A very thorough overview specifically on composition and translation of the Bible. Whilst written by an Anglican priest its opposition to fundamentalist Christianity is admirable and the later chapters on the Bibles use and Christian ethics were an added bonus. I would highly recommend this to anyone with an interest in the Bible or Christianity; potentially an antidote to REFORMED types!
