Rehumanize Your Business

Rate this book
Every day, most working professionals entrust their most important messages to a form of communication--email--that doesn't build trust, provide differentiation, or communicate clearly enough. It's easy to point to the sheer volume of emails, text messages, voicemails, and even social messaging as the problem that reduces our reply rates, and diminishes our effectiveness. But the faceless nature of that communication is also to blame. Over the past decade, a community of sales professionals has pioneered a new/ old way of selling - using simple, one-to-one videos in email (today's new technology) to restore face to face communication and a personal, human touch to their communication (the fundamental old school technology). They're sending one-to-one videos by the thousands--and boosting their sales dramatically.

This book explains how any salesperson can most effectively add personal video messages to their emails with customers and prospects--and dramatically improve their business relationships and sales. The book explains the what, why, and how the "relationships through video" movement, and how to replace some of the plain, typed-out text communication with simple webcam and smartphone videos. This book is relevant to anyone who wins through relationships and referrals and who needs to influence, persuade, or sell to be effective in his or her work.

If you hate cold calling clients then you must read this book

Personal video is one of the most powerful tools we can use to persuade, entertain, inform and educate. I read this book in one evening and our team were implementing the ideas within it the next morning.

It’s such a powerful and practical book that I’ve started buying copies for my clients to read.

Great book, especially if you want an alternative strategy to cold calling. Highly recommended.

Great book on how to maximize video

I have know for a long time the importance of using video as a way to connect with others. This book helps with providing the details to making it work most effectively. Yes, the authors created a platform you can use to send video emails. But this book is more. Specifics about the message, what should be in the background, the best lighting options have helped me recommit to using video more. The tips and techniques will help you maximize video for any platform you choose to use.

Well, to be fair enough, i have not read it all ; i stop reading it due to the fact that i have changed my interest into the kind of books that i am reading this year.

I am now more into " self help" book since i am in a journey of self change to be a " better person".

However, from the first few chapter that i have read, i will rated as 2 starts , since it covers many of the aspects that the book intended for ; but, there are less examples.

It's part breakdown on the how and why you should be implementing video in your business, and part humblebrag for BombBomb.

Though I'm fairly advanced on video content and there were only a few nuggets for me to implement beyond what I'm already doing, this is a super comprehensive read for folks who are just dipping their toes in the video waters.

And also, as a BombBomb user who very much enjoys their platform, even the humblebrags weren't bothersome.
