I like that the author jumped right into JP's story. He was not well liked in book 1 since he stole his brothers girlfriend. We did find out a few truths about that at the end of Theo and Lacey's book that didn't paint JP as bad as you are lead to believe. In fact, we learn a lot about JP in this book that shows there is always more that meets the eye. I like that we learn that JP is actually a really great guy who just doesn't always make the right choice.

Taylor is a girl who believes in love

Terrific sports romance

This book had a lot of heart. Generally the heroine has a bit more angst than the Hero, but in this one the Hero had the lions share. He was also the more likeable character. That isn’t to say that the heroine was unlikeable, buy I thought the Hero, JP Wynn the Hockey Star from a Hockey dynasty was a better character. Taylor, the speech therapist is a good person, but some of her reasons for doing things were silly. She dates someone else for a while when she really likes

This book deserves a big glowing review from me...But I'm sorry, I just don't have the time with rl getting in the way...so I'll make it short and sweet.

I loved it from the get-go! The hero--bad boy hockey player and black sheep of the family, JP Wynn ( the one who did his brother Theo wrong in the first book and is continually paying for it), hooks up with Taylor (bf of Lacey from the first book) at a wedding...And it was hawt! Chemistry galore. But then her ex shows up at the wedding, and uh-o

The Wynn family has some messed up family politics and in In It to Win It, they really come into play. This book has a relationship that went from hot to cold to medium to cold to hot….ackkk, at one point I was wondering if Ms. Jamieson was going to be able to bring me around, but she did and I ended up enjoying this book, but it took me a while to get there.

JP Wynn has a reputation on and off the ice and within his own family. Granted the one within his family wasn’t his entire fault, he didn’t

JP is truly a bad boy because he stole my heart!!!! Have you read the first book in the series yet? We met both JP and Taylor in Play to Win and while each book can be read as a standalone I would suggest reading the prior book so you can meet both JP and Taylor and see what has been going on with their lives and have brought them to where they are today and it would also give you some background on a pretty big scene that happens at JP's brother Théo's wedding. The second book about the Winn family of hockey and you have the couple from the last book getting married at the beginning. J.P. the brother is attracted to Taylor and the night before the wedding they hook up and after the wedding during the dancing, she sees her ex from the first book another hockey player who now plays in Nashville. Another awesome read…

This author’s hockey romances have me before anyone says ‘hello’! Full of heart, sultry passion and lots and lots of complicated family, the drama and heat blend together into great reads. JP and Taylor’s courtship fit right in….

JP and Taylor hooked up at a family wedding and it was magic. Until real life interfered. With fists flying and family in uproar (again), JP and Taylor scrambled to figure out what went wrong. Timing was key and it didn’t always work in their favor.

JP is not a stupid man, “when a woman says she’s ‘fine,’ that means she’s not fine.” JP may have confidence but when it comes to his woman hes unsure of everything, "I wait, rubbing my jaw, swallowing. I had it custom made for her because I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted. She swipes at her eyes. Jesus. I hope that means she’s happy." I liked this book, I loved JP.

I think the biggest thing as to whether or not you'll love this book is if you believe in and feel the chemistry JP and Taylor have. Unfortunately, I did not. The opening scene had me all sorts cringing and I never fully recovered from it. There's a will they/won't they beginning followed by a casually exclusive relationship, and of course, a rift that they must overcome in order to realize they love each other. All of this hinges on their chemistry though. And most of the time, I didn't feel it ...more

As a fan of sports-fueled romances I was immediately drawn to this book and its deliciously flawed hero. Add in an outspoken heroine and you get an emotional tug-of-war that will keep readers cheering this combustible couple on with every turn of the page. Though this book can definitely be read on its own, the anger and disappointments directed towards this hero will make more sense when you see where he and his family first had their falling out. Even if you don’t read the previous book you’ll ...more

Seductive Yet Sweet! This story is so full of fun, drama, love, family, personal growth and forgiveness. After reading the first story in this series I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this story about JP Wynn. And it definitely did not disappoint. I had a fantastic time reading about JP and Taylor. Their story pulled me in from the beginning and held my attention through all the twists and turns.

There was something about this book...things that normally would have irritated me didn't. I think a part of that was JP. Sure he was a screw up, but he was working hard to correct that part of himself. You could see when he would pull himself back and how he would beat himself up when he wasn't successful.

Taylor was fun and the perfect person for JP. It was easy to see why at times she was a bit wary of starting anything with him, but if she forgot that he was a hockey player all was good. The

I'm pretty sure that Kelly Jamieson might be my go-to for sexy romances. Especially for sexy sports romances. I loved her Hockey Aces series, and having read the first book in this new series Wynn Hockey, I am hooked! I really liked Play to Win, but there was just something about the Bad Boy, who is really just trying his best that captured my heart in this book. I actually pre-ordered this book, but when I saw it was availab

Play to Win had me wanting a sequel right after I was finished reading it. My expectations were pretty high for In It to Win It, but I wasn't disappointed at all. Kelly Jamieson gave me everything I wanted and more in this sequel.

