A patient, logical and empathetic summary about an existing theory. This book is twofold: first the theory, then the practical examples. Both are equally engaging.
In this book, 3 things were added, but one thing I really appreciated about other books about flip-thinking were not included.
- Added: a matrix, a flowchart and a hard-plastic small reminder of the matrix. easy to take with you in a wallet or put on your desk.
- Missing: the "strategies" that Berthold distinguished so far. They were also divided in different themes, such as "play", "love" or "work". The idea is that you just feel in which kind of situation which kind of flip-think strategy could be applicable.
This book shows how one theory is elaborated on. The more Berthold engages with it, the more he develops it and the better he can share the basic human "mechanisms" behind it.
