Isn't it enough Cleora Butterfield has agreed to be her enormously pregnant BFF's back-up birth coach? Does she really have to repeat last year's disastrous New Year's Eve blind date with Ross Hollister—one of said friend's favorite people—even if the man is smokin' hot? She has enough on her Christmas platter with planning and delivering the annual holiday pageant for her ...more

When the Heart Finds Christmas is a heartwarming story with a celestial messenger trying to help two people find Christmas romance. There is romance intermixed with humor to make this a beautiful Christmas story.
Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and authors for the opportunity to read and give my honest review about this book.

Started Off OK, Then It Got a Little Weird

This book had all the holiday trimmings that you expect from a Christmas romance. It had the friend who absolutely adores the holiday and goes a little overboard. There was a Christmas pageant, and a New Year’s Eve party was pivotal. The holidays were really well integrated into the story, which, unfortunately, doesn't always happen with Christmas romances. It is certainly more than a backdrop here. It was used to show character on occasion as well as

Christmas may be over, but this is an anytime of the year book. Its heartwarming, frustrating, quirky and even tender throughout.

Cleo’s fears led to extreme stubbornness. And, if she’s not careful, it will cost her that happy ever after she’s always wanted.

Ross is a real gentleman. He, like Cleo, lost at love. However, unlike Cleo, he’s willing to ‘pull himself up by the bootstraps’ when necessary and face his challenges head on.

Zack is a loser, an all around loser. He keeps a chip on his

When the Heart Finds Christmas is the second book in Annalisa Russo’s the Green Earth Christmas series. Cleora Butterfield came home from Broadway several years ago after the devastating death of the man she loved. She has made a good home for herself, teaches drama at a local school, and is even casually seeing someone. Ross Hollister was Tristan Solano’s manager when he was the keyboardist for rock group Last Bluff. Now that Tristan has retired, Ross’ new role is best friend and Unca Ross to ...more

This is the second book I’ve read by this author and it was an enjoyable read too. In the first book, Tristan and Jillian talk about setting Cleo up with Ross, Tristan’s former agent. We learn that it was a Disaster with a capital D, except for the kiss at midnight, lol. Ross returns to Green Earth and one of the first people he sees is Cleo, lol. I won’t leave any spoilers, but I will say you’ll love this story, if you enjoy small town books with great friends and family in them. We also get to ...more

The second book in The Green Earth Christmas Series a well written story that kept me turning pages, Melah is at it again this time Cleora Butterfield is the woman she visits with. When Cleo and Ross Hollister met a year ago they did not hit it off now he is back and this is their second chance. I enjoyed reading this Christmas story and seeing how they get together. I hope there is more to come in this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a ...more

This is a new author to me. I truly enjoyed this book. The characters were wonderful (especially Sadie the little girl) and the plot was one that captivated me.

I loved having this book written in my favorite dual POV format. Getting to understand both Cleo and Ross's thoughts really helped to thoroughly understand where the characters were coming from at certain aspects in the story.

This is a sweet,

I was so excited to read Cleo and Ross' story. It went above and beyond my expectations. Wonderful characters and storyline. Twists and turns on the road. Many great life lessons. A strong Christian theme with the same beloved supernatural element we were introduced to in the first book. I cannot wait to read more!

A story where you feel like you're reading a Hallmark movie. You have a Christmas pageant and a New Year's Eve Party and Christmas time romance. Characters you'll love getting to know throughout the story and a story line that's captivating and entertaining. Second chance romance at it's finest.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I read the first book and immediately went and downloaded this second book. Green Earth, MN is such a magical place and I was so excited to be able to go back and catch-up with individuals from the first book plus find out what magic Melah would have to generate to get Ross and Cleo the HEA they both so desperately need! If you have not visited Green Earth, MN yet you have been missing out on a place where Christmas miracles are not only possible but occur as a distinct possibility if a person ...more

I grew up in the Midwest in a first-generation Italian family. We lived with my grandparents since in an Italian family when the oldest girl gets married, she doesn’t move out, her husband moves in. I was the eldest of five children which caused the usual sibling problems—fighting, borrowing stuff, and eating really, really fast or you were out of luck. Our grandparents spoke to us in Italian, and ...more
