I've been a bit cautious on social media lately as I've been having a bit of trouble hence not noticing your question as I've not been on the site. In terms of expert advice - no, I just look things up on the internet. It's probably not that accurate really, but it's just fiction and escapism so if I've got it wrong, then I hope I'm not judged to harshly! X(less)

An enjoyable read with some unexpected twists and not to mention some steamy scenes. April Masters, police officer, is on the hunt to bring down suspected art thief, Dylan Rider. She's got to get her man so she can cash in and get some much needed funds for her ailing son's surgery abroad. Love stories with a strong female lead and this one ticked all the boxes!

Wow from the moment you turn the page you would never expect this outcome. An undercover sting by police officer April Masters and an art gallery owner and thief Dylan Ryder. Page after page this sting went off without a hitch, and everyone involved would be caught in the end. So to speak as April played the ex con looking for rehabilitation at the gallery and knowing Dylan had the means and expertise to pull the heist off. The plan was concocted. She played the part to a Tee and had no qualms d ...more

Be Prepared To Be Gripped

April Masters is no ordinary police office. Beautiful and intelligent, April goes undercover to bring down Dylan Ryder, a rich art dealer who’s making his fortune selling stolen works of art.

The story is very well written, the characters are well rounded and you can’t help but love/hate a few. Joy has added a variety of twists and turns that I never saw coming. This book is a must read.

Do yourself a favour. Curl up by the fire with that well earned glass of wine and you

Brilliantly Written.

Wow, another brilliantly book written by Joy Wood. IV really enjoyed all her books to date, but this one certainly moves up a notch or two. It kept me totally enthralled and gripped, from the beginning to the end, and didn't want it to finish.

Joy Wood is a very talanted and clever Author who's showing her creativity by writing different styles and keeping you on the edge.

Well done Joy Wood and so looking forward to your next book. Thank you
