A solid book on building a home of your own written from the point of view of the architect and the client. Refreshing to hear the issue of not being able to afford everything you want dealt with after listening to HGTV fantasyland for so long. House is very "of the era" (the '90s). Love Susan Allen Toth but I'd say this is ranked in the middle of the pack for her books. Still, very enjoyable.
