman. When one Christmas Eve, he starts to have technological problems his reindeer get Jessica to help. They tell her that Kris knows when she is awake and when she is sleeping because he can't help looking in on her everyday. Maybe it is time for a Mrs. Claus. I really enjoyed this original and funny love story. I voluntarily received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.
It was a pleasure to read this exceptionally, well-written Sci-Fi alien romance, the story-line & plot is entertaining and written with some interesting incidents. The characters are wonderful with some quirky personalities. It is about: an alien (Kris) who was stranded on earth years ago due an unfortunate accident which also leaves him with flying reindeer. He decides to become the legend of Santa Clause but instead of presents, he helps those in financial or medical need. An equipment malfunction gets him stuck in a chimney, and one of the reindeer (Blitzen) brings a young woman (Jessica) to his rescue, he wonders if she would be able to accept him as he is. There is: an alien Santa Claus, alien elves, a crashed spaceship, flying reindeer, teleportation, memories, attractions, obsession, manipulations, amazement, bribery, a family dinner, proof, shock, acceptance, happiness, trust, love and some steamy scenes. I absolutely enjoyed reading this Sci-Fi alien romance and would recommend it to people who enjoy reading this genre.
Jessica believes in Santa Claus but is surprised to be asked to help get him out of the Chimney. When she was six Jessica had spent Christmas Eve in hospital being treated for Leukemia. She had awaken when someone bumped into he bed and when she opened her eyes she saw Santa Claus who touched her arms making her glow. The next morning she was all cured. Sixteen years later she still leaves out the milk. cookies and carrots for Santa. Kristarkon Clausarkar an alien who crashed on Earth centuries ago and he and his crew have tried to blend in but to make use of powers they gained in the crash they pick up on the Santa myth. Each year they help the most needy. This year things go wrong and he ends up stuck in a chimney and Blitzen has the idea to get help and Jessica lives nearby. A lovely Christmas romance to relax and enjoy. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I signed up for this because I love everything SciFi and boy am I glad I did. This has everything I could possibly have asked for. Kris is just divine, not only is he incredibly hot but he has a heart as big as the sky and as for his family, just the sweetest people. With the Christmas season approaching the idea of the miracles that Kris performs is just idyllic and that is one of the reasons the book is so wonderful, it just took me to a happy place. Jessica was so open and loving, because of her experience with Kris when she was a young girl she knows that miracles are possible but will she be able to accept the truth of what Kris actually is. The characters are beautifully written and the story is hot and sweet and just perfect.
Kristarkon Clausarkar has known Jessica and watched over her since she was a child and he cured her. Now Jessica is a grown woman and Kris is in need of saving and his elf calls on Jess to help. Now that Jessica has real proof of Santa, she wants to tell everyone that she was right and was cured by him. Santa is very interested in a more intimate connection with the woman he's had a crush on for a very long time and Jessica feels the same. This was a great telling of a fantasy that becomes real as Jessica gets to introduce Kris to her mom and family. Kris brings Jessica to his ship, aka North Pole so she can experience what his life is like and shows her the real meaning of Christmas through his eyes.
A quick, short, fun read. Interesting change of the Santa Claus story with points I thought for uniqueness. Some of the story points were over the top rediculous - being upset because wasn't one to deliver the gifts every year, 'have the chance to play Santa' - but some of these things made it endearing as well - talk amount the reindeer.
I will state on a personal note that I am not a fan of books where one character watches the other character grow up and then a sexual relationship develops... I always feel it's a little skeevy. However since plenty of warning is given in the books description about this that's on the reader if you choose to read it anyway.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Zara's new book is certainly a different take on Santa Claus. This funny, sweet, steamy story kept me entertained through the entire book. Santa Claus is actually an alien that has been stranded on earth for centuries. He has special powers and once a year he cures children of their terminal illnesses. Sixteen years ago Kris (Santa Clause) cured Jessica of Leukemia. She is now a beautiful woman who Kris has been attracted to for years. Jessica has been in love with Kris her entire life. Can these two ever come together? “In Love With Alien Santa Claus” is a remarkable holiday romance you won't want to miss. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
What a fun lovely read can't say anything bad about this book except I wish it could have been longer not because I was unhappy with any of the story at all but because I was enjoying it so much. All the characters are so lovable and funny in their own way the way the reindeers talked about food I laughed out loud Kris and Jessica were so good together also Grix and the others made me laugh no bad things happening in this story. It's funny loving romantic and perfect for this time of year. The cover picture I love has well. I definitely recommend this book it's worth all five stars. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.
