Regan is too good for a man like me. In a way, I feel like I’ve just tainted her. She’s nowhere near ready for someone like me.
And I really don’t think I’m ready for someone like her.

We’re now four books into the ”Arizona Vengeance” series and it’s getting even better with each installment. Not only does the book have an amazing cover, but it also has a couple of my favorite tropes-- ”friends-to-lovers” & “romance with the older brother’s

Dax is book 4 of the Arizona Vengeance series and, as you might have guessed by the title, brings us to Dax Monahan. His story takes place parallel to most of the previous book, Legend, and there are some events from that book that are brought up in this one. None of the events overshadow Dax's own story though and it was pretty cool to see those same scenes from a different POV.

Dax's story starts off with him going to meet his best friends little sister after hear

In the continuing series, Arizona Vengeance, Sawyer Bennett did something a little different. She brought all of her talent and storytelling to this new Hockey team and decided to tell each main character's story on the same timeline. This means you can read all of these entries and see everything happening from another vantage point. So far we have gotten to know many of the team and their family members, too. There enough sis

DAX and Regan haven't seen each other in a while but when tragedy strikes he is right there ready to help her in any way he can, but I can assure you he didn't expect to propose marriage to her as a way of helping.

The chemistry is great between Dax and Regan and I enjoyed the inner turmoil Dax was going through when he was feeling things he thought he shouldn't be feeling towards her. I wouldn't say this was a fun read but it did have some fun moments, I felt it was a bit more on the serious sid
A cute, sexy and touching hockey romance.

After losing his best friend in a senseless mugging, NHL star Dax Monahan goes to New York to support his best friend’s little sister who he’s known since she was born and has grown up to be the most beautiful woman he’s ever laid eyes on.

When Dax learns that the stunning Regan Miles is in need of help and the only way to do so is by marrying her, he doesn’t hesitate. His protective alpha male comes to the fore and orders her to move to Arizona with hi

After getting glimpses of Dax from the previous books in this series I couldn't wait to read his story and his story was definitely a book with so many feels. Dax and Regan's story was heartfelt, all-consuming, emotional and one you just wanted to keep reading and never stop. Dax and Reagan have known each other for years, grew up together but what happens when that friendship line blurs and becomes more? What happens when your bestfriend dies and you are trusted to take care of his sister, to h ...more

There are so many different tropes that this dual POV book can fall into. We have Brothers Best Friend, Sports Romance, Marriage of Convenience and I love them all. Sawyer Bennett does a lot of things right, and one of my most cherished things from her are the sports romance. She has two hockey series and this one is fast becoming my favourite.

Dax Monahan is on the Arizona Vengeance team and his life is full of anything and everything hockey. He is still grieving from losing his best friend Lan

I really enjoyed Dax by Sawyer Bennett.
Loved it so much I ended up reading it in one sitting :)

The storyline is entertaining, well written, the characters were fun getting to know and they warmed my heart watching them fall in love.

Overall, Dax is a great addition to the Arizona Vengeance series, each book can be read as a standalone and I highly recommend them all!

Now I need Tacker's book, like NOW! lol

I absolutely love what Sawyer Bennett is doing with this series. I love how all the stories are woven together on the same timeline so we get peeks into what's going on with the other characters over the courses of different books. It feels a little bit like a soap opera - these relationships, friendships, and life drama continually fleshed out and advancing with each new offering.

And yet somehow, these still work as a standalone. It wouldn't be my recommended way of reading them, because - as I

I'm sorry to say this is the first book I've read in this series but I'm sure it won't be the last! And I really want to read the first three now.

