Thanks for stopping by! I loves to weave tales of Alpha Shifters and the woman they love...or is it crave? ; ) I love all things fantasy and paranormal - if you haven't noticed! I am clearly a hopeless romantic too! What a coincidence! When I is not writing I am loving on her pet menagerie of cats and dogs - as well as on her very own Alpha : ) ...Our little gang splits our time between the mountains and the city in the far west... I hope my stories bring a smile, a laugh...as well as some steam to your day. And above all I hope they help you keep the feel of "possibility" alive in your heart...cause all things are possible...at least I like to think so! Enjoy
“Dragon Dreams – The Complete Collection” comprises six novellas and a bonus “extended” epilogue to the final novella, “Dragon Defender.” The series introduces the dragon shifters of the “First Flight” and their varied experiences with the “Rite of Claiming” as each dragon bonds with his mate.
An interesting backstory about dragons’ purposes to guard and protect the magical “wellsprings” of Earth also figures prominently and suspense/tension is provided by the antagonists, known as the “Fangs of Apophis.” This group is led by “fallen dragons” or “Worms” – those shifters who have succumbed to greed, other indulgences and/or their own personality flaws and whose dragon souls have destroyed their wings in utter despair and humiliation.
What I liked:
These novellas are fun, quick reads with easy to like protagonists (even the ones who are a little stubborn/hardheaded), easy to hate antagonists, nice development of romance and just the right amount of sexual tension. They are also action- and plot-driven with a little erotica interspersed between.
I also appreciated the fact that I finally trusted the authors to not murder a likeable main (or secondary) character and I knew all of the dragon/mate couples would quickly find their happy endings. There were also no cliffhangers (thank you, authors!). Each novella could be considered as stand-alone, even though previously introduced characters make appearances throughout the series.
Why I didn’t give this collection five stars:
Take a guess… it was the errors. There were just enough of those throughout the collection to lower my grade by one star. Also, the errors that were present were the ones that always push my buttons – the incorrect homonyms and the misuse of pronouns.
In summary, I truly liked this collection and I’m going to look for additional works by these two authors – Leela Ash and Tabitha St. George. The ending of the final novella of this series made me think that maybe, just maybe these two authors are planning to revisit their enthralling world of dragon shifters and mates. I certainly hope I’m right!
The Dragons of the First Flight are searching for Wellsprings, they are the connection to the "Other World" and dried up leaving The First Flight nothing to protect, no purpose . Then hope came when Hannah and her family needed money for her brother's treatment. He'd had an accident, her parents were going to sell their farm. Years before Hannah's grandpa had given her a coin, telling her when things got really bad to show it to the Protectors, they were blood bound to help. He failed to mention how she found them though. So she posted it on a rare coins forum hoping for something, then she received a strange email from a Brandon Lorde saying he would video conference her the next day. So it began, the Dragons search to bring back the Wellsprings to protect and to find their fated mates. This complete series, for a very reasonable price too, was excellent. It gripped me from start to finish. Lots of action wondering if, things would go right or wrong. Plenty of romance, Dragons always protect their mates. Just a really well worth read, loved every word. Sue P
This is an extremely fascinating & entertaining box-set written by two talented authors. The various story-lines and plots are well thought out and written with intriguing, suspenseful incidents. The characters are well developed with personalities & have realistic flaws and are quite rebellious at times. What you will find in this intriguing book is: dragon shifters, humans, fallen dragons, worms (wingless dragons), werewolves, faeries, witches, various kinds of shifters, wellsprings, drama, intrigue, mystery, enemies, adventure, action, humor, deceit, betrayal, hidden memories, conflict, threats, fear, anguish, abduction, attractions, sabotage, manipulations, research, attempted murder, sadness, approval, contentment, lust, love, passion & some steam. I enjoyed reading this box-set and would recommend it to people who enjoy reading this genre
I love paranormal shifter stories especially dragon shifters. “Dragon Dreams” by Leela is an incredibly entertaining set of tales. Each tells a story of finding that perfect match that completes your heart. Although there is a background theme that binds the series together, each book is a standalone with a different set of characters. Dark twists, suspenseful. intense, riveting, these stories pack a punch. The suspense and anticipation provided in this collection keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end. Leela is a fantastic storyteller and with the series “Dragon Dreams” has given us many hours of fantastic reading with well-developed plots and hot sexy dragon shifters. A collection well worth reading.
I loved that these books could be read on their own but really loved that the flight of dragons appear in each, mainly centered on one dragon and his mate. The ideal that they meet their mate and dream of them that night (a shared dream, no matter that they are not in the same house 😊) and go though a mating that bond them forever even though they think they are just having a really good hot dream. Leaving the dragons to have to deal with embarrassed women and convince them it was real and they are really mates . Oh yeah, I really am a dragon and we have enemies who could probably/ will try to hurt you/us BUT I will protect you. I read ALL of them straight though.
These stories are a little shorter and pretty steamy in spots, but they deal with a number of strong emotional themes. The dragons may be able to tell their mates by the dream, but that doesn't mean that the romance goes easily. Each story is fast paced, has an emotional tone with a character and action oriented storyline. There are steamy scenes and vibrant characters who draw you into the story. The characters do overlap a bit, but each story is mostly separate following an overarching storyline. I think I liked the final novella the best for its humor, which really softened the emotions a bit. However, all were great to read. This was an excellent introduction to authors I have not read before.
