Great book if you are interested in boats,and especially if you are building a boat. When combined with other information it all comes together.

Covers general design practises, premises, and practical aspects of boats (sailboats).

The information really is a must have for boat building, with informative design criteria presented in general language that is straight forward. This information would important not just for building but also for selecting a boat.

Ted Brewer is a well known designer of commercial, recreational and racing yachts and boats from 9ft dingies, up to yachts over 100ft in length. I have personally hired him for design work and advice, and found that like himself his book is very approachable and understandable.
