An evil curse locked four warriors in stone. Statues for centuries, only a pure woman who could see beyond the physical could free them. One such woman was Maeve Collins. She approached Dragan's statue with compassion and spoke to it as if it were a real person. How was she to know that he was real, wings and all? Once freed, Dragan needs to connect with his brotherhood - the great sorcerer, Nicodemus, and the others who were now free from their stone prisons. However, the wicked sorcerer who ...more

Dragan is book 4 in the Stone Warriors series and I loved it from beginning to end. I have enjoyed all the books in this series but I have to say this one was my favorite. Dragan and Mae were fantastic together. Their chemistry was awesome and they made a great team. Mae is the best h of this series. She's smart, loving, strong but innocent which was an endearing combination. The reunion with his fellow warriors and Nico/Nick had me in tears. There's action with the overall arc still in play ...more

I absolutely know when I pick up a book by this author that it’s going to be a wild ride, rife with action and of course full to the brim with romance. Finally we get the last of the cursed Warriors and Dragan is a character wholly unique in that he’s brave yes , fearless without a doubt but desperate for someone to finally, actually want him monstrous wings and all ! Step forward Maeve who has deliberately cut herself off from family and loved ones in order to work for an employer who well ...more

5 Warrior Stars!!

Dragan Fiachna is the last of Nick’s missing warriors who is trapped by Sotiris at his lake house with a sweet, shy, introvert named Maeve. Mae works for Sotiris, as his antiquities caregiver. Mae has always been drawn to the beautiful winged statue, so she spends much of her solitude time talking and reading to him. She doesn’t understand why Sotiris rants and raves at the winged statue when he occasionally visits, after Sotiris’ latest visit Mae offers comfort to Dragan

A nice PRN romance without useless angst and without stupidity on either side!

I enjoyed both Dragan and Mae's behaviour!

Mae was a withdrawn girl who wasn't stupid and who did intelligent reasonings, while Dragan was inteligent enough not to be an overbearing alpha idiot. He listen to her reasonings and didn't suffocate her, but was protective just enough!
She recognized his physical superiority, but also appreciated his intelligence.

So, thank to both of them being that way the story progressed
And then there was one.

Sorcerer Nicodemus Katsaros experienced his greatest sorrow when his four warrior brothers were cursed by his enemy Sorcerer Sotiris. Cursed to be imprisoned in stone, always awake and able to see and hear everything in their presence, but unable to do more. Only a minute loophole gives them the illusion their curse could be broken, under the right conditions. Centuries have come and gone with no hope until recently.

Three have been able to break their curse. Damian,

Dragan is the last warrior trapped in stone. Maeve and her kind, pure heart sets him free. Then they are on the run from the evil sorcerer. Maeve puts her computer smarts and eavesdropping skills to the test to find Nico and the other warriors. After a long drive filled with danger, they find Dragan's warrior brothers. Epic battle ensues, and the bad guy gets away yet again (that's the reason for the missing half star). It's a little okay cause it needs to be

D.B. Reynolds returns to her exciting and magical Stone Warriors series with Dragan, a man destined to be alone not only because of his life commitment to battle, but because of the stone curse his enemy cast upon him and his brothers in arms.

Maeve Collins is a smart and kind computer geek with an affinity for antiques, hired by Dragan’s enemy to catalogue his collection of artifacts. None captivated her the most than the magnificent winged stone warrior who she talked to sitting by his taloned

Where has this series been hiding?!?!?! I just finished reading Dragan and I am hooked! I fell in love with sweet, kind hearted Maeve right from the start. She’s a nerdy heroine with a sweet disposition, who’s smart and funny. What’s not to like? And Dragan wormed his way into my heart pretty easily with his protectiveness and old school honor. The more we get of him, the more I want to follow Maeve’s lead and hug him and promise to be BFFs forever!

Lol, in all seriousness, these

Maeve had taken a job cataloging artifacts and treasures for a very unpleasant man, Mr. Sotiris. But she loved her job and there was a beautiful statue that she talked to all the time, the statue that Dragan had been cursed to live inside for all of eternity until someone could break the curse and release him. Mr. Sotiris was more than he seemed to be and very dangerous but she just thought he was strange for raging at the statue all the time.

Maeve would sit and talk to the statue of Dragon all

Dragan Faichna is the last of the four warriors to escape his stone prison thanks to adorable computer geek, Maeve Collins.

An unassuming introvert and antiques expert, Maeve is hired to basically house-sit for a powerful man named Sotiris. Little does Maeve know that Sotiris is actually an evil sorcerer and his collection of priceless antiques are actually very powerful magical artifacts. But none are as important at the handsome winged statue of a man with a sword.

