I can relate to Bruce (a grumpy bear who does not want to socialize) :)

This is one of the most charming board books I've come across. Maybe it's because I already love the characters from their previous adventures, but I was genuinely entertained by Bruce's ineffective hiding spots (and the reasons they were ineffective). It's like a beginner's look-and-find book with your favorite grumpy bear. It's great!

In conclusion, Bruce needs to be added to Animal Crossing immediately.

The ducks are looking for Bruce the bear. Can he successfully hide from them? Bruce tries going behind a tree, hiding in the rocks, going into the bathtub, and sitting in the chair, but the little ducks find him every time.

Kids can't help loving grumpy Bruce and the ever-jolly ducks.

Ever since becoming an Auntie, I find these kinds of books much more fun to read. I am sure that my 1.5 year old nephew would love finding Bruce in this book, and of course adults get a chuckle from Bruce trying to hide from the fun and games. I'll be buying this for Christmas.

This latest installment in the "Mother Bruce" series is entertaining for both the littlest readers and their adults. All Bruce wants is solitude. His goslings, however, want to play. When Bruce goes for a walk (alone), the goslings follow him everywhere. Bruce can't hide behind anything because he's so big. Try as he might, the goslings find him. Will Bruce ever find peace and quiet?

This board book's title had me worried as "Peek-A-Bruce" could mean there are flaps that excited little

The geese want to play. Bruce doesn't. So Bruce tries to find a quiet place away from them, and they think it is a game of hide-n-seek.

Little readers will likely delight in pointing out Bruce's hiding spots to the geese (he's always a little bit visible, but for littles whose eyes are still developing it might not be super easy for them to spot him on every spread the first read). The geese are still goslings in this book and adorable. Adults will appreciate the sarcasm, little readers will love

Mother Bruce but in a board book format. The geese think he's playing hide-and-seek, but he's clearly just trying to take a bath/relax in his chair/etc. Poor Bruce.

My favorite part is after he . was so discouraged the ducklings picked his spirits back up about hiding. This book would be used during free time in my class
