She worked in public relations for the San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department for 22 years before retiring earlier this year. Kelly has been married to photographer Tim Irvin for twenty-eight years. They have two young adult children and have three grandchildren. In her spare time, she likes to write short stories, read books by her favorite authors, and looks forward to visits with her grandchildren.

Every Amish Season Collection
Series of four stories that follow four Amish women in different stages of life. Author makes it easy to identify with the main characters and the challenges they face. Interesting read.

Just finished the first book in this seris: Upon a Spring Breeze a good story about a young widow who lost her husband due to a tractor/bugguy accident. They were married just one year and soon to have a baby. This story is about how she copes with motherhood and widow hood at the same time. Bess, feels lost and stiffeled living with her late husband Calab's family, and bein told what to do with her life. She decides to get a job in town to help the family fincinaly, the only thing she feels capable is working at the new B and B. The problem is that she is Amish and the new owners are not. She also is suffering with post partem blues after the birth of her son Joshsa. There are also three other widows in their family of different ages who try to help her and encourage her in this endever. Also he owners of the B and B have a grown son who falls in love with Bess. As well as Aidan, who was Calab's best friend, and he has been in love with Bess before Calab, but never told anybody. Was hard to put down
