It is time for friendship + cake! Also being honest.

I was so excited when the library FINALLY had a new book in this series in their collection (and in English even). It has been a while since they added a new book in the series and I have been seeing new books pop up on the twitter of the author.

In this one we have a fun contest in which our kids can win tickets to the finale for a baking show that is all the rage. Well, if you have a tv. 😛 Poor Isadora whose parents just don’t understand you s

Isadora Moon is "half vampire, half fairy, totally unique." This is the second book in the series I have read but there are many others. No prior knowledge of the others is required.

First thing to say is that the other book in the series I read was hardback with silver gilt edges to the pages whereas this one is paperback with no hardback currently available. As far as first impressions go the hardcover with the silver-edged pages is better. But this still has a good cover which is typical of th

Isadora Moon is going to her best friend Zoe's house for her very first sleepover! It isn't all fun and games, however-the girls have to work together to make a cake for their school's baking competition! When they get a little carried away using Isadora's magic to make the cake extra special, Isadora starts to doubt if it is really fair to submit their magically-improved creation into the contest at their human school.

Another great addition to the sweet Isadora Moon series. I enjoy the twist o

Isadorina mama je víla, otec upír. Nevšedné a originálne spojenie a teda dôvod, prečo som si knihu kúpila. Príbeh sa mi páčil. Postavy mi prišli sympatické. Očakávala som síce niečo iné, no bolo to celkom fajn. Alebo len t ...more

The 9th in Harriet Muncaster’s self-illustrated fantasy series for children aged 6+ is a decidedly pink and sparkly affair about friendship and what to do if you think that your friend wants you to do something wrong. It’s a very girly book but that’s no bad thing and I think that there’s plenty here for children to relate to – and I did like the magically alive monkey and pink rabbit.

Isadora Moon is half fairy and half vampire, and full of honesty in this book. Not only is there a big lesson in telling the truth, but there's lots of cake! ...more

These little books are so cute! Not only are the drawings fun but the stories always have a lesson. I think children will love them (and so do I)!