No spoilers of any kind included. All I can say is this book was good but it lacked action I thought and it wasn’t like any of the other books that I’ve read by Zara Zenia. Yes there was a lot of steam but no action and several parts of the story was just plain cheesy to me. But all in all I liked reading this story but it just didn’t grab ahold of me since there were time I had to fight to stay interested in the book. So that’s all I’m going to say about this book. But yes I recommend this book because I guarantee there’s other people out there who’d enjoy reading this story more than I did.
In Love With Alien Santa Claus: A Sci-Fi Alien Holiday Romance by Zara Zenia is a sweet and quick read. I will not repeat here the blurb, I'm sure everyone manages that just fine. Only so much, the story is not waht I expected, not at all. It's a sweet christmas story, det on earth and brings the christmas miracle to your door. In Love With Alien Santa is like a fairy tale set in a sci-fi alien world, a captivating read in the spirit of the upcoming holidays. Did I mention sweet and romantic story? Yes, it's a heart warming story about a young woman who never lost her faith in Santa. I like the storyline and the writing and give 4 sweet romantic stars.
Contains sexual content. A sick, six year old Jessica is preying Santa will find her in the hospital and make her better just like he did that other child. Jessica's foster mom, Janice, tries to tell Jess that Santa isn't really do she isn't disappointed when he doesn't appear. Kris bumps Jess's bed on accident and she wakes up, he has kept watch of her every since. Jessica is a college student now and still knows Santa is real, little does she know....she will learn the whole truth soon. This is a really great "how Santa came to be" story for adults. It has all the feels a romance needs and a hunky alien! RECOMMENDED
This is a fun read for the holidays! What an inventive plot to have Santa turn out to be an alien who heals needy children or gift poor families at Christmas. This is a feel good story that gets you in the spirit of giving and adds in the romance.
Jessica was healed one Christmas when she was a child and saw Santa at her bedside but nobody believes her. Turns out she was right and finds this out when she helps Kris aka Santa, when he gets stuck in a chimney.
The only thing that I found strange was thinking about Santa having hot sex but since he is not the "real" Santa, I got past that part...lol
Jessica met Santa Claus when she was six years old and he cured her Leukaemia. Of course, nobody believed her but she continued to put milk, cookies and carrots out every Christmas Eve thereafter. Now she is grown up and Santa, Kristarkon Clausarkar, an alien stranded on earth with his crew for the last few hundred years, is now looking at her in an entirely different way. This year something goes wrong with Kris’ technology and Jessica gets called on to help. From then on we can be pretty certain of the outcome. This is a nice Christmas story but a bit to cliche for me. I’m sure that lovers of Christmas and romance will love it.
This HOT Santa is alien with special gifts…cover not bad either! Truly enjoyed this premise: unique short story. Kristarkon Clausarker is from the planet Tarsis in another galaxy. After being marooned on Earth with special powers, he and his crew went about making Santa come to life but in a very special way. One of his “gifts” was bestowed on Jessica, a foster child whose parents abandoned her. Kris cured her cancer when she was 6yo and over time fell in love with the 22yo Jessica. What happens next is heart-warming and HOT. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book
This is a sweet story. Jessica is a girl cured by Santa when she was a little girl but nobody believes her. Kris is an alien who acts as Santa to help deserving families. So what happens when he needs her help? Leave out the steamy scenes and the alien technology and this is still good. Well written the story moves along with enough information about the characters to make it interesting. If you enjoy sweet romance with some sexy scenes you will like this book. I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
In Love With Alien Santa Claus by Zara Zenia, the first book by this author I have ever read, is a quirky and fun holiday romantic comedy. I found her characters endearing and their mannerisms too funny! This book had me laughing out loud. I loved the story of Jessica and Kris, they are a perfect match and a sweet couple for a setting at the most wonderful time of the year. I read an ARC of this book and voluntarily share my review.
I enjoyed this twist on the Santa Claus myth. The eclectic mix of Santa's helpers help drive the story along. It is entertaining and I really love the presents this Santa delivers. It is a cute quick read. The characters are entertaining and it is well written. The banter between Blitz and the rest of her friends is pretty funny. The overall story keeps your attention. There are some unanswered questions at the end of the story but all in all, I enjoyed this story and it is worth the time to read. Grab it and enjoy!
And now I am not!! I’m his book was hot. One of my bffs told me about this book and I got it and read it. Kris is an alien who connected with a 6yo it was never a sexual connection until after her 18th birthday he saw her as a woman but made no moves. Then one fateful Xmas morning he gets stuck and needs her help to not be discovered! And after he takes the disguise of Santa and into his regular she’s in lust. It goes up from there!! I loved it and the other characters!!
