Here's my little story...
Although I live in Michigan, USA, I was born and raised in a little village in northern England.
I grew up in a big old house, with two wonderful parents and seven siblings. My dad was the one who introduced me to the gospel. My mum was the one who encouraged me to work with children.
And at primary school, my teacher was the one who urged me to write. One day a week, I was one of the lucky few withdrawn from the classroom to sit in big, comfy armchairs in the teachers' lounge. There, in front of a roaring log fire, with pencil and paper at the ready, I would write.
Four long decades later, I would find myself living across the pond, married to a wonderful man, mum to four adult children and three daughters-in-law, and grandma to three bouncing boys and one gorgeous girl. And as if all that wasn’t blessing enough, I somehow became an author, despite giving up on my first book halfway through.
And if you would have told me then, that this book would one day become a series, that I would begin a second series, and a third… I never would have believed you. The only possible explanation is that our great God is able to do immeasurably more than all I could ever ask or possibly imagine.
And to God alone, be the glory.

Okay, this little board book for babies and toddlers was just too cute. I just loved every page of this adorable children's book. The illustrations are wonderful, the wording is just right and grandparents and aunties will love snuggling with their favorite little one while reading this book.
For more conservative readers, there is mention of Halloween.
This would make an awesome gift for a new fall baby.

Snuggle Time Fall Blessings is a great board book suitable for the tiniest reader. Adorable illustrations featuring woodland animals participating in fun autumn activities accompany easy rhymes. Each poem flows naturally into the next so that the book can be read in one sitting or during successive reading times. There’s all sorts of fun things within this book — apple picking, pumpkin carving, wagon rides — that your child will identify from your own family activities. And it opens and closes with the same sentiment — thankfulness to God for all He provides. Recommended!

From chilly air to leaf piles, apple picking to pumpkin carving, Snuggle Time Fall Blessings is a cozy collection of poems and prayers to dip in and out of during the fall season. If you do choose to read it straight through, there is a narrative feel as the poems feed into one another and the chronology moves from early fall to Halloween and, finally, "Family Time", with an illustration reminiscent of Thanksgiving. The sturdy board book format and typical fall content will appeal to parents and littles alike. I received a complimentary copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely love fall. There is something about the season that is warm, comforting, and cozy and makes me want to snuggle up with my kids to read to them. In fact, I have a few books we only read in the fall, and this sweet collection of prayer poems has made the list. Author Glenys Nellist uses the help of mother and baby woodland animals to prayerfully walk us by rhyme through the season in this beautifully illustrated board book. Glenys has become one of my favorite children’s book authors, and she continues to delight our family with each book she releases. Thank you @zonderkidz for the opportunity to review this book.

Snuggle Time Fall Blessings is a great quick easy to read children's book. This is one I'd read to kids at bedtime or naptime or anytime you want to snuggle. It has great pictures that will allow for the child/children to ask questions and pick out things in the images. A very well done book. I loved the board book because it means easier cleaning as well. A great little read.

One of my favorite children's authors is Glenys Nellist. She has such a lovely way with words. This new addition to her Snuggle Time books is a wonderful read for the fall and Thanksgiving season.
We have several of her Snuggle Time books and love them. This new book is no exception. Glenys tells a story through rhyme that rolls easily off the tongue. That's a bonus when you wind up reading this darling book over and over again.
I also like that it is a board book edition. Board books are so much easier with little ones. You don't have to worry about pages getting rumpled and torn. That leaves you and your little one able to just enjoy reading and talking about all the fun activities that come with the fall season.

At twenty-four pages, this board book with a padded front cover targets children ages two to six years old. With no scary scenes, it is a nice story about Fall and how, through the eyes of animals, the season is enjoyed and God is thanked.
With some complicated wording, this short book told in rhyme contains a dozen two-stanza, four-lines-each poems. With adorable, colorful illustrations, there are foxes, mice, bunnies, hedgehogs, squirrels, and raccoons that thank God, say goodbye to summer, enjoy a bonfire, play in leaves, meet a scarecrow, pick apples, go on a wagon ride, visit a pumpkin patch, carve a pumpkin, and have family time.
~Why ~
Having four grandchildren, I love giving them adorable books that will keep their attention as they view the cute critters and are read the rhymes, and this one works well. I like that the poems are short and not too confusing, suggesting ways to enjoy the season.
~ Why Not ~
With so many two and three-syllable words, this would be a hard beginner reader’s book; it makes a nice bedtime or calming book where an adult could read it to a toddler who enjoys looking at pictures.
~ Wish ~
With the book targeting toddlers and preschoolers, it would be better if some of the words were more simplistic for a beginner reader, but that may be challenging to keep it in a rhyming format. I wish it mentioned God more often.
~ Want ~
If you are looking for a book about Fall and things to do during the season while your child enjoys viewing cute, colorful pictures of animals, this is a great choice.

My Review:
I absolutely love the fall season. The crisp cool air and the changing leaves just overwhelm me with goodness. Especially here in Alabama, it is a welcome break after the heat of the summer. This sweet little board book is just perfect for preschoolers. It has short, but sweet wording and verses as to not overwhelm. I loved the sweet sentiment and the gorgeous illustrations.
Halloween is mentioned twice, but the author just touches on it. each verse is centered around something to do with the season. A great book perfect for read alouds.

Author Glenys Nellist has teamed up with Illustrator Cee Biscoe and created the latest book in the Snuggle TIme series published by Zonderkidz. It is full of cozy fall rhymes and illustrations sure to warm your heart. My favorite page was the Bonfire page. The adorable parent and child bunnies watching the crackling fire made me think of all the wonderful family bonfires we have had over the years.If you are the parent or grandparent of a little one, you will love to own this book!

Share the joys of autumn with young children in Glenys Nellist's latest book in the Snuggle Time series. I loved reading this book to my three-year old granddaughter. Sweet illustrations and fun rhymes include typical autumn events that make this season and this book a favorite. After reading this book you will want to go outside and create precious memories with your children and grandchildren.

This is such a sweet book to snuggle up with your child and read during the fall season. I read it with my twin niece and nephew and they found it delightful based on the expressions on their faces.