Dragon Dreams the complete collection books one through six plus a bit of a bonus by authors Leela Ash & Tabitha St. George. This series is absolutely spot on!! Each story complements the other. They are filled with action, suspense, betrayal, magic and so much more!! Read each adventure- journey with the characters as they discover truths about themselves and their destiny. Oh you also get some serious deliciousness!! Only issue what happened to Cole???!!!! Enjoy!!
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I Love a good love story and this book series is a good love story times 5. Dragons can only find their true mates when there is magic in the air. One problem, the wellsprings, the source of dragon magic have all dried up. But when the dragon leader has a strange dream after meeting a woman he thinks is a thief, he knows that magic has returned. When Brandon's dragon first sees Hannah, even though he suspected deceit, his dragon claims her. Now it's up to Brandon to get the convince the man that he is in love. This series is about the members of Brandon's flight of dragons finding their true mates. Kind of naughty but really sweet love stories.
This collection of Dragons bonding with their soulmates was fantastic sexy read. Filled with a great storyline; protect "the springwells", which bring the dragons their fated mates. Filled with senerios that put their mates in danger from the "Fangs" and learn to be better dragon protectors and guardians. Looking forward to reading more about the dragons in Colorado.
Shifters, dragons, bears, rats and witches. So many love stories are in these books. There are bad guys, fallen shifters. They are so scary! They try to use the magic well for evil. But the dragons fight back, over and over. This book is a MUST read! It has lots of fighting to protect the wells! It's a fast pace race to save the well and find a mate! Get it! Read it!
Loved these books. A different approach to the usual Dragon Shifter-style and very easy to read. I would love to read more on these books as the threat which featured throughout the whole series wasn't resolved - so would love to see it finally defeated. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who enjoys reading about handsome, hot dragons and their mates.
I loved this series. Each story can be read as a stand alone but so nice when they are in a boxed set. This tells the individual stories of each of six dragons in the flight. Two of the dragon's mates are human while the others are shifters. All are friends who love and protect each other.
This is a wonderful collection of stories about a group of Dragons and how they meet their Mates while also fighting off their enemies. They are all standalone, but reading this collection will let you see what happens to the group of Dragons. I appreciate the epilogue which gives closure to all the stories.
This was a great box set. All of the dragons\men sound so yummy. Brandon is my favorite of them all. Hannah got her dragon. Each book had lots of excitement and adventure. I really like that. Thank you for the wonderful box set of books. I really enjoyed each and every one.
This great box set is a description how the group of dragons found their mates. But of course with each pairing problems arise. Great read and highly recommend this set. A joy to read and hard to put down.
First book I have read from this author. The stories were adorable! I really enjoyed each and enjoyed the fact that the characters followed into the next. I intend to look into the next book!
Enjoyed all six novels. Had some twists and turns that surprised me. Kept me turning pages. Dragon's Renegade was my favorite. Was heart wrenching in places and brought tears at times. But happy ending. Highly recommend reading.
I am so glad Leela paired with Tabitha. They are quite a team and I enjoyed this box set immensely. Having read Leela's books by themselves, it was possible to tell one writing style from the other and they complement each other well.
The shifter mix was so much fun to read. High highs and scary lows. Saving the very best for last. The bachelorette party was a steam. Being a former New Yorker I can totally visualize that party! It was two handkerchiefs!!
This book was so exciting. We meet a woman trying to save her family. The Dragon who could do it if he can get his head out of his butt. Will tgey work things out. Can tgey save her farm and her family?
A wonderful collection of books that follow a Flight of Dragons who are friends and how they met their fated mates. I really enjoyed these short stories and all the trouble and danger they endured. Awesome.
I read each of these marvelous stories individually since the box set was not available yet. I borrowed the box set for the added final epilogue, I am glad I did! Loved it!
Thoroughly enjoyed reading all the stories of the couples in this boxset. I love reading a happy ever after story it makes my day. Thank you for writing these stories.
The last book would make a great movie. Create scenes from each mates first time seeing her mate change, but I am sure the wedding would be needed at the end. I would love to see 5 dragons descend on that restaurant. OMG hilarious.
I was so sorry to complete this series. This series kept me captivated and on the edge of my seat throughout each book. They are a must read. Sit back and enjoy. Be Blessed. Doris
I could not put this series down and managed to read all the books in less than a week! On to the next box set, which I’m sure will be just as captivating as this one was.
I had read these tales before and I enjoyed each one ; but found myself enjoying each novella again from a new perspective. This collection had it all; adventure, romance, introspection, and humor. So enjoyable!
The series of books 📚 about the dragons 🐉 was interesting and fun. The series was about love, magic and evil 😈. Each individual book 📖 had a different story line and ending that drew you in and made the story line interesting. Recommend this series.
The story wasn't too bad. I liked them all except one. My favorite was the first story. The fangs of apophis were a pretty scary bunch.I'm glad there were dragons around to save the day.
