I love this series. I started Devoted just before I went to bed, woke up and had to read some more, went to work, and came home and immediately picked up the book to finish it. The characters made me hope for the best for them. The storyline pulled me in. The settings were realistic and interesting.
The storyline picks up right where the first book lets off and continues the story of Nina and Julian. I had ideas of where the story should go and I am happy to say that I had most of it right. But just as I was getting comfortable and thought I knew what was going to happen next MJ Massuci threw in a twist that I didn’t see coming. These twists kept me on my toes and kept me wondering what would happen next.
There is a third book in this series and I cannot wait to read it. I am excited for Julian and Nina to find their happily ever after, for Carly to get what’s coming to her, and for the secondary characters to find their happiness too.

I could not put this book down - had to read the whole thing in one night because the twists and turns completely drew me in. This is the second in a three part series, but enough of the previous books plot is revealed throughout that its ok to start here.
More is revealed about Julian’s past as you find out who kidnapped Nina, and why. However, just when you think you know what’s going to happen next, the story takes a turn - in the best way. It kept me guessing right up to the cliff-hanger ending.
The writing in this book is more fast paced than its predecessor, which keeps things moving at a good clip. Don’t worry - there’s plenty of steamy romance to keep it from being a total action story. It’s a great read!!
Given what has come so far, I am really looking forward to book 3. Hopefully the villains get theirs, and Nina & Julian get their well deserved HEA.

This is the second book in the series. It starts out a few months after the first book ended. Their relationship is over given her announcement. He just wants her to be happy. Secrets are revealed and more puzzling issues appear. I was surprised by the depth of mystery within the pages of the books. More is revealed within but there is even more unexplained. Well written and entertaining.
