I had trouble getting into this book at first because the book opens in first person present tense (which I personally really hate), but after a while I stopped caring about and started enjoying the witty dialog and story.

The story is actually told in two different storylines: one in the present, and one in the past. Which I found to be one of the more appealing aspects of the book. It was a good choice to break things up and reveal the backstory as we were experiencing the main storyline. It ad

This is an engaging story! Not too romance-y, but just enough for me. It was emotional at times, but laugh-out-loud funny at others. Robin’s numerous blunders kept me turning pages well into the night!

This book varied between three and four stars at various points which frustrated me as it had the potential to be amazing but just fell flat. I liked Robin but just wished she told those around her about the FBI/IRS thing. The queer element was mentioned at the begiining and not really dicussed until 2/3 of the way through. The relationship with Sarah was sweet but god damn it Robin, stop being a shitty person. Robin was sweet but if I knew her in real life, I'd think she was a terrible person f ...more

The lighthearted storyline in ACCOUNTING FOR IT ALL is laced with cutting-edge wit and downhome charm. I found myself rooting for Robin, the heroine, as she inadvertently finds herself painted into a felonious corner with few avenues of escape.

In particular, my hat is off to the author, R. R. Campbell, for his incredible ability to write convincingly from a female's point of view. I'm impressed, and you will be too.

This was a nice story. Even if it was a typical romance.

Robin works at pornucopia has always skirt her way through the system but this time she has a lot to lose when the IRS comes knocking at her door. She has to decide if is worth it to make a wrong choices even if it's for the right reasons.

I received an ARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Accounting for it All had so much promise but crashed and burned for me. The book was slow and the ending was just not what you might expect.
