Do you believe in fate?

Flying to New York during the holidays, Elizabeth Richardson’s focus is on two things, the Soulful Heart benefit and sightseeing. That is until she’s face-to-face with the stormy-eyed man who compels her against her better judgment, making her want to throw caution to the wind. Unfortunately I just couldn’t get into this book. The story line has potential. But I wanted more less descriptive words and more about the characters. Plus the use of some words made me cringe and not in a good way. Elizabeth and Chris meet and kiss under the mistletoe. Elizabeth is a really shy lady well I guess was. This is a fun, sweet little holiday romance novella that you can read in about an hour. It's a novella, it's meant to be a quick read, so knowing that, you're not gonna get a bunch of character development, not a big plot. It is exactly what one would think, a short holiday instalove story.
It's all about Elizabeth, Chris and the mistletoe! I can't say much, I don't want to give anything away.
Just know that mistletoe is magic! A great little holiday de-stressor!

“The tradition was that with each kiss a berry was picked off the mistletoe. Once the last berry was gone, then there could be no more kissing," Chris revealed as he leaned closer before whispering, "And that's a total shame.” 0 likes