But Sotiris' estate is in the

Maeve, an employee of Sotiris, has always been drawn to the beautiful winged statue in the statue hall. While Sotiris rants and raves at it, she offers it comfort and peace, even though she knows its justs stone. Her care for the statue finally breaks the curse and Dragan is finally free. Maeve uses her hacking ability to help Dragan to find Nick.

Dragan is the fourth book in the Stone Warriors series. I've loved every book in this series and this one didn't disappoint. I particularly enjoy how the author crafts the heroines' personalities. They are not shrinking violets rather equal partners to the soldiers they rescue. The muscles they may lack are replaced with intellect and courage. The story is action-packed and the chemistry is hot! This book can easily be read alone but I recommend the entire series. I can't wait for the next one!

The Fourth book of the series. And wow!! as like wow!!!!

The action, are here. I cried several times each time i turn the page and I soooo love that all of them are together. Nick. well i want to know if he will have the next book or will it be Lily. I mean that girl something.

As the story of the series progress, the same with the maturity of the characters. You can see why they are brothers by choice if not fate.

The way the lessons and how each of them are bought back to life reflects our own

I was really looking forward to this one, because DRAGON. Sadly, Dragan is not a dragon. Talk about a let down. So in the beginning, this was really good. I loved both main characters and thought their relationship was believable. But eventually, my entertainment started to wane. I mean, how much can one really enjoy reading about a couple people driving across the country? And that's what an overwhelming amount of this book was. We barely had any excitement or action until around the last 10% ...more

Finally, we have DRAGAN!

Maeve Collins is an academic with a nerd’s heart, who has taken a position in seclusion to catalogue a vile and rude man’s vast collection of rare artefacts and precious treasures for the past three years. Little does this mousy, solitary woman know that she is employed by a callous and vengeful sorcerer who will stop at nothing to destroy those who are good and just. But Maeve has a companion in the beautiful and imposing statue that her employer berates at every

Dragan is the last of the stone warriors to be released from his centuries of imprisonment. The curse holding him was very specific; one that the evil sorcerer, Sotiris, thought near unbreakable because it was dependent on a virgin “untested and pure.” When his employee, Maeve Collins, releases Dragan from his prison at last, she is astonished to find the statue she had felt such an affinity for is a real man. Dragan’s prior life was one of war and rejection from his family and village because ...more
Dragan, reading these back cover I assumed he was a beast in manners and looks, but far from it, he saw himself as a beast, his parents gave him away to be a protector, a warrior. The people who looked after him as a child, did just that, there was duty only, no love. And even as a man, he knew only duty, women would want only his body, a s nothing else.....

Maeve is a total computer geek, online haves and programming is her way of life, the solitary life suits her. And the house she lives in,

It was a time when gods walked the earth, when armies fought not for bits of land, but for the very existence of humanity. This is is first line of the description of this series of books. The author knows how to capture your attention. If you haven't read these books, you should as each one gets better. I think "this is my favorite, another comes out and i think the same things". This series is a welcome addition to the world already built by this author and I will eagerly read everything that comes out!

Dragan continues with the stone warriors, who are slowly being released from their prisons by very specific and awesome women. This time the heroine is Mae. She's taken a somewhat strange job dealing with antiquities for none other than the big bad himself. Since she's healing some relationship wounds, the solitary work suits her needs. A year in, however, and she begins

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book had me hooked from the start. With a fast paced plot and characters you can't help but route for, plus the slow burn between Dragan and Maeve, what wasn't to like?

The problem came for me about half way through the book, after they've made it to their friends. Most of it was probably because this is the first book I have read in this series, and in this world.... but the other part of my

Ok let me just say I started the series with this book. I wasn't aware there were books before Dragan. So I went in blind as to any back stories or what the heck is really going on and I managed to DEVOUR Dragan and Mae and their story. I didn't at anytime feel as if no was missing anything nor do I think I'd have enjoyed it more if I had read the previous books.

Dragan and Mae gave a fantastic read full of suspense and angst until...well you'll just have to read it because I won't spoil it. DB.

Dragan after being tormented by a sadistic sorcerer, arch enemy of Nick . Dragan finds his girl, or rather she finds him, slightly eccentric Mae, talks to strange stone statues, inquisitive minded, and this I love, sings herself to sleep. Thinks nothing is weird about a big tough drop dead gorgeous guy, waving a sword about with bat wings and a golden tan to die for. Excellent writer

I love D.B. Reynolds' books. This is the fourth book in the series of sorcerers and magic. The evil Sotiris cast a spell that encased Nicodemus' four warriors into stone statues and then scattered them all over the world. Nick has spent a millennium looking for them. One by one the warriors have found their mates who broke the spell and brought them back to life. Dragan is the last of them. He's actually ended up in Sotiris' basement. Mauve works for Sotiris not realizing what he
