Ah man, I got this thing back around 2002 when it came out, nice book, but semi-dated. The inclusion of spiders and scorpions always bothered me. I still recommend this book, but I suggest you have some fact checks on things, because I'm pretty sure last I read it was outdated in info. Still good for those lovely illustrations.

I just saw another review said it may contain inaccuracies because it's a little old, so FYI, but we read it for the joy of discovery and weren't into memorizing facts or anything, so there's that.

This is an informational text about bugs from A to Z. Each page contains a size comparison that shows the bug in relation to either a human eyeball or a human adult's hand. The book begins with information about bugs, the different bug groups, and baby bugs. Each page includes the name of the bug along with a small description of the bug. It also includes a detailed illustration of the bug with a size comparison and the actual size. Throughout the book, there are additional fun facts. With harder insects, it has the pronunciation. The back of the book contains a glossary and an index. I think students will love this book because it is so informational while still being accessible.

I liked this book a lot. I learned a lot from it and i also learned a lot of new bugs. I want to be a biologist when i grow up either a marine biologists or Entomologist. Which means that i want to study bugs. I know you might think that this is a stupid book full of things people don't need to know but i really liked in and it furthered my education in bugs and my career.

I like that this book has more than one creepy crawly for each alphabet letter. I also like the amount of information provided for each creepy crawly.

This was a very interesting book. It talks about all different types of bugs. Things like different kinds of bugs, what they eat, how big they are, and structure sizes of the bugs as well.
