I particularly enjoyed that the students of unicorn academy get a strand of hair that matches the mane of their unicorn when they officially bond

A new year and a new group of friends start the academy. We meet Rosa who wants their dorm to bond but Freya loves to be off doing her own thing as she loves engineering.

However as the model of the academy is stolen from the map, the girls travel to find it but will they become friends?

All about friendship and unicorn magic this is a short but adventurous book which will keep you wanting to read more!

5 stars according to my 5yo

I think this is a great addition to this series. Rosa isn’t always the most sympathetic of characters, which is a nice change from the other title characters we’ve seen.

A new year at Unicorn Academy, my 3yo wanted to rate this 1 millions stars. Probably her favourite of the series so far. Although Rosa is probably my least favourite of the 7 characters we’ve met thus far 😂

I just started reading this books and I find it good tho I think it’s the old school unicorn which kind of makes me go meh, but other wise it’s a good book.

Our 9 year old gave it five stars, because it was "fun to listen to, and it's interesting". Plus she loves unicorns and likes stories about making friends.

cute story, I really appreciate how they showed it's okay to admit when you're wrong and it's important to know when to rely on others

Read with my 9yo who gives it 5 stars for the plot and the lesson in teamwork. I really enjoyed this one too, for a change in the format, best one yet.

I was a bit disappointed when I realized that the story was focusing on new characters in the story, seeing as I prefer the old ones. But this is actually a good book. It is full of adventure (though I wish it could be a bit more daring) and friendship.

I like the snow twisters too- they sound cool, although I don't understand how they are 'made of a special magic, and are very warm'.

The problem is that it is very, very easy to guess what powers each unicorn has. They have powers according to their name. For example, in the Unicorn Academy book, Scarlett and Blaze, I already guessed that Blaze would get fire magic. How? Because her name is Blaze- and blaze means fire. It was the same for a couple of the other series: Snowflake got freezing magic, because snowflakes are made of snow. And Rainbow got light magic, and rainbows are made of light.

But I like the character Rosa because she likes to be the leader, and it is interesting to see how she interacts with the others. Crystal is nice too, but sometimes it seems that Rosa bosses her about a little.

Overall, amazing book.

I like this book because it is one of my favorite books.

The best part is when Crystal finds her magic so that she can save Unicorn Academy with Rosa.
