Review to come!

In the meantime, check out my spoiler-free reading vlog:
What if the lines weren’t so clearly drawn? What if she wasn’t either a hero or a villain? What if she was both?

Wow, so I finally got my hands on this book!

I’m leaving up all of my theories up at the bottom of my review because that’s what 99% of the comments on this review are in reference to. It feels weird to delete them now even though I’ve read the book because then everyone’s comments on here won’t make sense. So while they are left up, that doesn’t mean that any of my theories were ri

this is definitely the best book in this series. i am not a fan of superhero stories, so i have no idea how i have made it to the end of this trilogy, but i am so happy this ends the way it does.

the significant difference between this last installment and its predecessors is the character development. in the first two books, everything is black/white, good/evil, hero/villain, friend/foe, etc. but this book finally gives the characters some wiggle room to venture into that grey area in between.

Please read this series. You’re welcome ahead of time. ;)
First of all, I called it. I figured it out and you can bet I'm smug about it.

Second of all, this book is totally going to have another sequel right? Like, there is no other way but for it to have a sequel? A spinoff maybe? A six-book series? Will it ever end? Will the battle between good and evil ever be won by either side? Idk. But you can bet I'm down to find out!

In this "final" installment all the build-up finally has it's payoff and all the epicness that had been hinted at before is finally

I read this with the song, Supernova, on repeat in the background...hehehe. :P

super + Nova ... superNOVA ... get it???! ;)

This was SO GOOD! What a phenomenal finale. It was just nonstop action from start to finish. It seriously felt like I was reading an X-Men film. When I picked it up, I didn't want to set it down for a second! Plot twist after plot twist! :O

"Supernova" was definitely the best book in the "Renegades" series. No doubt. I would give this more than five stars if I could.

I feel like everything was wrapped up really well. I'm kind of sad that the series is ending, but it was fun while it lasted!

In "Archenemies" (which is the second book in the "Renedgades" series) I felt like Adrian became less of a good character. But here in this book, I liked him again. Adrian was back to being his loveable cinnamon roll self.

Supernova is a decent ending to the newest series from Marissa Meyer. I enjoyed the journey with all the characters and her interesting spin on the super hero genre.

I did not enjoy it quite as much as The Lunar Chronicles, but I would not take that to heart to much. It was a very tough task to follow up after that series and I think she did just about as good as she possibly could. I am sure that fans of that series will also find a lot to like here.

If you have not tried Marissa Meyer before but

I'm reading this book while in the hospital getting treatment for pneumonia. The cough is keeping me up so I might as well enjoy the actions and adventures of Nova and her villains. I'm liking this book a lot more. I like how quick the villains think. They speak so little and let silence stretches on but they all come to the same conclusion that time is running out and they need to act fast. I like their teamwork, how different they are but they work well together. Honey's humor is always a plus ...more

This is, by far, one of the most epic and splendid YA finale. This trilogy is one of my favourites in the whole wide world, and this book is one of my favourites of 2019. I am speechless.

I read Renegades because I loved TLC and a superhero story sounded like something I would love. After finishing the first book which I thought was a standalone, I was surprised to know it has a sequel and since book 1 was okay, I said I can continue the duology, no problem! Then the duology became a trilogy and that is one of my bookish pet peeves! I also can't help but think this is a recycled version of X-Men with the Helmet, the boy who removes abilities and other things...

This book fell so flat for me.

I was so excited for this book and I really expected more from it. This book had an insane amount of hype and wasn't the "epic conclusion" that it was trying so hard to be. *Sigh*. This is what I get for my hardcore fangirling.

The plot:
What even was the plot? I was so confused in the first half of the book. Everything was so unbelievably dull and didn't pick up with the same action and intensity that we were left off at with Archenemies. I think we should all get

What. Complete. And. Utter. Trash.

I am genuinely disappointed after how much I had enjoyed the first two books. This novel was such a colossal letdown that I honestly am at a mild loss for words.

This book was an absolute fucking trainwreck. I was eager for a conclusion that would clinch together the internal and external struggle that had been brewing since the first book. I wanted to see the dilemma of good vs. evil, of how lines aren't as black and white as they initially seem, how things don'

I think this is my first two star review. I usually only review books that I love as authors have enough bad reviews to deal with and I don't want to add more. And this isn't a bad review...not really. It's a wish that the series had a stronger, more engaging, satisfying ending. And it also may be due to the fact that I'm a writer and a teacher of writing - I saw SO MUCH potential here - and the possibility of huge emotional scenes that were set up perfectly and just didn't occur. Perhaps Meyer ...more

Where do I even start?

Obviously I loved it. The first two books set things up so well, so there were plenty of questions and theories waiting for answers and confrontations waiting to happen.

WARNING: This review contains spoilers for the first two books in the series.

Firstly, I was really glad this book contained gentle reminders of what happened in the last book(s) because it meant I didn't have to waste time trying to

damn my feelings towards this series just got a little more complicated

i hated the first 300 pages because it felt redundant, boring, and quiet frankly,,,,,,useless

the last 200 pages HOWEVER, were action packed, filled with interesting twists and reveals, and had me glued to the book to find out just how it could possibly end

and that epilogue made me SCREAM jfdalfjlfd maybe it was too much of a cliffhanger for some readers but i LOVED how unaware and unprepared i was for the epilogue damn, you w

I feel speechless by how much this book has me shook right now. I am in no way exaggerating when I say this book had me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. There were times where I genuinely thought I would rate this 2 stars because I was so furious with the plot and where things were going, and then every time I thought I knew what was going to happen, Marissa Meyer threw another plot twist and left me shocked and scrambling to figure out how I felt. I am so sad this series has come to an end. Supernova was an incredible, tense and heartbreaking conclusion to the Renegades trilogy. SO MANY TWISTS! My anxiety levels were insane.

Nova and Adrian had me going crazy for majority of this book and had me crying of frustration!
Certain actions Adrian made, made me questioning my love for him and he desperately needed to redeem himself. BUT THEN