This was a fantastic read. The subject matter was a little heavy but it was handled well and never became oppressive. And I loved the angle with this story! Kind of friends to lovers with a bit of taboo best friends sister thing thrown in. I love the way Dax steps right up when he learns what's up with Regan. And I thought Regan's acceptance of that he

This is the story of a hockey player and his friend's little sister. Dax and his whole family are just sweet and awesome people. The way he steps up for Regan just shows his character. I like how Regan is so open, honest, and accepting. She's got a handle on herself and her heart. These two are a sweet pair, and the angst is low. There's enough going on in this without needing a ton of angst, so it was perfect. The ending is totally swoony and I can't wait to read about them and all the others i ...more

Overall 4 stars
Performance 4 stars
Story 3.5 stars

I really enjoyed the narration by Aiden Snow and Virginia Rose. Rose gave an emotional performance as Regan and really captured her vulnerability and pain. Snow's deep voice was perfect for Dax, but I did find it was too gruff for the female characters (which is understandable). There wasn't a ton of variation in his other characters as well, so there were a few times I wasn't sure which character was speaking at fi

Dax Monahan has been around in all of the Vengeance books. He is the easygoing charmer whose prowess with women got him in a bit of trouble. But even though he is focused on winning, he is also a good team mate and friend who is there for those that need him.

When tragedy strikes, Dax wants to make sure his best friend's little sister, Regan is okay. And even though she is evasive, he finally gets the truth out of her. And he is determined to fix her situation and make things easier for her...eve

Woot! Another Sawyer Bennett hockey hottie to add to my collection!

If you have read the earlier books in this series, you will have already met Dax - if you haven't - why not?? You are missing some awesomeness.

Dax kind of runs parallel to the previous book Legend, and it was wonderful to see some of the stuff from Legend's book from another perspective.

5 star Review Dax (Arizona Vengeance #4) by Sawyer Bennett

From previous books in this fabulous series, it was fairly obvious that Dax Monahan might well become involved with the sister of his recently deceased friend, Lance.

He is surprised to learn that Regan Miles is sick and struggling to keep up with the cost of the treatments. When Dax sees Regan he is shocked how much she has grown up, after all to him she has always been the little sister. Dax is even more shocked when to help her out, he

ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.

I love this series, and I get really excited when I learn that we're getting close each time a new book is coming out for these boys. Of course we have met Dax in the previous books, so I was keen to jump in and see what his story would be. If you remember the previous books, you'll remember he had a phone call and had to fly off because something serious had happened with his friend.

The start of Dax's book overlaps with the end

Dax is a book that is part of the series Arizona Vengeance and brings a story of getting involved with his best friend's sister. A cliché that I confess I like is always has the effect of entertaining me, and here wasn't different.

This book had some positives and some negatives for me. What I liked was the characters themselves: Regan proved to be a great character, who due to the circumstances could be those characters who feel sorry for themselves, but she proved to be a brave, strong

Dax was a whirlwind of emotions! I mean, Regan had already been through a lot, but it appeared that was not about to change now. Dax just wanted to step up for her, though, and oh my gosh, he SO did! The romance was both cute and fun, but there were some much more realistic themes in this novel, too.
I loved that Regan and Dax had known each other since they were children, and that their families

Oh Dax, the alpha male with a heart of gold.

First of all let me say that I read this story and after I was done, I had to read it again. It touched my soul and I was touched by Dax's compassion. Dax and Regan know each other all their lives, but when tragedy strikes and certain things come to light, Dax becomes the man Regan needs to not only heal her heart and soul but also her body.

This story is heartfelt from beginning to end, you can truly feel how much Dax and Regan cared for each other as

What an amazing book, I absolutely loved it. It’s very heartwarming. I didn’t expect to cry within the first chapter. Loved how close Dax and his family are to Megan ( she’s his best friend Lance’s little sister). It’s such an emotional read and there’s a reason why he insists on marrying her. I am always excited to get a hockey-themed book from Sawyer. The storylines are compelling and keep you entertained throughout the book. I can tell there has been some research done during these books both with hockey and the other "stuff" that Sawyer throws your way. Dax and Regan are so enjoyable. The back storyline with Tacker and the things that he and his team are going through remind me of some real-life happenings on one of the NHL teams this past season. I can’t get enough of these Vengeance players; all sexy alpha male on the outside and soft and sweet on the inside. From the very first page to the last I was intrigued by this story. Ms. Bennett has such a wonderful writing talent. She pulls you into her stories, and then you don’t want to put the book down. I always think how does she make this book better than the last one! I was so touched by Dax and Regan’s relationship. I loved that they knew each other most of their lives. One of the hardest parts for both of them was their bonding over the loss of Regan’s brother and Dax’s best friend. Then when Dax finds out about Regan’s disease, he steps up to the plate.
