a very useful book about anxiety and ways to cope with it that is easy to read and understand. please ignore repetitions at the very beginning. it gets better as you go!

Unfortunately I did not really enjoy reading this book, as it was more basic than I anticipated. I felt like the book was too long, but somehow lacked substance. What I liked about the book was the author's personal struggle, and lessons from the terminally ill. I wish the book covered this in more dept. I suppose this is a good book if you are completely new to the topic, and are starting to take steps to live a more mindful, self-compassionate, and authentic life.

I really enjoyed this book.

I thought it was straight to the point, with techniques that are simple to use and that actually work. It had a very personal feel to it and I appreciated the author's honesty about his own experience. I have recommended it to a lot of my friends who have found it as accessible and down-to-earth as I have. I love this book! I loved its simplicity and the refreshing lack of jargon. It’s really helped me achieve a more positive approach to my mental health. It’s given me tools to approach things differently and really taught me about the benefits of focussing time on my mind as well as my body. I absolutely love this book and use the techniques on a daily basis. They are so brilliantly explained and clearly written which makes it possible to complete routinely.
I heard the author interviewed on 'The Michael Ball' Radio 2 show at the end of 2018 and was so impressed by his compassion and expertise across a number of different fields in healthcare, this really comes through in the book and adds a real foundation of authenticity. Excellent book, very practical with no jargon. The author has managed a very simple but effective way of using techniques that are easy to use and understand. This is an excellent read and a great tool to use in a busy and hectic lifestyle, as the title says ten minutes a day to a calmer, happier you.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I was looking for ideas to reduce stress in my life and I found it very useful. It’s written in an easy accessible style and layout, giving various steps to becoming a calmer person. I highly recommend it.

An interesting, helpful read written by an experienced clinician with a common sense approach to the subject. There is lots of substance and insight throughout. I have found it very helpful. I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

I’ ve decided to read this book to decrease my anxiety level, my overthinking and to relax. It’s mainly about taking care of your mind through a daily technique to help you relax and calm down. Need to practice it daily to see the results.

This is a really good book via audio. Not sure about if reading it. I did find it complex to fit all these techniques in 10 mins but I chose the useful ones instead. Really helpful though.

Simple, reiterates many other pop psychology books. Not sure about the tapping. Also as part of a two minute routine that can be done at work. Easy to follow.

Great book to learn about the fundamentals of meditation which I really was lacking in knowledge. Amazing book to tap into that mindfulness part of you. Will be implementing this into my routine. O dear!!

I have got through 50% of the book and still not learnt Anything about the ten to Zen technique.
Maybe the author should have taken his own advice, the pertinent information in this book could have been written on 10 pages in 10 minutes!!

So many parts resonated with me... but although I've gone through it twice I still haven't been able to adopt the simple method on a regular basis. I do recall it at times, but I don't think I'm dedicating the time or mindspace to get the potential value.
