I guess for some people this could be pretty useful, but actually for most projects it's hugely over-bureaucratic, and is clearly still far too attached to its IT project origins.

That said, it makes for a handy qualification if you're in the UK Civil Service, and if I get it, maybe I'll sing its praises.

I read this book to prepare to my PRINCE2 exam. But I have to say, if you are a project manager or considering being a project manager, you should read this book. It's rich, focused, very well structured, practical and straight to the point.

It helps you realize and practice real project management.
