This was a weird little fantasy book...

Weird in the sense that things seemed random sometimes and there are lots of questions about why things happened, without any clear answers or revelations.

However, that being said, I really enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to getting book 2 someday!

I was asked to check out Wizarded Away by the author himself. I got the Kindle edition for $0.99 and decided to give this story a try.

You can read this book for free through Kindle Unlimited or you can still get it for $0.99 on Kindle. 🙂

Myles had always wanted more out of life. He needed adventure and excitement and wanted to experience the things he had only ever read about in books or seen on movies.

This was an interesting fantasy book. I think the 2 words that swam around my head the most were "why" and "random". I think a wee bit more coherency would've made the book sing beautifully. Other than that, the story line was quite compelling and there were many unique concepts such as how the magic worked. I enjoyed the ending, and am wondering what book 2 awaits. An overall decent short fantasy read.
