Rate this book
Enhance your software deployment workflow using containers Docker containers have revolutionized the software supply chain in both small and large enterprises. Furthermore, they even benefit from increased security thanks to the use of containers. Starting with an introduction to Docker fundamentals and setting up an environment to work with it, you’ll delve into concepts such as Docker containers, Docker images, and Docker Compose. As you advance, the book will help you explore deployment, orchestration, networking, and security. You’ll also get to grips with Docker functionalities on public clouds such as AWS. By the end of this book, you’ll have gained hands-on experience working with Docker containers and orchestrators such as SwarmKit and Kubernetes. If you’re a system administrator, operations engineer, DevOps engineer, or developers interested in getting started with Docker, this book is for you. No prior experience with Docker containers is required.