We get a glimpse of JP in the first book and he's not painted as the best character. It seems he stole his brother's girlfriend (that's not completely the case, but people judge him for it). He's a typical bad boy and even though in many cases he's not as bad as people

In it To Win It by Kelly Jamieson is book 2 in the Wynn family dynasty. JP is the brother of Theo the lead in book 1 Play to Win and Taylor is Lacey’s friend. I adored book one and I highly recommend reading them in order.

Now back to JP…. In It to Win It opens a bit before the end of Play to Win and man does it open with a wallop, well after some very steamy moments that is!

JP is a man struggling with the actions of his past, a man trying to do better and be better. It is clear from the moment h

This is the second book in the series about the extremely dysfunctional Wynn Family, a Hockey Dynasty. Fortunately, the author provides a family tree of sorts at the beginning to help keep all the characters straight. The first book was about Theo, how he rescued Lacey from Los Vegas, and brought her to California, where she pretended to be his girlfriend to throw in the face of his brother, PJ, who he and the entire family believed stole his previous girlfriend. But things are often not like th ...more

Kelly Jamieson brings us yet another winning hockey book with the Wynn family series. I love all the branches of that very large extended family tree she includes in the front of the book. This attention grabber is about JP who we got a good shot of in book one as the ne'er do well brother who has a bit of a short fuse on the ice, as well as getting a seriously bad rap by his family for a suspect relationship with his older brothers girlfriend. Poor JP just can't win. Although he's trying and ha ...more

Being part of the Wynn family was NOT easy. JP was labeled the "bad boy" of the clan due to his past romantic entanglements and scrapes out on the ice. He was determined to "be better", however, would he ever be good enough for a woman like Taylor?

This was all about JP for me. Yes, he was guilty of every crime he was accused of, but he was never given the opportunity to present his side of the story. He just accepted the admonishment from his family, and let them believe he was this impulsive ho

I'm ok with the straight forward jumping right into of this. I was curious to see JP's book and if he will redeem himself after what he did to Theo. I felt like that needed more resolution from book one aside. JP has always struck me as impulsive and lady's man, start of this book says just that. He and Taylor were insta lust and just went for it. But what he doesn't know ia that Taylor has some strings, it gets complicated than a simple wedding hook up. But I don't count Taylor innocen

4.5 Star Review of In It To Win It (Wynn Hockey #2) by Kelly Jamieson

In It To Win is the second in the latest series from Kelly Jamieson, Wynn Hockey. This is JP Wynn and Taylor Heart’s story and I really enjoyed it. JP plays lives to play hockey although his antics both on and off the ice have gotten him in to more hot water that he would and his family would like.
The family dynamics of the Wynn family had my head spinning, dysfunctional is not a strong enough word to describe this family.

"Not to brag, but I don't even need alcohol to make bad decisions."

This story was my introduction to Kelly Jamieson. Yes, it was the cover that got my attention and I decided to give her a chance. Though it's the second in the Wynn Hockey series I read it as a standalone. After meeting so many amazing support characters I can see how a whole series could evolve.

Kelly Jamieson lights the lamp with IN IT TO WIN IT (Wynn Hockey #2). This is JP Wynn’s and Taylor Hart’s story. The novel starts out at JP’s brother Theo’s wedding to Lacey; JP is the best man, and Taylor is a bridesmaid. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for adult readers.

I adored this story. JP was not my favorite person in book one, but as we find out all the details of what happened with Theo’s ex, he became a likable character. Taylor is a fun heroine. I like that these two hook

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

This is the second book in the series, and I really think that you should read them in order. The Wynn family is big, complicated and all about hockey! Understanding the family dynamics will help with some of the snark, and the politics!

JP is a good guy who has a quick temper on and off the ice. He made a big mistake when he started seeing his brother's girlfriend, Emma, although she had said they were over at the time

I’m so happy JP got to redeem himself in this book! Anyone who has read the first book in this series, Play to Win, knows JP has made some mistakes, but In It to Win It really shows that he’s just a bad boy with a heart of gold. The story follows JP, a pro hockey player from the complicated Wynn family. He was introduced in the first book (these can be read as standalones, but you’ll get a lot more enjoyment out of the book if you’ve read Play to Win first). Oh, this was good.

I love a good hockey romance, but I need a decent amount of both the hockey and the romance. Kelly gives the perfect amount of each. Best of all she knows her hockey.
JP is fun, he's the opposite of his brother Theo, except he has a huge heart. He's just better at hiding it. He's his own worst enemy and although I felt like he was overly hard on himself I had to remind myself that we humans are sometimes destructive like that. But JP's changing his way, trying harder to do bett
